Rhonda HolmanRhonda Holman joined The Eagle’s editorial staff in 1997, moving from the newsroom after nearly a decade of writing about entertainment and the fine arts. Rhonda grew up in Halstead and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Kansas. Rhonda’s duties for The Eagle include writing editorials, copyediting editorials and other commentary, and compiling Opinion Line, Other Views and Student Views. Randy ScholfieldRandy Scholfield, who joined The Eagle editorial department in August 2001, writes editorials and a personal column. Randy is a native Kansan who grew up in Augusta. Richard CrowsonRichard Crowson, editorial cartoonist, was born and raised “in the shadow of Graceland” in Memphis. His work has been reprinted in Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Washington Post and USA Today. A collection of his Eagle editorial cartoons titled “Prairie Mirth” was published in 1992.
