Last week the Wichita Eagle’s blog speculated about a Tiahrt-Glickman rematch in a senatorial bid in 2010.

The Eagle’s blog posting mentioned that former U.S. Congressman Dan Glickman from Wichita admitted he was not a great fundraiser. So where might Glickman get money to run for U.S. Senate in Kansas?

Today, Andy Stern, the head of the 2-million member SEIU union that spent perhaps as much as $60 million to help elect President Obama, tweeted about his lunch meeting:

SEIU_AndyStern: Interesting lunch with Dan Glickman about the future.

This tweet already was noted by both the Politico and The Hill as possibly meaning Glickman may be pursuing a run for U.S. Senate in 2010.

Besides providing a huge amount of money to help elect Barack Obama president, SEIU money has flowed into Kansas for a number of years to help Kansas Democrats.

Will SEIU’s political money flow again into Kansas to help Glickman run for the U.S. Senate?

When he’s talking, you know he’s lying. Although in a letter to me he mentioned the cost was only $2,900, showing that he can’t keep his lies straight.

The MIT study showed the cost was under $300.

As Dan Glickman said he “likes Todd”.
