World opinion of U.S. improving

World opinion of the United States is improving, according to a new Ipsos/Reuters global poll. Of 22 surveyed countries, which account for 75 percent of the world’s gross domestic product, respondents holding a favorable view of the United States increased 6 percentage points between November 2008 and April 2009. Our reputation increased by double digits in several countries, including Germany and Canada. Turkey was the only country with a dominant  Muslim population that was surveyed, and our approval rating there jumped 25 percent.

I bet if you did a survey, you would find that the US opinion of the US has improved.

Well, except among the greedy, narrow minded cons.

    “FTW.”

Sorry, Anti, but we can’t take the approach any longer. Whether we want to or not, we have to be a responsible member of the global community. We may be the preeminent military power in the world today, but that does not allow us to be dismissive of the rest of the nations on Earth.

    I know Clark.

That was my problem with Ron Paul. Although I wish we could just be our own Nation.

But it is just not the world we live in.

So now that Obama has solved America’s image problem overseas, and all foreign policy problems are solved, Obama can shift to solving all the domestic problems.

    1. America’s contribution to Global Warming.
    2. Health care for all Americans.
    3. A balanced budget.
    4. Raising taxes.
    5. Solving Social Security/Medicare Crisis.
    6. Fixing the unemployment problem by saving or creating enough jobs so that all Americans are employed.
    7. Ensuring inflation stays under 5%.
    8. Keeping interest rates low.
    9. Finding someway to power lightbulbs, provide heat and A/C, power industry or what is left of it.
    10. Curing Cancer.
    11. Curing Obesity.
    12. Curing Aids.
    13. Solving all crimes by taking guns away.
    14. Giving a house to every American.
    15. Giving a free GM car to every American.

We make nothing but food in America. American’s don’t want to pay for American Made High Priced Products, and complain about declining employment/low wages at the same time.

Course, Obama is solving all this. See how he’s saving so many jobs and bringing so much manufacturing back to America!

“Obama will deserve the credit that will be laid upon him after the nut job is voted out of the presidency in Iran.”

    Do you read much?

All four of the candidates for president of Iran had to be approved by The “One” in Iran, the Ayatollah. Sound like democracy to you?

The Ayatollah’s powerful Guardians Council had to approve these four men. The clerically dominated vetting body approved the candidacies of Ahmadinejad, former Prime Minister Mir Hossein Musavi, former parliament speaker Mehdi Karrubi, and former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps head Mohsen Rezai.

Rezai, a former commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards is among the five Iranian officials wanted by Argentina for their alleged role in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center. He is currently banned from entering the United States and The EU. Chief Commander for 16 years of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution One of his sons, Ahmad Rezaee, migrated to the United States, has spoken against the policies of the Iranian Islamic government, and accused his father and others of supporting terrorist acts.

Mehdi Karrubi was one of several radical clerics who founded the Association of Combatant Clerics party. He is a former chairman and founding member of the Association of Combatant Clerics party. The ACC was originally leftist or “radical” populist, rather than reformist, and favored a focus “on exporting the revolution and calling for the state’s monopoly over the economy,” rather than democracy and freedom of expression.

Mir-Hossein Mousavi is a member of the High Council of Cultural Revolution. The academia of Iran was purged of Western and non-Islamic influences to bring it in line with Shia Islam.
closed universities for three years (1980-1983) and after reopening banned many books and purged thousands of students and lecturers from the schools.[2] The cultural revolution involved a certain amount of violence in taking over the university campuses. The process of purification of the education system of foreign influences has not been without sacrifice. In addition to interrupting the education and professional livelihood of many, and striking “a major blow to Iran’s cultural and intellectual life and achievement” it contributed to the emigration of many teachers and technocrats. The loss of job skills and capital has weakened Iran’s economy.

And of course, you know the current prez of Iran. He is the one who called for the destruction of Israel and denies the holocaust took place.

You are hitting the koolaid pretty hard to believe the four candidates do not tow the religious party line. And please prove to me Obama had anything to do with it.

Right after you prove those 150,000 jobs.
