AFP-Kansas and the Flint Hills Center for Public Policy are sponsoring a Wichita film screening for the documentary “Not Evil Just Wrong” as part of the nationwide premiere Oct. 18. This documentary reveals the true human cost of global warming alarmism, and its potential impact on our nation’s economy.

The Wichita showing will be at Wichita State University’s CAC Auditorium, beginning at 6:15 pm with a presentation entitled “An Atmospheric Scientist’s View of Global Warming,” by Mike Smith of Mike Smith Enterprises. He will present the global warming argument from both sides and will answer questions. The movie will begin at 7 pm, and will be followed by a brief discussion session, and an update on current cap-and-trade legislation.

To learn more about “Not Evil Just Wrong” and to see a trailer of the film, visit http://www.noteviljustwrong.com. To RSVP for the Wichita screening, RSVP to info@afpks.org or by calling 316-269-4170.

“AFP”= “Americans for Prosperity” a right wing group dedicated to protecting the wealthy.

    Got my reservations.

Interesting article at Salon.com about the outright lies and distortions by the forth estate during the Clinton years. What’s interesting is the comparison between then and now, and how the forth estate is devolving back to the slime they wrote back then. For the cons, who will be more than happy to write it off as a Liberal biased article, it recognizes the fact the media in general is guilty.

Heard last night bush’s former sec. of interior is being investigated for the same thing that brought the boeing tanker award down.
“Former Bush Interior Secretary Takes Job As Attorney For Shell

    By Todd Wilkinson, 12-27-06

Gale Norton is back providing oversight of energy development issues on public lands in the American West, this time as a key legal advisor for a major global oil company.

Months after she resigned her cabinet post as President Bush’s Interior Secretary—and then seemed to disappear from public view—the Coloradan apparently has accepted an offer to serve as counsel for Royal Dutch Shell PLC.

Shell, one of the world’s largest producers of oil, was also one of the companies that Norton’s Interior Department routinely engaged on matters of drilling in sensitive ecological settings.

According to Dow Jones Market Watch, which published her job announcement Wednesday, Norton will serve as general counsel for Shell’s unconventional resources division. By “unconventional resources,” a Shell spokesman said it pertained to emerging technology that targets such things as oil shale and extra heavy oil. Shell’s U.S. subsidiary, Shell Oil Co., is based in Houston, but Norton will be allowed to render her legal expertise from Denver.

The timing of Norton’s career move is certain to raise eyebrows from government watchdogs and environmental groups that long have asserted that Norton, her former deputy at Interior J. Steven Griles, Vice President Dick Cheney through his national energy strategy task force, and Congress gave energy companies preferential treatment by opening up coastal areas as well as western and Alaskan lands to increased oil, gas, and coal development.

I favor sending troops to Afhanistan simply to keep the military busy. If they have a good war to fight they won’t be plotting a military coup. Plus the generals and the CIA will establish some pretty good connections so the flow of heroin into our cities won’t be interrupted.

Well, this couldn’t be forseen, could it?
    —–

Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) — President Barack Obama’s effort to lead the world economic recovery by spending the U.S. out of its recession is undermining the dollar, triggering record commodities rallies as investors scour the globe for hard assets.

As threats of a financial meltdown fade, the currency is falling victim to an unprecedented budget deficit, near-zero interest rates and slow growth. The dollar is down 10 percent against six trading partners’ legal tender in Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s first eight-and-a-half months, the sharpest drop for a new occupant of that office since the Reagan administration’s James Baker persuaded world leaders to boost the deutsche mark and yen by debasing the dollar in 1985. This year’s drop followed its best two quarters in 16 years.

“The dollar had been strong because the U.S. was a haven in the storm, and now that the storm is abating, who needs the dollar?” said Edmund Phelps, who won the 2006 Nobel Prize in economics and teaches at Columbia University in New York. “People got exasperated with the tiny returns on safe assets.”

    http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a7mHS_OElufk

    =====

Couldn’t see this coming, could we? Get ready for inflation, as the dollar devalues even more.

Of course, it could be argued that is the goal; inflation allows the statists to pay off their massive debt with worthless dollars and gut the weath-generating parts of the economy simultaneously. Thus properly disarmed, those sectors of the economy are then primed for “bailout” (read ‘takeover’) and subsequent nationalization.

