Positive about Wichita

Good for ROK ICT for putting out a positive video about life in Wichita in response to the murder of Wichita abortion provider George Tiller. The arts group was concerned about a possible negative perception about Wichita based on the murder. So it produced a video, which is posted on its Web site and YouTube, in which various young musicians and artists speak about how great it is to live in Wichita and be part of the arts community here. They talk about how much there is to do in Wichita, the many friendships they’ve formed and how friendly the people are.

That’s the spirit! Don’t let these old, curmudgeons that talk about ‘blood on your hands’ get you down.

See Libs? It takes our young people to show you the way.

Get real people. The world does not revolve around
Wichita Kansas. Most news reports aren’t even mentioning the cities name. It is not material to the event.

And no one NO ONE outside the distance for a day trip, is coming to Wichita for a vacation, shopping, or the arts.

Most Americans couldn’t find Wichita on a map if you put a red circle around it!

I know many of the people in in the video and actually they are libs. But kudos for trying to show Wichita in a positive life. Future growth; economic, cultural etc. is dependant on Wichita being known for more than dead abortion doctors, BTK and Tornadoes

    I love living here.
I think our citizens are possibly overreacting to any national stigma over the Tiller event, myself included.
As a transplant, I’ve talked to no less than a dozen friends in different parts of the country the last few days, all had heard of the death of Dr. Tiller but none knew it where (meaning the city) it took place.

Dr Tiller was one of Wichita’s only bright spots. Women who needed help came here.

Not much of anything else drawing people to this hole.

There are two other late term abortion clinics where you can partake in your death fest activities for your personal pleasure.

“The death of George Tiller has made Wichita a famous city. We are finally on the map!!”

Interesting idea now that I think about it. What the shootout at the OK Corral did for Tombstone,AZ or the Aces & Eights dead mans hand did for Deadwood, SD.

Now we need a catchy phrase to capture the hearts of America’s tourists… Hmmmmm…….

We could find the Tiller Home and buy it for a historical site.

Put a sign over the door:

“Tillers abortions – you rape em he scraped em”

Then buy the city morgue and do the same thing:

“City Morgue – You kill em we chill em.”

Not sure those are good enough for national prominence. Need something catchier….

I believe in forward thinking. Planning ahead is important. Will the mayor be speaking at the service? Perhaps someone can slip him a catchy phrase for posterity.

Something the city can capitalize on.

Something like “when life gives you fetus’s make stemcellaid.

    ROLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You hear this Wichita!!!!!!!!!

Tiller was the only reason for anyone to come to Wichtia!!!!!!!!

    (Farting and Laughing loudly now!)

Women who needed help came here.

Now, BJ will no longer be able to prey on the desparate women lining up at Killer Tillers.

    Picture this:

BJ, lurking in the bushes, his Quasimoto hump being hidden by the darkness, drueling at the site of easy prey outsid of Killer Tillers office.

    BJ, one question.

Did you jump them before or after the abortion, or both?

Did the Tiller Clinic really attract that many people to Wichita?

I mean, is or was there a hotel and entertainment provided? Amusement rides? Fantasyland, Adventureland, Futureland, and even a Haunted House?

    Darn.

I missed out on all the fun.
