Kansas’ economy keeps improving, but don’t expect a big job rebound anytime soon. The May Business Condition Index, which is prepared by Creighton University in Nebraska and based on a survey of supply managers, showed Kansas improving for the seventh consecutive month. Still, based on the latest the job data and the state’s recovery from the 2001 recession, Creighton economics professor Ernie Goss said he didn’t expect Kansas to fully restore the more than 52,000 jobs it has lost until September 2012.
