I wonder why anybody bothers to read Drudge, the guy can’t do honest reporting to save his life. Is he looking for a job at Fox?
He was busted lying about USDA purchases claiming they paid $1.2 million to buy a two pound ham. Never mind that it was 760,000 pounds of ham costing $1.50 a pound but Drudge and Tiahrt use the same fact checker.
http://rawstory.com/blog/2009/07/agriculture-secretary-rips-drudge-for-bad-ham-reporting/

Recovery Board Won’t Fix Ham Goof
By Aliya Sternstein 07/20/09 05:34 pm ET
The independent board overseeing stimulus spending will not correct information on Recovery.gov that indicates the government is paying more than a million dollars for two pounds of frozen ham, a spokesman for the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board said on Monday.
The blogosphere and WTOP reporters over the weekend and Monday morning joked that the government is apparently spending $1.2 million for “two pound frozen ham sliced,” according to a contract description on Recovery.gov, the official stimulus-tracking site.
Vice President Joseph Biden’s office on Monday called WTOP to clarify that the stimulus contract covers thousands of 2-pound packages of ham and dairy products for soup kitchens and food banks, according to the radio station.
But the board, which maintains Recovery.gov, said the Agriculture Department, which purchased the commodities, is responsible for getting the data right, not the board.
“We get this information from the agency and we’re not going to correct their information,” board spokesman Ed Pound said. “We’re not going to go in and clarify these summaries. We’re not going to fix it. I suppose if they send us a note to change it, we might.”
——————–
Drudge merely pointed out the absurdity of what was posted on a gov site. It appears there is an argument between the two groups responsible over who should fix this obvious error.
Maggot I can’t believe you blame Drudge for pointing this out. Must be hard to be a democrat late.
“okobserver” –
Drudge’s response (and, frankly, yours) is the equivalent of a spell flame on WE Blog.
Yeah, the excerpt from a clause in a contract should have been written more clearly.
But even you, “okobserver,” (yes, even you!) might have found something other than a $1.2 Million dollar 2-pound ham.
It smacks of desperation.

Whoo, good thing they’re spending $18M to fix the website. Customer service as good as this doesn’t come cheap…
‘Senate Minority Report on global warming not credible, says Center for Inquiry‘
http://www.grist.org/article/2009-07-20-senate-minority-report-on-global-warming-not-credible/
There’s behind-the-scene’s Kabuki Theatre going on in Kansas Republican Party politics these days. I’m getting call’s, e-mail’s and Tweets’s from people who think I’m either their friend or their foe who drop morsel’s of information, disinformation, tactic’s, strategies, rumor’s, red herring’s, cover-up’s, scanda$’ls and always, request’s for donation’s.
I haven’t donated a dime to the party or any candidate since last November. As it turns out, it seems the old way to get the attention of politician’s was to give them money. In this topsy-turvy battle between us traditional Republican’s and the fringe, I’m getting alot more attention than ever before now that I STOPPED contributing.
Everyone agrees Senator Brownback will be our next Governor. Except for Senator Brownback. He talks incessantly about how Hillary was a shoe-in for president about this time in the 2007-2008 election cycle.
He worries how Tiahrt and Moran will split the party if the primary gets nasty. Brownback is hitting us all up for money so as to suck it up before either Todd or Jerry can get it. He’s setting up 527’s with the Stauffer money so they can get independent media into the senatorial Primary Election.
On the Legislative level, there’s all sorts of stuff going on.
One rural legislator who is to say the least, colorful, talked my ear off the other day about some sort of Mark Parkinson Herb Philbrick conspiracy about how the 2010 session is the opportunity to get all of his agenda through. So can I give him some money?
I think this guy think’s I’m his friend. If he knew better he wouldn’t say the thing’s he says to me.
The one thing the Brownback people don’t want is for someone to rock the boat. They know Tiahrt’s base is their base. But they fear Moran’s base is necessary for them to secure a victory if Parkinson is faced with some of the really crazed elements in the Legislature who will debate for weeks some absurd pro-life bill.
A lot of people think Parkinson will stage a comeback on the basis of he needs to fight off the extreme wing of the Republican Party.
One kid in a Washington office said on the legislater who talked my ear off, “He’s likely to introduce an amendment requiring women who seek an abortion learn the tango before the procedure. We don’t need that.”
I’m on the cusp between middle and old age, I guess.
I remember walking the neighborhood when I was a kid, handing out I LIKE IKE buttons and brochures and saying “And he’s a Kansan!”
I’ve watched what we’ve went thru over the year’s.
I get melancholy over the fact that we don’t have people like Bob Bennett, or Norm Garr, or Huck Boyd, heading the Party anymore.

