Special unit reflects importance of open government

The proposal is backed by the Kansas Press Association and the Kansas Association of Counties, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported. KPA executive director Doug Anstaett said that potential violations are widespread. “It seems we continue to make the same mistakes over and over,” he said.
