Gov. Sam Brownback plans to visit Wichita Friday to support local GOP candidates. His political action committee also has been active this election. Brownback’s Road Map PAC raised nearly $66,500 from July 27 through Oct. 25 and spent about $51,500, according to a disclosure report. Most of the donors were companies, including $25,000 from AT&T. Oil executive A. Scott Ritchie III of Wichita donated $5,000. Most of the spending went to GOP candidates, including $500 each to a dozen local House candidates and $1,000 each to local Senate candidates Michael O’Donnell and Kenya Cox.