Yellowdog – funny! Everyone slips now and then with a misplaced apostrophe, swap of their for they’re, simple typo or uses the word irregardless…but 12 in one paragraph, that’s chronic. :)
Irregardless is a perfectly cromulent word.

Solid earnings reports and upbeat outlooks from big-name companies fed the latest round of optimism on Wall Street, pushing stocks higher.
Shares rallied in early trading Tuesday as Caterpillar joined other companies in issuing improved 2009 profit forecasts. Caterpillar is considered a bellwether of the global economy so its guidance was particularly encouraging to investors.

Does global warming diminish when measured accurately? Part 5
One group of workers in the field of climate change has managed to make global warming appear worse than we originally thought. This group includes Michael Mann, Eric Steig, Caspar Ammann and Stefan Rahmstorf. They are all also contributors to the Real Climate weblog, a compendium of global warming information that strongly supports the theory that humans are endangering the planet by emitting CO2 and warming the planet.
Starting in 1999, the gentlemen listed above and other contributors published a series of papers that questioned long-accepted reconstructions of past temperatures. They have recently published other papers implying that global warming is increasing in the Antarctic, and most recently, that recent temperatures have been climbing at or above estimates made as recently as two years ago.
What their work has in common (by that I only mean the papers that have generated controversy) is unconventional treatment of statistical analyses that produce unusual results which support their political position on global warming. They are accused of ‘torturing the data until it confesses,’

Actually, I was pointing out that soldevvb did not know (twice) what his own source wrote.
soldevvb does not even try defend his hero, Ian Plimer.
soldevvb also seems to incorrectly believe that Thomas Fuller’s newspaper column is more credible than scientific research.
The Antarctic data that says it’s warming is definitely fudged. It has been examined by many scientists and they won’t touch the conclusion with a ten foot pole now. It was a planned lie to fit an agenda.
O…K…. are you serious? I didn’t put that the phrase might have come from a review of a book by Pliner?

How can this be happening in America? This is awful! Liberals should do SOMEthing about this! We have millions of uninsured bodies in the United
States. Death is a part of life! Cremation and burial are a RIGHT!!!!
The taxpayers should pay this cost. It is terrible! We can tax the rich ($200K single/$250K
married) to pay for this basic human right. The other thing we can do is create a Funeral User Tax and collect a $10 funeral attendance fee from
all Americans attending funerals. After all, they are the ones using the resources. Every human being deserves to be handled with dignity in
death. We need the federal gubermint to step in, and democrats to lead in this effort. Don’t let the doubters and the naysayer’s stop this
emergency legislation. Don’t let the party of NO prevent this needed legislation from passing.
The entire US economy is dependent upon this legislation passing!
We cannot expect the poor, poor, people making 4 times the poverty level ($88K) or even five times to pay death expenses.

“The weak economy is taking its toll, with an increasing number of bodies in Los Angeles County being cremated at taxpayers’ expense.
July 21, 2009
The poor economy is taking a toll even on the dead, with an increasing number of bodies in Los Angeles County going unclaimed by families who
cannot afford to bury or cremate their loved ones.
At the county coroner’s office — which handles homicides and other suspicious deaths — 36% more cremations were done at taxpayers’ expense
in the last fiscal year over the previous year, from 525 to 712.
The county morgue, which is responsible for the indigent and others who go unclaimed, saw a 25% increase in cremations in the first half of this
year over the same period a year ago, rising to 680 from 545.
It’s a pretty dramatic increase,” said Lt. David Smith, a coroner’s investigator. “The families just tell us flat-out they don’t have the
money to do a funeral.”
Once the county cremates an unclaimed body — typically about a month after death — next of kin can pay the coroner $352 to receive the
ashes. The fee for claiming ashes from the morgue is $466.
Coroners and funeral directors around the country say they are seeing the same trend as cash-strapped families cope with funeral costs. Just
claiming a body from the L.A. County coroner costs $200. Once a body is claimed, private cremations usually run close to $1,000, Smith said. Funeral homes charge an average of $7,300 to transport and bury a body in a simple grave, according to the National Funeral Home Directors
Assn.
“No one is immune from this,” said Bob Achermann, executive director of the California Funeral Directors Assn. in Sacramento. “The economic
malaise we’re in is affecting everybody.”
American needs to socialize funerals.