    Sound familiar?

And ran across this. Truer words were never spoken:
“The power of accuate observation is commonly commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.” – George Bernard Shaw

The warship is an amphibious transport dock ship that was built in Louisiana and named in honor of the victims of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It incorporates in its construction nearly eight tons of steel salvaged from the fallen World Trade Center towers.

Unfortunately, we are there, and we made serious promises to the Afghani people to gain their support for the war. We have to honor those promises. Now maybe you just don’t give a damn, but if we renege and run, the damage it will do to our national credibility would be enormous. You don’t need a training camp and a firing range to instruct radicals. All you need is a radical and others willing to listen. So no, in retrospect, the war was not just. It was just stupid. I must ask why, only a few years ago, I was wearing tin-foil when I was talking about this dollar destruction?

It has always been the plan. To milk the fat cow American for all he/she is worth, take their investments and destroy them, leaving America destitute, calling it the “ebb and flow of the market”.

This newest Wall Street “rally” is like Lucy resetting the football, giving Charlie Brown another go at it (stupid analogy, but real nonetheless) bringing whatever remained of the sap middle class-not-so-sophisticated investors’ savings into the cross-hairs.

Crises? We haven’t seen nothing yet.

Afterwards, we all will then, after a few years or so of starvation, deprivation and violence, clamor for “any help” that government will of course be able to offer. We’ll gladly and thankfully welcome whatever that have prepared to offer. I don’t have to mention what that help will be.

I was called a nut-case for the observations. The observations of white papers and memoirs and the general writings and correspondence of the elite on “both sides” of the stinking aisle.

The only…THE ONLY division is between all of us dummies. And we’re dummies by design. I was actually in disbelief this morning listening to Boortz. He spoke of the education system and the deliberate dumbing down of all of us. I’m used to half-truths from these people, but this time…he left mention of “left” or “right” out of the discussion and merely spoke of the industrialists. I could not believe it. Of course, after he left that discussion he went on to the usual left/right flag waving crud.

Read the free book “Underground History of American Education” here:

    http://www.johntaylorgatto.com/

    http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/

Understand that it is not a “left/right” issue to those who teach the teachers. We are indeed, “all in this together”.

Like monkeys, we’re trained to see left as right and wrong is right. We know it’s not either way, but we have no reasoning skills, exacerbated by the fact that questioning anything is looked at amongst “peers” as taboo and laughable.

The more pressure that we (those of us that do everything we can to expose it) apply to investigating the Federal Reserve, the faster these destructive actions against all of us will happen. You recieve the most flak when you’re over the target.

I’m positive that this too will bring on the laughs as well. But that’s fine with me. I still want to be free, so you have to want to also.

Someday, you’ll remember all of this “tin foil hat” crap that I’ve talked about and “get it”. Hopefully it won’t be too late.

    But to each his own.

Now we have the problem of getting out of both in such a way that it doesn’t damage every alliance we have or might have. Just packing up and going will do that, and our very fragile and newly reacquired national credibility will vanish in a heartbeat. Are you so anti-American that you’d do that?

To end the growing of heroin in Afghanistan to stop the funding of the Taliban.
Is the equal of if the Communist were trying to undermine the democracy in the United States and were funded by the wheat trade. And to stop it, you were to stop Kansas farmers from growing wheat.

For the farmer it is not about funding the Taliban it is about providing for their family.
The other crops they can grow is not in demand and will not provide for them.
Don’t get me wrong, heroin is a scorn on the human race and it should be ridded.

But short of someone providing for the infrastructure to transport, aid in the growing and the demand for another crop. Nothing else will be the providing crops for the Afghans.

Prior to 9-11 the United States did not have a problem with the Taliban.
In reality the only problem became they simply would not give up Al-Qaeda.
It was a case where they tradition would not allow them to rather then they were
    supportive of Al-Qaeda.

Afghanistan is the arm pit of the World, we would not have one care if not for Al-Qaeda.
There is no concern for it and it is rather silly the content refrain of we can not let
    Al-Qaeda have a safe-haven there!

Al-Qaeda has no inherent alignment to Afghanistan, they are not a Afghani organization.

