Campaign managers trade jabs

elephantfightScott Paradise, campaign manager for 4th Congressional District candidate Wink Hartman, dismissed the endorsement of fellow GOP candidate Mike Pompeo by state Sen. Susan Wagle, R-Wichita, as one career politician endorsing another political insider. “If we want our government to change, then we have to stop sending those same career politicians to Washington,” Paradise said in a statement. Pompeo’s campaign manager, Aaron Jack, responded that Pompeo is a businessman and a first-time candidate for office, not a politician. “Here we are, 52 weeks to the day from the general election, and already Wink Hartman has decided to launch a negative campaign,” Jack said.

Just another skirmish in the republican civil war!

First skirmishes in the coming political season.

Incidentally, Blaid Drg69, I’m still looking for the sources in my files that predicts the bulk of America’s public transportation will return to fast ground bullet trains from old fashioned jet aircraft in the future. That’s why Wichita’s historic Union Railroad Station should be preserved as a future middle of America AMTRAK station.

I know the information is there somewhere.

    Scott Paradise is an idiot.

Hartman’s campaign consultant, Jeff Roe, from KC is a slash and burn guy whose style won’t fit too well in Wichita.

The comment from Paradies is a great example of his stupidity.

    Pompeo a career politician? ? ?

    Career politicians?

Ask the Democrats about that in the Congress. Heck, they have one guy who has been there since the 1950s.

No wonder Congress is so scr3wed up – same-o same-o

The 4th district is going to be a pretty hotly contested GOP primary which ought to provide plenty of circle jerks for liberals.
Ultimately the winner of the GOP primary wins the seat and that’s all that matters.

Wink obviously does not realize that Pompeo has not held public office.

He appears to have the same tact of Dee Sturaut from Park City. Say what ever you want and ignore the facts.

Mike Pompeo will make a fine congressman for the fourth district. He understands business, family and the districts needs.

Mike Pompeo will listen to the people so that he is their voice in DC.

It’s much better to send billionaires like Hartman to Washington.

Maybe he can build them an arena with his name on it.

Note the disdain used by ComradeCapn when referring to “billionaires like Hartman”.

Success is something abhorred by the libs. Profit is evil to them.

Frankly, I prefer that our country be led by achievers.

You really are a hoot this morning Regular. Todd Tiarht ran on term limits but I don’t see him wanting to get out of Congress anytime soon.

But, this time around, the people will see to it that Tiarht lives up to his promise of keeping those term limits and vote in Moran.

    Isn’t Democracy great?

But especially those with money and the ‘proper’ religion.

All I hear about Pompeo is he is a great businessman. And Wink Hartman is a nobody in the business world?

Yeah, right. Keep on living in that fantasy world Pompeo supporters.

That slash and burn style is exactly what the Wichita Social Conservative Republicans enjoy – as long as they are doing the slashing and burning.

But good for Wink Hartman’s campaign manager – he is not going to let some ‘pompous’ guy run him over.

Isn’t Pompeo the National Committeeman for the Kansas GOP? on the flip side if Wagle wanted to side with the established political she would have endorsed Kelesy

Anyone find it interesting that the person defending Pompeo as an ‘outsider’ and not a politician is an elected Kansas State Representative…and a career politician?

Jack has only been in office for one year. You can hardly call that a career politician.
