Kansas Lawmaker’s Anti-Obama ‘Redneck Rap’ Taken Down

A rap on YouTube featuring Republican Rep. Bill Otto criticizing the president’s policies has been taken down.

A video featuring a Kansas legislator criticizing President Barack Obama’s policies while wearing a hat describing opossum as “the other dark meat” was removed Thursday from YouTube, where the lawmaker had posted it last month.

Republican Rep. Bill Otto said he didn’t remove the video, titled “RedNeck Rap,” and didn’t know why it had been taken down. Google Inc., YouTube’s owner, could offer no explanation.

Otto said criticism of the video was unfounded. He said the hat’s saying, which he repeats at the end of the short video, refers to redneck stereotypes, not Obama.

The White House declined to comment Thursday, but Kansas Senate Minority Leader Anthony Hensley, a Topeka Democrat, called the video “disturbing.” He said it’s logical to see the reference as being to the first black president’s race.

In the video, Otto pauses after criticizing Obama and his policies, repeats the saying on the cap and adds, “A little greasy, but hey.”

    Bill Otto is my legislator!

He’s an idiot to the point every time he steps into the well of the Kansas House of Representatives there’s an audible groan from his colleagues.

    He’s a joke.

He lives in a town where the major industry is making beef jerky. He was fired from his career as a small-town Kansas rural high school because he was too crazy even for them.

Not surprising, really, that Bill Otto is “Regular’s” new hero.

    Okay, last one I promise.

What about Nome, Alaska – I mean all that melting sea ice and stuff.

    October 16, 2009
    High: 35°F Low: °F

Now, let’s check for that tropical heat up in 1998 according to the IPCc:

    High: 32 °F Low: 29 °F

Well, we found it! The warmest year on record was 1998 according to the IPCC!

    Oops, No wait…

The warmest year was: 49 °F in 1969 in Nome, Alaska, not 1998. It was 32 °F in 1998 in Nome, Alaska.

Beginning to see a pattern here?

Different cities around the world, temperature checks and none of them established record temperatures in 1998, the warmest year in 1998.

This is not a fluke for this date in October. This is a pattern that shows there has been no warming across the globe.

Do you think someone has been cooking the books on temperatures?

I know who they are and their initials are International Panel On Climate Change – the U.N. jerkwaters of pseudo science.

Has all fiscal discipline gone out the window and we’re now living in a country where trillion-plus dollar annual federal deficits have no consequences? Has this way of thinking permeated our entire culture, down to the local level?

The AGW fanatics also like to ignor the Southern Hemisphere where ice is at record levels.

“In the Southern Hemisphere, the ice which set a new record last winter is already increasing rapidly and is running nearly 40% ahead of where it was last year at this time. See the anomaly chart here. Below is the Southern Hemisphere ice extent graph.

Not surprisingly the global sea ice extent is above the long term average. Also not surprising that the alarmist PR machine picks this time to issue a release and Andy Revkin of the New York Times to blog on the report from World Mountain Glacier Monitoring Service, which is supported by the United Nations Environment Program, that the world glacial melting is increasing with no end in sight (report covers the years through 2006). They will return their attention to the arctic ice when the normal spring melt begins, ignoring once again the incredible ice happenings in the Southern Hemisphere.”

“At the end of the Arctic summer, more ice cover remained this year than during the previous record-setting low years of 2007 and 2008. However, sea ice has not recovered to previous levels. September sea ice extent was the third lowest since the start of satellite records in 1979, and the past five years have seen the five lowest ice extents in the satellite record.

NSIDC Director and Senior Scientist Mark Serreze said, “It’s nice to see a little recovery over the past couple years, but there’s no reason to think that we’re headed back to conditions seen back in the 1970s. We still expect to see ice-free summers sometime in the next few decades.” “

The global warmists have yet another embarrassment on their hands.

The Catlin Arctic Survey was the brainchild of British explorer Pen Hadow who organized an expedition to trek to the North Pole to highlight how global warming was melting the Arctic ice cap. But his quest was thwarted when Mother Nature responded with fierce winds, bitter cold temperatures, and just plain lousy weather which destroyed ice measuring equipment and hampered resupply efforts, which at one point, left the team close to starvation.

