We recently starting blogging about our pup, Bella, a terrier/boxer mix. Smartest, sweetest dog ever.
I have been blogging about my cats for almost a year now. It really is a great outlet for every day life!
One day at work I came across the catblogosphere mentioned in this article. Amused by it, I began checking out some of the pet blogs. Then a few weeks later I saw a story about a kitten who needed a home after a horrific ordeal involving a car. The woman who rescued him has a cat who blogs regularly and I contacted her about adopting the kitten. I have had him since December 2007 and he has been blogging ever since. All of the people in the blog community pulled together to help him out and now he blogs about his daily adventures as a way to thank them and keep them informed on his progress. Plus it’s fun to get into his little head and speak for him. Pet owners know what their pets are thinking, blogging is sort of sharing their thoughts for them with the world.
