Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius raised eyebrows today during her Senate testimony about H1N1 readiness. A Washington Post blog explained that Kansas’ former governor had an outpatient procedure Tuesday to remove a basal cell carcinoma from her forehead.

If .Gov forced health care is going to make me look like that, I’ll pass…..Jeebus..
to remove a basal cell carcinoma from her forehead.
Lobotomy?
Looks like she just got her azz whooped.
I know what she’s saying in that picture: “Yeah, but you should see the other guy!”
Seriously, though, here’s to Sebelius’ good health. Skin cancer is bad, bad news if not caught early.
basal cell carcinoma is usually relatively benign – especially if caught early. It is the other kinds of skin cancer that become serious quickly.
Sebelius needs to lay off of the meth, it has really taken a toll on her looks.

Definitely can be one of the nastier types of cancers.
First off, let’s all hope she gets better. Best wishes to her.
Second, why not an eyepatch here? Too sinister? Isn’t there anybody who works for her who could’ve said, “Boss, go with the patch.”
I understand appearances are superficial, but yikes. There’s a reason we all comb our hair in the morning.
“Testify Like a Pirate Day” on Capitol Hill?
Must have had a beer with the prez. and a cig to go with it. (yes I realize she is holding a pen)
It must have been a heck of a party to still be in this condition the day after. heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh,
You know Rhonda, by posting this you are displaying a complete lack of understanding and tolerance for diversity, making fun of the way someone looks.
Oh btw,
Was there any reporting of what Sebelius actually had to say?
Not relevent?
Sebelius really isn’t relevant Jim.
Is she too dense to know she should temporarily wear an eye patch or bandage to mask that.
She looks like she got worked over, not sure she didn’t either, and looks like she is smoking a cig.
Reminds me of my younger days and some of the stuff you’d find in some dive joint right before closing.
They looked pretty bad even then.
I don’t care much for Kathy, but the News Media should not have run with the photo and story. I regard it as not necessary and just trying to stir up trouble. But, the MSM is always in the toliet with me.
I like the former gov, but what did her doctor use for the surgery, a hammer?
They have opened the job as a full-time position, which means my temp job will no longer exist and I have to apply for the full time one. ,
