Kansas earns ‘F’ on protecting new parents

Meanwhile, a new study gave Kansas an “F” grade on its policies (or lack thereof) to protect new parents. Kansas is among 17 states that don’t expand upon federal rights or protections, limited as they are, for new and expecting parents, according to a study by the National Partnership for Women and Families.
