Among college-educated white men, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney had a 57 to 39 percent lead over President Obama in the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll, columnist E.J. Dionne Jr. noted. “But among college-educated white women, Obama led Romney by 60 percent to 40 percent,” Dionne wrote. “This netted to a rather astounding 38-point gender gap, compared with a net 27-point gap among all white voters.” Among white voters without a college education, Romney leads Obama by 19 percentage points. Among voters of all races and education levels, Obama leads Mitt Romney by 8 percentage points, according to the poll.
