The “always a bridesmaid” pop culture phenomenon comes to the big screen in “27 Dresses†starring Katherine Heigl of “Grey’s Anatomy” fame. If you can’t wait until next week, when it opens nationally, check out the sneak preview at 2:25 p.m. Sunday at Warren Theatre (west).

Sorry to say I have been a bridesmade 11 times. Started when I was 15, and the last one was for my niece when I was 36! I think the change in hairstyles was worse than the dresses. I did wear one dress again to my prom….back in the 70’s we wore what we had!