One could a tax credit for cremation however…
Why does AmWay take a news story and then spin some wild made-up political rant about liberals? It’s really odd behavior.
“tax credit for cremation”
Bbbbut Regular – look at the price they charge for burning up bodies. It’s outrageous! One thousand bucks to push you into a burning fire pit. It doesn’t take a college degree to do that. Heck, Hitler used polish prisoners from the farmlands.
That’s way above the cost of inflation. We NEED gubermint intervention on the skyrocketing costs of funerals.
At the very least, we should have gubermint funerals to help bring down the costs. Without government intervention – and quickly, our entire economy will suffer.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Change you can believe in.
Yeah, right
I’m not saying to do away with private cremations. All I’m saying is we need a public plan which is affordable for all these poor souls.

We have to figure out the carbon involved in cremations… sequestering the carbon may be a better idea! OR!! Use them for carbon trading!!!

This is the guy in whose hands rests the social experiment affecting 300 million Americans healthcare:
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, July 21, 2009
As liberal protesters marched outside, Sen. Max Baucus sat down inside a San Francisco mansion for a dinner of chicken cordon bleu and a
discussion of landmark health-care legislation under consideration by his Senate Finance Committee.
At the table on May 26 were about 20 donors willing to fork over $10,000 or more to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, including executives of major insurance companies, hospitals and other health-care
firms.
“Most people there had an agenda; they wanted the ear of a senator, and they got it,” said Aaron Roland, a San Francisco health-care activist who paid half price to attend the gathering. “Money gets you in the door. The only thing the other side can do is march around and protest
outside.”
As his committee has taken center stage in the battle over health-care reform, Chairman Baucus (D-Mont.) has emerged as a leading recipient of
Senate campaign contributions from the hospitals, insurers and other
medical interest groups hoping to shape the legislation to their
advantage. Health-related companies and their employees gave Baucus’s political committees nearly $1.5 million in 2007 and 2008, when he began holding hearings and making preparations for this year’s reform debate.
Many former Baucus staff members, including two chiefs of staff, lobby on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry and other health-care players and have been closely involved in negotiations on the legislation.
But Baucus, a senator from a sparsely populated and conservative Western state who is serving his sixth term, stands out for the rising tide of
health-care contributions to his campaign committee, Friends of Max Baucus, and his political-action committee, Glacier PAC. Baucus collected $3 million from the health and insurance sectors from 2003 to 2008, about 20 percent of the total, data show. Less than 10 percent of the money came from Montana.
Examples from Baucus’s Glacier PAC include $5,000 from the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and $2,500 from lobbyists with
U.S. Strategies, which represents numerous health-care firms. Overall, half of the $110,000 in donations to the PAC from April to June came
from health-care firms and lobbyists, including Schering-Plough, Medtronic and New York Life.

The libs have a fuqking crook doing their bidding.
(On the bright side – BJ will not get his public health insurance policy, which would compete with the Baucus bloodmoney.)
Outsource the cremations to India and China.
Give out Gov. coupons for ‘Burn One, Get One Free’….Paid for by the printing presses.
And to demonstrate that I am an equal opportunity hater of congressional bribes and pork:
“The sector gave nearly $170 million to federal lawmakers in 2007 and 2008, with 54 percent going to Democrats, according to data compiled by
the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks money in politics. The shift in parties was even more pronounced during the first three months
of this year, when Democrats collected 60 percent of the $5.4 million donated by health-care companies and their employees, the data show.
Grassley, the Finance Committee’s ranking Republican, received more than $2 million from the health and insurance sectors since 2003. House Ways and Means Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) took in $1.6 million from
the health sector and its employees over the past two years; ranking Republican Dave Camp (Mich.) received nearly $1 million.
Jerry Flanagan, a health-care analyst with Consumer Watchdog, a California-based advocacy group, said the tide of campaign contributions
amounts to “a huge down payment” by companies that expect favorable policies in return. “That is the cold reality of big-money politics,” he said.
“Outsource the cremations to India and China.”
NAFTA? No one in North America can burn bodies?
I’m not sure which nations signed the Kyoto Accords and would be burning with the fewest carbon footprint.
Phony teabaggers, Brownback and Roberts, vote to include $1.75 billion in spending for F-22 jets the military doesn’t want and doesn’t need.
Thankfully they failed in their effort to waste taxpayer money. So when Brownback and Roberts whine about excessive wasteful spending just keep in mind they are really in support of it, when they think nobody is looking.

