Voting against stimulus wasn’t enough for Tiahrt

tiahrtnewmug20Rep. Todd Tiahrt, R-Goddard, didn’t get far in an attempt Tuesday to roll back the stimulus bill. The House Appropriations Committee nixed it on a party-line vote. “Disguised as economic recovery, the so-called stimulus plan has miserably failed the American people,” Tiahrt said. “Quite simply, it has not worked. Consider that 1.5 million Americans have lost their jobs since the Obama stimulus bill became law, and then ask yourself why we should borrow money to fund programs that fail to perform.” He planned to try again in the full House. One wonders whether Tiahrt cares what his fellow Republicans in the Legislature would have had to cut from the state budget if not for some $1 billion in stimulus funds.

It’s not surprising Tiahrt is a moron. The stimulus program hasn’t even doled out all the cash yet, new projects are just about to start. Must be fun betting horses with Tiahrt. Two seconds out of the box he’s already declaring his horse a loser.

” The stimulus program hasn’t even doled out all the cash yet, new projects are just about to start.”

….and the Boy King is already claiming to have “saved or Created” how many jobs?

If Dear Leader can make the claim that it’s succeeding Tiahrt can claim that it’s failing.

Well hell, Tiahrt’s constituency is people who don’t actually work for a living.

    What? Cut funding? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Tiahrt is for the very thing the majority of American citizens say that want? How out of touch for a politician. Not.

The left just doesn’t get it on the blog but the left in America has latched on. The money is where exactly? If the stimulus was passed then unemployment wouldn’t go over 8% according to ‘the one’. It is now at 9.4%. Still waiting for the jobs saved or created.

And Blowjay we all know you didn’t vote for Tiahrt. Those voters would be the working people of Kansas who take care of themselves and not the ‘poor by choice’ who won’t work. So I guess you can say he represents the workers of the state.

So, as a good Repuke whose only political hope lies with the American economy getting worse, Barbie–sorry, Todd Tiahrt–does whatever he can to destroy the American economy. Except when it comes to funnelling taxpayer money to the military contractors who fill his campaign coffers.

CF as a good dim who votes their party line – until you clean out the Feinstein no-bid military contract gravy train you have absolutely no room to talk. So stop posting your unsubstanstiated rumors and get out your broom.

Plenty in the dim house to sweep out!

Why don’t you send over some of your prison labor force? I bet you haven’t laid hand to a broom for years.

Unless it was to fly it.

Tiahrt thinks you should’ve let the economy completely collapse, then rebuild it (probably in three days!), from the bottom up.

Wonder how those thousands of former cessna employees feel about Tiahrt trying to cut off their life lines?

You mean like the great savior Obama telling the ceos of Cessna and Hawker Beechraft “we don;t care about your problems, you make toys for Rich people?”

Actually, it wasn;t the President, it was his staff. Maybe the PResident didn;t know.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Tiahrt accomplished exactly what he set out to do. He knows there will be no repealing of the bill because even if it did go to his desk (very longshot) Obamo would veto it. Tiarht is merely trying to show all American people and not just Kansans that the bill is not delivering what was promised. Why pay for ads to do that when you can attempt to over ride the bill and get the media to spread the message for free?

    Gee…

If only there were an industrial infrastructure in Wichita with the ability to harness the power of the wind.

Then we could build those wings that drive turbines for all of those wind farms to come.

    Darn the luck.

WICHITA – Cessna Aircraft Co. will reduce its work force by another 1,300 people, the company told employees this morning.

Including the cuts announced today, Cessna has cut staffing by 8,200 people since November.

Well it looks as if Tiahrt is right on target. We have spent trillions and where is it. Repaying political favors for electing the messiah.

How is that change working for the dims now. Bet you won’t find many from Cessna workers that like what he is doing for them.

It appears ‘hope’ and ‘change’ are only for the demwitted ones.

One wonders why Kansas is only getting 1 billion in Stimulus Money. Heck, we could sure use 500 billion to pay for everything we can ever dream of. Hey, make that 1000 bazillion for things we have not thought of yet. It is for the children and for jobs after all. We need to spend money so we can create jobs.

Since “spending is stimulus”, then the higher the spending, the higher the stimulus. That’s it, we’ll take one bazillion squared unless you have a higher number to offer.

Seriously, why just stop at a mere 1 billion when requesting Stimulus Funny Money from the Federal Government? We can borrow 100 times that and then have a conference on Fiscal Responsibility to show that we care about keeping government debt low.

Wow. If only he’d shown that kind of concern when old George tanked the employment rate in his first term.

Thank God and Greyhound, they’re both gone . . .
