Actually he lost to ACORN. ACORN has a program designed to take over and elect the Sec of State in many states around the country. And guess who has control of elections in most states and says which votes are counted and recounted?

And this Sec of State did not allow some 200,000 votes to be counted, said they were invalid.

So, here is the result of another “long war”.

We need to make sure that ACORN is not allowed in this state. IF they are then need to be followed and watched at all times. And the same goes for anyone they help get elected.

They are an extremely dangerous organization.

Here in Kansas we need to eliminate the Governors position, office, mansion, highway patrol driver, jet plane, and mid-morning chocolate marshmallow snacks with tea.

DFB: I know the chances of improving Kansas government would be slim to none.

Actually, what I was proposing would be a State Manager or State Superintendent to replace the governor. Some of our previous Governors and a future Governor if Brownback would win are merely using our Kansas Governor’s office as a springboard for a higher job in Washington D.C.

I am proposing that our Kansas state legislature recruit and hire a “state manager” much like city managers and school superintendents are hired. As far as I know, Kansas would be the first state to do this. But I predict this is coming for a lot of states that are facing bankruptcy for poor business practices. This deal of having prima donnas as governors just doesn’t cut it any longer.

Wasn’t the perennial presidential candidate, Harold Stassen, also from Minnesota? I believe he ran multiple times for president as well as some other offices, Senate, maybe?

Seems like some of these Minnesotans just don’t like to quit?

Rhonda: Forget Minnesota … we need to worry about Kansas which is rapidly deteriorating.

Here in Kansas we need to eliminate the Governors position, office, mansion, highway patrol driver, jet plane, and mid-morning chocolate marshmellow snacks with tea. We don’t need to support a Kansas royal majesty who only participates in Kansas state government at arm’s length.

As a replacement, let the Kansas state senate (40 members) and/or Kansas house of representatives (125 members) choose the best person they can find, in or out of state government, to carry out the duties of the governor’s position until he loses the confidence of the two houses.

Also, add a Kansas Director of Finance to replace the archaic old positions of secretary of state, state treasurer, state insurance commissioner, state printer, etc. These positions no longer have much validity. The two legislative houses could also hire the Director of Finance.

Also require the director of the Kansas Department of Transportation to have degrees in business/public administration plus an engineering degree plus experience as a county engineer.

These changes would save the State of Kansas millions of dollars in wasted state taxes.