Not exactly true. Libs are attacking libs because Baucus isn’t liberal enough! Baucus is not supporting all the far left agenda. But remember, even Obama said he didn’t need a public healthcare plan.
The extreme left will be disappointed if anything less than full socialism is adopted.
Here’s what one democrat leader says about the attacks on Baucus:

Democrats running ads against Democrats.”

It’s a sad day in California.
“SAN FRANCISCO — Keep that towel handy. California parks officials can enforce a ban on nudity at any state beach, even in areas that have been informally designated as “clothing optional,” a state appeals court says. The new policy will take effect immediately, although officers will decide whether to warn, cite or arrest violators, said Roy Stearns, spokesman for the state Parks and Recreation Department.”
As a young Marine, my buddies and I spent a day or two at Blacks Beach north of SDIEGO. Flexing the muscles on our tanned bodies. “Hey! Anyone want to play volleyball!?”
Today I was unwittingly granted a front-row seat at the Theatre of the Absurd. No, it wasn’t quite as bad as grimacing and bearing the first 60 minutes of “Bruno”. No, I was mercifully spared the malevolent members swinging like lariats and spewing venom.
So, it probably wasn’t the worst thing I’ve endured during the past several months.
However, today I found out that driving a car with a slightly cracked windshield is against de law. Yep, Big Bad Bertha got stopped for this
s–t. And I couldn’t f–king believe it…….
Gotta break this up again – those censors haven’t relented lately…….
“Sir! Why are you stopping me?” I demanded with a trace of temerity. “What did I do?”
“You didn’t do anything, hon; you just have a cracked windshield!” the avatar of altruism responded.
Suffice it to say the FilmFan held her tongue. If ya swear at an officer of duh law – yer gonna spend some time in Scottie Roeder’s environs. And that’s something I’d like to assiduously avoid.
But I sweetly inquired about how there are “so many criminals” in this city – and they’re stopping me for THIS mini-offense?”
Thankfully, Sir Galahad didn’t give me a ticket. But I’m supposed to get this s–t fixed.
What the freakola? I just got laid off from one of my jobs; I got a $385 bill from Wesley for my energency room visit on May 28; and I’m supposed to be able to afford this crap?……..

“Do you know how much a new windshield COSTS?” I demanded?
I then had to sit there like a doofus while the dude checked my driver’s license and insurance. Of course, BBB’s got no criminal history – so the nice gentleman let me go.
But the day wasn’t over yet………
I then trotted on over to Wal-Mart to fill a scrip. There was a REALLY, REALLY long f–kin’ line – with only one forlorn clerk working it – so the FilmFan has some time on her hands.
And that’s not always a good thang….
While standing in the interminable line, I looked to my right. Assailing my tender, uninformed retinal cavities were “male products” – as in prophylactics. Having never been, um, “exposed” to these delicate delicacies, I was sort of, um, oh, I don’t know – not really curious, but forced out of necessity to pass the time.
All I can say is – I feel for men. I feel for women. But I feel even sorrier for those afflicted with icky-awful diseases because their infected partners were too lazy and/or too hedonistic to use these off-putting things.
I remember my ex’s words in late 1974: “I hate usin’ them thangs ’cause they take away the feelin’!” Largely (or minuscule-y – to be more accurate) because of this distaste, I became pregnant in December of that year.
But a serial rapist probably isn’t the best moral arbiter of this s–t. I just find it unattractive in concept. I’m an aesthetic chick, and I’d feel like I’d be intimate with a latex invention – not a may-un.
And if that’s how Big Bertha feels, imagine how the bearer/wearer must feel.
Ooh.
But the absurdities weren’t concluded – not just yet…….
Observing the theatre of the mildly skin-crawling propelled me to more pungent dislikes.
I couldn’t help but think….if Randall Terry moves to our fair shores, he’s probably going to continue his “alleged” extracurricular “activities”.
Now, the FilmFan’s 50 years old, barren of womb, not-very-perky of breast and acerbic of wit, so the ultra-ugly anti-abortion avatar wouldn’t bother me. But….
Young women of Wichita – beware.
Oh, yes – I can see and hear it now: He’s gonna continue his bombastic writings and all but comparing himself and his legacy to Camelot.
Yeah, right, mofo. The only thing you and Camelot have in common is that you both came.
A lot.
And that’s the FilmFan’s benediction for today……

