But now, as you may know, the recent buzz in game systems includes “Rock Band†and “Guitar Hero.â€

My 18 year old son, home for the holidays from K-State, has been playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero a LOT. He and his friends get together and jam. It’s fun having them in the house, and they’re pretty darn good. I enjoy most of the music because a lot of it is from the 70’s and 80’s, and it’s introduced my son to a lot of good music. He’s bought Guns n Roses, Metallica and Pearl Jam CD’s.
I’ve played Guitar Hero and I am pretty decent but only on easy level. but a friend of ours got Rock Band for christmas and we played it on new years and i discovered 2 things… I am an AWFUL singer and I am a TERRIBLE drummer. but we had alot of fun. Through and through I am a sims addict to the core there is nothing like spending a crappy day at work than going home and being able to play god.
