Obama following Brownback’s lead on regulations

President Obama seems to be following Gov. Sam Brownback’s lead in wanting to eliminate unneeded or outdated regulations. Good for both of them. Brownback created an office of the “repealer” to review Kansas regulations, and Obama signed an executive order Tuesday aimed at better balancing the need for regulations with the need for economic growth. “It’s a review that will help bring order to regulations that have become a patchwork of overlapping rules, the result of tinkering by administrations and legislators of both parties and the influence of special interests in Washington over decades,” Obama explained in a commentary in the Wall Street Journal.