“My mistake has been thinking that liberalism,or more properly, progressivism, is an ideology, as is conservatism. That is, an idea, based on facts and reason, useful for describing te behavior of a society, and the best manner of organizing that society. It isn’t. It has more in common with religion than anything else, complete with hierarchy, a rigid orthodoxy, excommunication for dissenters, and an intolerance for questioning.”

Legalizing drugs would take the sting out of most criminal activities.
But then it would also do more damage to this society then the Taliban could do.

Its not so much a moral issue as it is one of self preservation.

Blame Afghanistan and the Taliban on the British. The British Empire arbitrarily made borders between Pakistan and Afghanistan right in the middle of ancestral tribal regions of the two countries.

The tribesmen don’t recognize the borders in the mountainous regions in which they freely pass back and forth.

BTW, the western part of Afghanistan, most of Pakistan and part of India, is known as the old Indus Valley where a very early civilization began.

Anti, this stuff freaks me the F out. I just cannot believe that absolute delusion that is associated with this health care business.

I’m one that agrees and champions those want to have a living will and to have the plug pulled if it came to it. And hell, if your bent on suicide, there are a thousand ways to die, on your own, to each his/her own.

But to try and legislate it…no scratch that…to force it?

Any “law” that is contrary to the US Constitution is no law at all. It would be good to remember that. No amount of “lawyering” or legalese changes that fact.

This so-called health care that will be passed is not about helping anyone out, “left” or “right”.

    No, it’s just the opposite.

No, I said going into Afghanistan was idiotic. As was the last time we went in and then abandoned the people to the tender mercies of the Taliban.
Now we’re there, and find ourselves in the impossible position of either cobbling together some kind of coalition of the unwilling, or abandoning the people to the Taliban once again. Our allies are watching closely to determine if we honor our promises or not. If you’d rather be in a world without allies, then you’re on the right track. If you want to attempt to win this disaster and destroying our own country, that’s the other choice. Now we’re stuck. A small mission going after Bin Laden would’ve been the reasonable response to 9/11, but I suppose reasonable was too much to expect from republicans.

Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally “the database”, was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians. Inexplicably, and with disastrous consequences, it never appears to have occurred to Washington that once Russia was out of the way, Bin Laden’s organisation would turn its attention to the west.

it never appears to have occurred to Washington that once Russia was out of the way, Bin Laden’s organisation would turn its attention to the west.

    1. That’s because the Reagan-Bush Team only cared about destroying the old Soviet Union and the Eastern Bloc, not about real security for the United States.

They succeeded–leaving us massive debt, an empire of military obligations, and a triumphant Wahhabbi Jihad movement.

    2. Even that probably wouldn’t have been enough to motivate the Jihadis to attack the US except that Bush I (and Cheney as Sec’ry of War at the time) made one huge and unforgivable miscalculation–they did not withdraw the US troops from Saudi Arabia as promised when the first Iraq War had ended.

Why do you think they call it “Mecca?” It is the be-all and end-all for devout Islamists. They pray in the direction of Mecca five times a day . . . and now it has infidel troops “occupying” their Holy Land?

As a result, the Jihadis were beside themselves with rage. They attacked not only the US but also the Saudi gov’t.

And we’re left with a long, long anti-terrorist campaign.

Draino to the face, such a lovely religion…

    Fox News

NEW YORK — A New York bicycle cabbie who last year used his Web site to mock the beheading of journalist Daniel Pearl posted a prayer calling for the murder of Jews and exhorting Muslims to “throw liquid drain cleaner in their faces.” And there’s nothing authorities can do about it.

Yousef al-Khattab, who runs RevolutionMuslim.com and pedals a pedicab in New York City, insists the words he has posted on his Web site are a prayer, and not a threat — and that his hatred is protected by the First Amendment.

“If it was a threat, I’d be in jail,” the 41-year-old al-Khattab told Foxnews.com from his home in Queens. “I’m asking my God, that’s what it is. Every supporter of Israel is an enemy combatant and the immune system is not anti-Semitic for resisting disease.”

No, they are shining examples of cheats, thieves and liars. And that same congress that you mentioned, they’re also shining examples of the same.

All of us are the shining examples of dupes and fools.

Why is making money seen as a crime?

