NSA programs ‘wholly constitutional,’ Pompeo says

Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Wichita, recently defended the National Security Agency’s data-collection programs on John Stossel’s talk show on Fox Business. Stossel asked why Pompeo, who is normally skeptical of government, trusts it on this issue. Pompeo said that no one brings a deeper distrust of government to Washington, D.C., than he does, but that these programs are needed and “wholly constitutional.” He said: “There is incredible oversight from all three branches of government – exactly how the founders intended it.”
