More to come from Comeback Kid?

clintonbillFormer President Clinton’s success as hostage liberator has columnist Al Hunt wondering whether the Comeback Kid will continue to be unleashed. “Could he play a bigger, broader role as a special envoy or troubleshooter on nuclear proliferation, China or any number of other challenges? Some Clintonistas already have visions of the new senior statesman of the world,” Hunt wrote. But that kind of role would seem to invite problems, given that Clinton’s wife is secretary of state and the former and current presidents are hardly close. “Publicly, the president praised Clinton,” Hunt noted. “Privately, the White House downplayed the importance of Clinton’s role, with a top National Security Council official trashing the former president on background.”

    I gotcha, “RoaCH” –

But it’s off limits to mention George WMD Bush’s Reign of Error.

    Thanks for clearing that up.

The irony impaired “RoaCH” gives us –

“Still stuck on Bush heh? Stuck in the past. Are you in Back to the Future?”

Since the blue dress incident was in the past, it’s a bit dishonest to whine about a mention of Bush.

Bill Clinton should be remembered as being one of the best Presidents right up there with the other icons. The nation did a real disservice by not electing Hillary, who would have been equally effective.

Regular see now you’re being dishonest. Kim Jong asked for Bill, specifically. It had nothing to do with Hillary.

Rhonda Holman has that one right. Monkeyhawk even proves it with his little statement, “But it’s off limits to mention George WMD Bush’s Reign of Error”

It seems like any time you mention anything about the current administration, all the left can seem to do is go back and whine over President Bush. Are you going to still be doing that 20 years from now? Get over it, you won and Obama is the president now.

It is one thing for the citizens to fall back and blame the previous presidency. But it is another thing to have our current government officials to do it. It is very childish and immature and very unprofessional when the current administration goes to whining about the previous administration.

What it proves, is that they are not willing to take the responsibility of the positions that they have been elected for.

Bush left the nation in a mess, and it will take awhile to fix it. Now I’m sorry if that fact bothers you but it is still factual.

Obama didn’t create this mess, Republicans did.

Now shut up while we fix it.

As I hacve said before who is to blame is not the issue. The issue is we are in a mess and working together is the only way we are going to change things. I’m willing to give a little for the coomon good. I am a free market person, but the reality is that since we are not perfecxt and in theory the free market is so we have to tweak and adjust things to get to where we all want to be.

Ok you’re someone I can work with. Now tell the others who just want to stomp their feet and be obstructionists to back off.

  23. Posted August 15, 2009 at 1:32 pm | Permalink

P_Mama, just because you say something is a fact, doesn’t make it a fact. And telling someone who disagrees with you to just shut up, shows everyone that you truly do not believe in freedom of speech.

That freedom is given to everyone and we Americans know it. What do you think these town hall meetings are all about?!

You say, “Now shut up while we fix it”. You sound like Obama who tells us all to just shut up so they can fix it. How are you going to fix it p_mom? Do you even know what it is that you are suppose to fix?

I’m not saying I’m going to send a death squad after you if you don’t shut up (sorry I’m not like the operation rescue terrorists). Its not like I’m asking a government mandate for you to shut up. I’m telling you that if you are not a part of the solution and continue to be lying obstructionists you SHOULD shut up. I know you won’t but that’s beside the point.

We are fixing the fact that insurance has long taken people’s lives for profit. We are fixing the government’s interest in defending our people’s lives.