I know lots of friends that call themselves socialists. But I don’t know any of them that if handed a few million bucks, would give them up equally amongst strangers.

Every bit of money that was stolen through these bail outs, was voted on by us, right? I mean, if these politicians are voted in again, then the next bonuses that are due by the bankers…none of us have a bitsch in the world about them.

The proof would be in that they truly do represent us. Correct?

As for me…I’m thinking gallows, a mile long.

Now that it is blatantly obvious to nearly everyone that Iran intends to build and launch a nuclear weapon to strike either the “Little Satan” (Israel) or the “Great Satan” (USofA) or both, the Pentagon is scrambling to get new, more powerful bunker-buster bombs ready to take out Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Better take out their new missiles, too.
Meanwhile, North Korea is test-firing more new missiles, and likely selling weapons material and technology to terrorists.

Rev. Jesse Jackson said that Chicago Christian Fenger Academy High School student Derrion Albert was brutally beaten and stomped to death by a gang of black teenagers in the street in front of Agape Community Center because nearby Carver High School closed and reopened as a military academy, which somehow caused a rampaging gang mob to seek a hapless young victim on the street to murder in retaliation. Therefore, he rode a Chicago school bus on Tuesday, which will keep Chicago high school students safe in the future.
Meanwhile, Mayor Daley plans to spend $1 million on after-school jobs that will keep gang members busy flipping burgers instead of beating children to death in the streets.
Meanwhile, new safe schools czar and NAMBLA admirer Kevin Jenkins is intent on indoctrinating schoolchildren that men sodomizing young boys is normal.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, supposedly a Mormon cult member, clearly violated the separation of church and state during a meeting in his office with pro-sodomy organizers of the National Equality March, when he said that Mormon support for the Proposition 8 ballot measure in California last year was a “waste of church resources and good will” and “harmful for the church to focus on such a divisive issue.” The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution absolutely forbids federal lawmakers from attempting to interfere with the free exercise of religion in moral issues.
Christ spoke in favor of traditional marriage and against fornication and adultery, folks. He was right.

DHS head Napolitano said in a TV interview Monday that there are al Queda terrorists acting in the USofA today.
Well, DUHHH, ya think? We can well expect that, with border security still woefully lacking, and with idiotic federal authorities still welcoming in Arab Muslim men with criminal records from nations that harbor terrorists, on student visas which they quickly violate with impunity to go looking to purchase bomb materials.

Saturday’s New York Times included a front-page, above-the-fold news story that featured photos of babies slaughtered in abortions. One photo features a victim of a second-trimester saline abortion, wherein the infant thrashes in agony for 1 to 3 hours while a salt solution slowly and fatally burns the skin. Sometimes, saline abortion victims are born alive and survive a short while. At least one has survived to adulthood, though suffering from cerebral palsy caused by the botched abortion.

Eighth District Juvenile Court “judge” Larry Steele released a 17-year-old Vernal, UT girl from jail after ruling she did not commit a crime when she paid a man $150 to beat her in an attempt to end her seven-month pregnancy. The “judge” claims abortion is legal, whether contracting the killing of viable infants by abortionist quack or by hired thug. The girl’s boyfriend had threatened to leave her to coerce an abortion, making any subsequent abortion illegal because of the coercion.
The girl originally had entered a no-contest plea to a second-degree felony charge of soliciting murder and was sentenced to secure confinement in the custody of Utah Juvenile Justice Services until she is 21. She withdrew her plea after her mother sought a second opinion from shyster Rich King.
State Rep. Paul Ray, R-Clearfield, who sponsored a bill enacted this year that created a second-degree felony charge for performing an illegal abortion, called the girl’s actions “brutal and monstrous.”
This young monster is now amazingly seeking custody of the daughter that survived the brutal assault.

Goldman Sachs, which today reported its first quarterly loss since going public in 1999, lowered its rate with more tax credits as a percentage of earnings and because of “changes in geographic earnings mix,” the company said.

You keep raising the tax rate on a company, and that company will find a more tax friendly environment. It is a classic “Duh” scenario.

A 17-year-old Eagle Scout in upstate New York has been barred from stepping foot on school grounds for 20 days — for keeping a 2-inch pocketknife locked in a survival kit in his car.