American taxpayers could end up spending as much as $23.7 trillion in bailing out the financial system, but the U.S. government isn’t
disclosing with enough transparency how the money is being spent nor how the investment is performing.
That is the conclusion drawn by Neil Barofsky, the special inspector general of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), who is set to
testify Tuesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
Barofsky is most critical of the U.S. Treasury in a quarterly report to Congress, set for release today. He says Treasury has refused to provide
him information on the financial performance of taxpayers’ investments.
The department, he says, has “repeatedly failed to adopt recommendations” that “are essential to providing basic transparency.”
MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES
SUBJECT: Transparency and Open Government
My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public
trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote
efficiency and effectiveness in Government.
Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is
doing. Information maintained by the Federal Government is a national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action, consistent with
law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should
harness new technologies to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public.
This memorandum shall be published in the Federal Register.

Sorry bud, I saw through your temperature chart. It’s an old trick of using a non-coplanar set of point if reference to a coplanar points and make them appear to be statistically contiguous.
Filmfan, here’s my advice go court and set a trial date if the cop doesn’t show your ticket will get dismissed and if he does show did he take pics? if not whats his evidence. If that’s too much have a friend write you up a receipt and get it dismissed that way.
Thank Gawd! ;-)
FilmFan: You may have an option with the hospital bill. If it were at a Via Christi Hospital you could apply for hardship aid and most likely get it written off. I’m not sure about Wesley since they are officially a “for profit” hospital. But it would be worth a try. At worst you should be able to set up a payment plan.
Wichita Transit Route Changes
Date: July 16, 2009
Contact: Steve Ainslie, Asst. Director of Transit
Goal is to improve on-time performance
Wichita Transit officials on Monday announced upcoming changes to six routes following two years of increased ridership and surveys designed to improve punctuality performance.
Beginning July 27, the six routes are: College Hill, East Central, East Harry, North Waco, Southside Connector and West Central routes will change.
Transit has maintained a 17% ridership increase over the past two years, adding 332, 914 riders. The ridership growth made it more difficult for buses to stay on schedule and for passengers to make on-time connections at the downtown Transit Center.
“Wichita Transit has made minor route adjustments that will improve on-time performance,” Steve Ainslie, Assistant Transit Director, said.
For more information about route schedules and transit services, visit the Downtown Transit Center at 214 South Topeka or http://www.wichita.gov or call the information line at 265-7221.
Eric J. Toder, a tax economist at the Urban Institute, said “I really do not understand the politics of trying to sell health care reform, which is supposed to be for the benefit of the vast majority of Americans, and saying it should be paid for only by people making over $1 million,”
Mr.Toder said. “If it’s worth doing, and I think it is, more people should be willing to pay for it.”

Is this a sign of the times – or a sign of things to come?

Connecticut Democrats were accused of “an attack on the middle class” for seeking a tax increase.
In Illinois, Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn recently cited the Bible to support an income tax hike he said was needed to avert painful cuts. “Amos the Prophet said, ‘Woe to those who afflict the poor.’ We’re not going to afflict the poor in Illinois. We’re not going to afflict anyone,” Quinn said. “We believe in helping our neighbors.”

