Nancy Pelosi (in photo) plans to stay as House minority leader, despite Democrats having lost the majority in 2010 and fallen at least 17 seats short of regaining it this past election. Meanwhile, Republicans re-elected Mitch McConnell as Senate minority leader, though the GOP lost Senate seats this past election and McConnell failed badly at his No. 1 priority of making President Obama a one-term president.