Matthew Whalen, a senior at Lansingburgh Senior High School, says he follows the Boy Scout motto and is always prepared, stocking his car with a sleeping bag, water, a ready-to-eat meal — and the knife, which was given to him by his grandfather, a police chief in a nearby town.

    A Poisonous Cocktail
Peter Schweizer, 10.05.09, 12:01 AM EDT
    Expanding the Community Reinvestment Act.

As we try to shake off the financial crisis, here’s a bright idea. Take a law that has led to the writing of an enormous amount of bad mortgages and expand it. Then take enforcement away from bank examiners and give it to housing activists.

According to the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, in the first 20 years of the act, up to 1997, commitments totaled approximately $200 billion. But from 1997 to 2007, commitments exploded to more than $4.2 trillion. (Keep in mind this is more than four times the size of the current health bill being debated in Congress.) The burdens on individual banks can be enormous. Washington Mutual, for example, pledged $1 trillion in mortgages to those with credit histories that “fall outside typical credit, income or debt constraints,” and was awarded the 2003 CRA Community Impact Award for its Community Access program. Four years later it was taken over by the Office of Thrift Supervision. In 2004 Bank of America ( BAC – news – people ) agreed to provide $750 billion in CRA loans to applicants with poor credit who had previous difficulty obtaining a mortgage. By 2008 Bank of America was reporting that CRA loans represented only 7% of its portfolio but 29% of its losses. Numerous large banks are now in the middle of enormous CRA commitments. In 2004 J.P. Morgan Chase ( JPM – news – people ) agreed to provide $800 billion of such loans over the course of 10 years.

The CFPA will Be Another CRA x100 – Stop The Creation of Another Government Agency!

President Obama has been a staunch supporter of the CRA throughout his public life. And his recently announced financial reforms would make the law even more onerous and guarantee an explosion in irresponsible lending. Obama wants to take enforcement of the CRA away from the Federal Reserve, the FDIC and other financial regulators who at least try to weigh bank safety and soundness when enforcing the law, and turn it over to a newly created Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA). This agency’s core concerns would not be safety and soundness but, in the words of the Obama administration, “promoting access to financial services,” which is really code for forcing banks to lend to those who would not ordinarily qualify. Compliance would no longer be done by bank examiners but by what the administration calls “a group of examiners specially trained and certified in community development” (otherwise called community activists). The administration says, in its literature about the reforms, that “rigorous application of the Community Reinvestment should be a core function of the CFPA.”

The CRA is not about community development; it is, essentially, affirmative action in lending. Trillions in loans are now to be made not on the basis of whether they can be paid back but to meet CRA goals. This is precisely what we need to get away from. Drinking this potent cocktail would be dangerous to our financial health.

    ========================

Chas, I’ll use your term, ‘those people’, to answer your question. (Seems like you are being racist though, Chas.)

When their loan was closed, it was known that ‘those people’ couldn’t make their payments.

CRA mandated lenders make loans to ‘those people’ anyway, regardless of their credit or income.

So in effect, the Government CRA program created the situation we are in, where ‘those people’ will now face Foreclosure.

But, there is hope. The Obama Loan program will allow some modifications to existing loans, which will lead to a few more months for these people to not make their payments again, and face Foreclosure all over again.

  223. Posted October 13, 2009 at 8:20 pm | Permalink

Johnson was against the Federal Reserve before he was for it… heaven forbid if Johnson should see any “minorities” being able to get home loans… Why, before long, Johnson might even have some of those “minorities” as his neighbors!!

If that happened, then what would he do??

Obama’s solution then, to the Mortgage Crisis, is to do more of the same that led to the Mortgage Crisis in the first place.

Note the explosion in CRA lending from my link above:

“According to the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, in the first 20 years of the act, up to 1997, commitments totaled approximately $200 billion. But from 1997 to 2007, commitments exploded to more than $4.2 trillion.”

Chas, it doesn’t matter what color your skin is, if you can’t afford the house, then you shouldn’t buy it.

And the lenders should not be forced by Government to make a loan, which everyone knows will wind up in Foreclosure.

There’s a lot of folk of all skin colors, impacted by the stupidity of Government to force these loans to be originated.

And who gets blamed? Not Government. The Big Bad Banks get blamed.