Investigator rules against Palin in ethics probe
By RACHEL D’ORO (AP) – 2 hours ago
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An independent investigator has found evidence that Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated ethics laws by trading on her position as she sought money for lawyer fees, in the latest legal distraction for the former vice presidential candidate as she prepares to leave office this week.
The report obtained by The Associated Press says Palin is securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, set up by supporters.
An investigator for the state Personnel Board says in his July 14 report that there is probable cause to believe Palin used or attempted to use her official position for personal gain because she authorized the creation of the trust as her legal defense fund.
The practical effect of the ruling on Palin will be more financial than anything else. The report recommends that Palin refuse to accept payment from the defense fund, and that the complaint be resolved without a formal hearing before the board. That allows her to resolve the issue without a formal ethics reprimand.
Palin posted an entry on Twitter in which she said the “matter is still pending,” a statement echoed by her lawyer.
The fund aims to help Palin pay off debts stemming from multiple ethics complaints against her, most of which have been dismissed. Palin says she owes more than $500,000 in legal fees, and she cited the mounting toll of the ethics probes as one of the reasons she is leaving office on Sunday.
Kristan Cole, the fund’s trustee, said organizers have frozen the fund pending the personnel board’s review. Politicians are routinely allowed to have such funds to pay off legal bills, but quirks in Alaska law can present ethics issues.
The investigator, Thomas Daniel, sided with Palin in her frustration with having to defend herself against a barrage of ethics complaints. He suggested that Alaska lawmakers may need to create a law that reimburses public officials for legal expenses to defend complaints that end up being unfounded.
Palin’s friends and supporters created the Alaska Fund Trust in April, limiting donations to $150 per person. Organizers declined to say how much it has raised, and had hoped to raise about $500,000. A Webathon last month brought in about $130,000 in pledges.
In his report, Daniel said his interpretation of the ethics act is consistent with common sense.
An ordinary citizen facing legal charges is not likely to be able to generate donations to a legal defense fund, he wrote. “In contrast, Governor Palin is able to generate donations because of the fact that she is a public official and a public figure. Were it not for the fact that she is governor and a national political figure, it is unlikely that many citizens would donate money to her legal defense fund.”
The ethics complaint was filed by Eagle River resident Kim Chatman shortly after the fund was created, alleging Palin was misusing her official position and accepting improper gifts.
“It’s an absolute shame that she would continue to keep the Alaska Fund Trust Web site up and running,” Chatman told the AP.
At least 19 ethics complaints have been filed against Palin, most of them after she was named the running mate for GOP presidential candidate John McCain. Most of those have been dismissed, and Palin’s office usually sends a news release with the announcement.
The multiple ethics complaints include an investigation by state lawmakers over Palin’s firing of her public safety commissioner in the so-called Troopergate scandal.
John Coale, a Washington lawyer who helped set up the fund, called the probable cause finding “crazy,” adding that if upheld, it would mean that no governor could ever defend themselves against frivolous ethics complaints.
“If this complaint is true, there’s no way to defend yourself” as governor, Coale said. “Anybody can keep filing ethics complaints and drive someone out of office even if you’re a nut.”
Coale said that unlike other states, Alaska’s governor has no legal counsel’s office to defend the governor from allegations brought against the governor in her official capacity.
Much ado about nothing BlueJay – getting a fund for legal defense has never been illegal or a violation of ethics.
Clinton had his own legal defense fund that was privately funded from wealthy supporters, some of them lobbyists.

OBAMA REALLY IS NOT A U.S. CITIZEN!!!!! See I am a U.S. citizen and I got out my birth certificate.
At the top it said “STATE OF KANSAS”, but when I looked at Barack Obama’s birth certificate it said
“STATE OF HAWAII”. SO that proves it, Obama is not a U.S. citizen!
Now I will research to see if it is these people are just kooks or does it have something to do with wearing red shirts?
Good thing Clinton wasn’t the Governor of Alaska at the time or he’d have found himself in even more trouble.
True enough, the way I understand it, the Alaskan Ethics law is quite archaic and has many loopholes which allow for frivolous accusations.
What may be the key here is for Palin to find a friendly judge intolerant of frivolous lawsuits. They can’t do much against the person originating the charges, but they can hold the attorney defending the accusation in court in a corner as most states have attorney conduct addressing frivolous lawsuits and charges.
I don’t think any attorney would want that on their record getting a misconduct motion from a Judge.

How to Plan and Build a Business Part-Time
Step1
Select a hobby you’d like to convert into a profitable business or a passion that you’d like to learn more about.
Step 2
Research, research, research. Read books and talk to people who have worked in the industry you’re considering.
Step 3
Get a sense of how much income you can make in the first year or two, and what kind of financial investment you’ll need to make.
Step 4
Prepare a plan to determine how much money you will need to make before you can quit your job, and how long it will take you to reach that goal.
Step 5
Be careful not to inappropriately use your employer’s time and resources for your own business.
Step 6
Avoid telling your boss before you are ready.
Step 7
Keep your standards of performance up to protect your primary source of income.
