Burger King’s latest commercial

Can anyone tell me what is up with Burger King’s latest commercial? You know which one I’m talking about. It involves, shall we say, a big chicken that happens to be bucking (like a bronco). The first time I heard it, I thought someone had dropped an F-bomb on primetime TV. Friends and colleagues have told me they’ve had the same experience. Some say it only reminds them of the previous bizarre Burger King commercials, including the ones in which the King shows up unexpected in a very creepy manner.

What’s your reaction? Is it funny? Stupid? Offensive?

“The Bad Body Blues”

Wichita psychologist Beth McGilley says most women sing some version of "The Bad Body Blues." My verse would probably focus on baby-fine hair that flies through the air, not listening to me, sticking out like a tree.

OK, a poet I’m not. But you get the idea. What’s your verse?