Kerry wary of sending more U.S. troops to Afghanistan

    Tue Oct13, 2009 6:29pm EDT

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry, who will travel to Afghanistan and Pakistan this week, said on Tuesday he was “very wary” of sending more American troops to the region.

Minutes after getting off the phone to President Barack Obama about the issue, Kerry said neither of the two extremes — a nationwide counterinsurgency and nation-building effort in Afghanistan nor “walking away from the place” — were do-able.

“The key in Afghanistan is we have got to figure out what is achievable, measured against the legitimate interests of the United States, primary among which is al Qaeda,” he said.

“In Afghanistan itself we have to resolve the question of whether the Taliban are per se a threat to us.”

Kerry will meet the top U.S. and NATO military commander in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal, and said he had many questions for the man who has recommended a radical change in U.S. strategy there, backed by at least 40,000 more troops.

“I may decide that there is a do-able strategy that achieves the goals I set out, that requires some additional troops,” Kerry told Reuters in an interview.

“I don’t know the answer to that question. I honestly don’t. I am very wary of it because of past experience and because of some of the challenges that I see.”

    LESSONS OF VIETNAM

Kerry, who made his name in 1971 as a shaggy-haired, decorated veteran testifying to the Senate against the Vietnam war, says the lessons of that war suggest that more troops should not be sent to Afghanistan without a clear exit plan.

Obama Plays Johnson, Gates Plays McNamara, McChrystal plays Westmoreland in “Vietnam in Afghanistan”

    9/30/2009 by Gareth Porter,

WASHINGTON – In a remarkable parallel with a turning point in the Vietnam War 44 years ago, United States President Barack Obama will preside over a series of meetings in the coming weeks that will determine whether the US will proceed with an escalation of the Afghanistan war or adjust its strategy and reduce the US military commitment there.

The meetings will take place in the context of a request from General Stanley A McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, for 40,000 additional troops, which reached Washington over the weekend. That would bring the total US troop strength to 108,000 – nearly a 60% increase.

“In a remarkable parallel with a similar turning point in the Vietnam War 44 years ago, President Barack Obama will preside over a series of meetings in the coming weeks that will determine whether the United States will proceed with an escalation of the Afghanistan War or adjust the strategy to reduce the U.S. military commitment there.

“The meetings will take place in the context of a request from Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, for 40,000 additional troops, which reached Washington over the weekend. That would bring the total U.S. troop strength in Afghanistan to 108,000 – nearly a 60-percent increase.

“Obama has hinted at serious doubts about being drawn more deeply into the war in Afghanistan, and administration officials have signaled that a key issue is whether the proposed counterinsurgency war could be won.

“But the decisions that emerge from the coming meetings are more likely to be shaped primarily by the concerns of the military and of the White House about being blamed for a defeat in Afghanistan that now seems far more likely than it did just six months ago.

“In that regard, the approaching White House meetings recall similar consultations in June 1965, when President Lyndon B. Johnson and his civilian advisers responded to a request from Gen. William Westmoreland and the Joint Chiefs of Staff for a major troop increase in South Vietnam by discussing ways to limit the U.S. military commitment in South Vietnam.

“President Johnson, Secretary of Defence Robert S. McNamara and National Security Adviser McGeorge Bundy were all doubtful that the war could be won even with a much larger troop commitment.

“Johnson, like Obama today, also had an alternative to further escalation of the war – a proposal for a negotiated settlement from Undersecretary of State George Ball, which was strongly opposed by others in Johnson’s national security team, including McNamara.

“But a few weeks later, Johnson went along with an open-ended troop commitment in Vietnam because he was unwilling to face the likelihood of charges by the military that he was responsible for the loss of South Vietnam.

Johnson, FYI, the Greek in that Bible post you put up, has a catch line in it… But hey, dont take my word for it… Loo it up in your handy dandy desk top Geek New Testament…

    What it says is:

Forgive us our Debts(what we owe to God), in like manner as we forgive those who OWE US MONEY…(our debtors)…

So how often do you tell somebody who owes you money, to just forget about it…. It’s nothing… the DEBT is wiped out…

Given the way you dont want people to be able to save their mortgages, doesnt look like you would pass the forgiveness test….