While the Hadow team was struggling on the ground, a German expedition was measuring thicker than expected second year ice from the comfort of an aircraft with advanced monitoring equipment. They reported that this second year ice was up to four meters thick, rather than the two meters they expected.

ahh yes, a truly remarkable record of accomplishments to be sooo proud of…

    Obama’s First Seven Months:
    Accomplishments

    1. Offended the Queen of England.
    2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia.
    3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega.
    4. Kissed Socialist Hugo Chavez on the cheek.
    5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia.
    6. Sided with Hugo Chavez and Communist Fidel Castro against Honduras.
    7. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions while they’re building their nuclear weapons.
    8. Gave away billions to AIG also without pre-conditions.
    9. Expanded the bailouts.
    10. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian.
    11.Doubled our national debt.
    12. Announced the termination of our new missile defense system the day after North Korea launched an ICBM.
    13. Released information on U.S. Intelligence gathering despite urgings of his own CIA director and the prior four CIA directors.
    14. Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they couldn’t take the heat.
    15. Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who identified military veterans and abortion opponents as “dangers to the nation.”
    16. Ordered that the word “terrorism” no longer be used and instead refers to such acts as “man made disasters.”
    17. Circled the globe to publicly apologize for America’s world leadership.
    18. Told the Mexican president that the violence in their country was because of us.
    19. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from the Department of Commerce.
    20. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expulsion to Cuba of a 9-year-old whose mother died trying to bring him to freedom in the United States.
    21. Salutes as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists who threatened one American life and the next day announces members of the Bush administration may stand trial for “torturing” three 9/11 terrorists by pouring water up their noses.
    22. Low altitude photo shoot of Air Force One over New York City that frightened thousands of New Yorkers.
    23. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure them that the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and that Israel might be on their own with the Muslims.
    24. Praised Jimmy Carter’s trip to Gaza where he sided with terrorist Hamas against Israel.
    25. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer billions in the process.
    26. Passed a huge energy tax in the House that will make American industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousands per year.
    27. Announced nationalized health care “reform” that will strip seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn’t. Bloomberg reports: Daschle says, “Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them,” while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says seniors have “a duty to die.” If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that the President, Senators and Congressmen have their own special gold plated health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their lives and they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

Railroad magnate, geology expert, adviser-to-God… ol’ “Regular” is a busy guy.

Yea, I told you that… Because what YOUR church means by that is FAR different from what OURS means by that… We offer an Invitation to Discipleship every week… AND, we have a celebration of the Lord’s Supper for all who believe at EVERY service…

Sorry REG…. There no Deist churches so far as I know… unless there is some small sect somewhere that I am unaware of…

THEREFORE, REG…. I AM NOT A DEIST… AND I AM STILL NOT GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT DENOMINATION I AM ORDAINED IN… BUT ON REFORMATION SUNDAY, I WILL BE OBSERVING MY 31ST ANNIVERSARY OF ORDINATION…

    Chas,

Were it me, I don’t think I’d waste my time trying to prove my credentials and qualifications to the naysayers on this blog. Regular, JimJohnson, American_Way, and others of their ilk are obviously under stimulated by real life so they come on here to push your buttons because that’s what those who are stuck in their juvenile mindset do.

If you really want to get under their skin, just ignore them. They’ll get even more obnoxious for awhile in an attempt to set you off, but eventually they’ll get bored and give up and move onto equally worthless endeavors.

Daniel, I know you are right… But their ARROGANCE combined with their IGNORANCE is totally uncalled for… ya know??

My tencil seems to be wearing thin. I’ve checked eBay for a replacement w/o any luck. Where do you all look online for tencil replacements?

    Chas preaches a lie.
He preaches the ‘world’ and not the ‘Spirit’.
Too bad, as there is a ’special’ place for those that lead others astray, away from the Spirit.
Who am I to day that, it’s not me but the Word of God that does.

    “Boxlock20″ whines –

“Darn double posts. It sits and sits and doesn’t show and then double posts. Geeze.”

I’m not the biblical expert you are but I suspect “Geeze” qualifies in some sects as “Taking the Lord’s name in vain.”

But, c’mon. A slow WE Blog server isn’t some grand conspiracy against you. It’s merely evidence you don’t know how the internet works.

Stick to your area of expertise. Keep working on your authoritative history of Thomas Jefferson’s presidency (January 20, 1777 to January 20, 1781).

You have more credibility in that area.

Much more credibility in that area.

    “geeze
    it is short for gee-wizz.”
    And how I meant it.

    “geeze
What one says when they are annoyed or insulted.”

Yes, it can be a slang for Jesus, but I would never use it as such, and since I am the one using it I am the one to know what it’s meaning is.

Again Monkey, you show no more awareness than the Chimp you so much remind me of. But instead you jump at he chance to ridicule someone that irritates you and that you have no power or control over making a fool of yourself again.
    Go away punk.

After ten minutes of it not posting, but simply waiting, one would come to the conclusion something was wrong with the system.
To double post is less objectable than not having it post at all. Except of course when it is a post from cosmos.
