“It has been a Junius Horribilis for President Obama,” Dana Milbank wrote in the Washington Post. The list of bad political and economic news for Obama includes stalled job growth, the recall election in Wisconsin, Mitt Romney raising more money than Obama, an investigation into national-security leaks, and Obama saying that the “private sector is doing fine.” And now, Milbank noted, the White House is having to answer (by not answering) questions about his commerce secretary being cited for a felony hit-and-run.
