Some parents understandably aren’t comforted or satisfied by the efforts of day care employees to keep Margaret E. Walker (in photo) from driving, because their children still ended up riding in a van driven by someone who was legally drunk, according to a police report. But the employees of Creative Connections Learning Center deserve credit for calling 911, particularly when they knew that doing so meant they would lose their jobs. “I knew once I call, we’re done,” teacher Lindsey White told The Eagle. The employees also called police and confronted their boss before she left, told her not to drive and attempted to take away the van keys, according to White.

Brave women who had to make a decision that would cost their jobs.
Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody is watching.
They were watching out for the children.
I salute you Lindsey White and other workers of Creative Connections Learning Center who had the courage to do the right thing.
May be hard for her to find other employment, whistle blowers aren’t that popular in Con land.
The workers did the right thing. When reading the story a question that came to mind was: Did the police officers do everything they should have done? They were contacted more than once.
I’m disappointed that after the police were told that a woman was driving with alcohol and kids and that they didn’t try to stop her.

Only extreme partisans make a politcal issue out of a non partisan story.
I applaud the workers, they did a very difficult thing. But they were obligated to do what they did. We should praise them. They could not physically stop her, but they could get police involved which is exactly what they did.
By the way, I would think if these people opened their own daycare, it would be VERY popular.
