The parents of journalist Austin Tice (in photo), who was captured in Syria four months ago, wrote an open letter to his captors asking that he be released. “Let Austin come home for Christmas. Let us hug him, laugh and cry with him, love him in person. Let us be a whole family again,” they wrote.
