Leave it to the US Chamber of Commerce to try to ruin the economy. They figure that the stimulus money should be used to stimulate the economies of foreign nations, so America can save billions. I’m supposing they are forgetting that the purpose of the stimulus is to invest in America and create jobs, not line their pockets. However the Chamber leans heavily Republican and we all know that Republicans aren’t terribly bright when it comes to economic issues, just look at the stupid comments Tiahrt is making.

Concealed Carry: If You’re Interested in Preventing Hate Crimes, Let’s Stop them Before They Happen

Twenty-five years ago, Tom Palmer and a male companion were threatened by a group of 20 or so young males on an empty street in San Jose, California. The group shouted anti-gay epithets and made death threats.

Palmer and his companion ran, and the attackers gave chase.

No Naval Swords for U.S.N.A. Graduation this year – Threat to the Dear Leader Inside the Beltway – Washington Times

No Weapons for Anyone

From today’s you couldn’t make it up if you tried file…….Obama’s protectors have ordered graduating Midshipmen….and I suppose Commissioned Officers through Flag rank…to leave their swords at home. Full Dress White includes “wear sword”. More to the point…those badges of office have been earned in a manner Obongo and his minions just wouldn’t begin to understand. Important traditions that inspire are kind of lost on the red banner crowd, apparently.

Further, ceremonial swords never seemed to bother the Secret Service for any previous President. And before World War II, the swords were not particularly “ceremonial”, I’ve seen some of those blades, boarding actions did occur on the China Station pre-war against river pirates, warlords, etc. Those swords were worn not just to graduation, but to Inaugurations, in the receiving line at the White House afterward, to the Inaugural Ball. Somehow nobody gave it a second thought. Somehow even Presidents in the past didn’t presume to specify items of uniform.

But of course, what worked for Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan, F.D.R., the Bushes, T.R., any other rational non-cult leader…..doesn’t work for this former state senator anointed by the Chicago machine.

The Feel-Good Story from Yesterday

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Ten-year-old Kennedy Corpus has a rock-solid excuse for missing the last day of school: a personal note to her teacher from President Barack Obama.

Her father, John Corpus of Green Bay, stood to ask Obama about health care during the president’s town hall-style meeting at Southwest High School on Thursday. He told Obama that his daughter was missing school to attend the event and that he hoped she didn’t get in trouble.

“Do you need me to write a note?” Obama asked. The crowd laughed, but the president was serious.

On a piece of paper, he wrote: “To Kennedy’s teacher: Please excuse Kennedy’s absence. She’s with me. Barack Obama.” He stepped off the stage to hand-deliver the note — to Kennedy’s surprise.

“I thought he was joking until he started walking down,” Kennedy said after the event, showing off the note in front of a bank of television cameras. “It was like the best thing ever.”

The fourth-grader at Aldo Leopold elementary in Green Bay already knew what she was going to do with the note: frame it along with her ticket to the event. She said she’d make a copy for her teacher.

Kennedy said she had never seen Obama before. “He’s really nice,” she said.

maggotpunk: The buy American concept was meant to buy North American for the economies of Canada and the US are so intertwined that to exclude them risks our ability to export more to one place, than we do to all of the EU. Or in another way, more to Canada than China, Japan, France, Mexico, Germany and the UK combined. When it was noticed that some pipe made Canada was ripped up from a site because it wasn’t made in the US, they responded with a resolution by Canadian mayors to ban American imports. Canada is the largest customer for 35 states and their relatialtion will hurt, reports of cancelled order for pumps, construction equipment and electonics are already being felt by American manufacturers and there is also a move to levy a surcharge/export tax on all energy exports, hydro, natual gas and oil and then recind their $13 billion offer to the US carmakers as part of Obama’s bailout package. That WILL hurt. Currently there is a slight advantage in the balance of trade favoring Canada, but that is mostly overvalued energy costs. In manufacutred/machined goods and services America enjoys a huge surplus. Mexico or China, Canada ain’t. Their banks are in fine shape, the place has been running suspluses for years and can weather any trade war we start. I know these folks, they generally are slow to anger, but if the G&M and other papers are accurate, they are now.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ron Paul’s Federal Reserve Transparency Act, HR 1207, has reached and surpassed the level of 218 cosponsors in the House of Representatives, which means it is now cosponsored by a majority of the members.

The 218th cosponsor was Dennis Kucinich (OH-10), and the bill has since received its 222nd cosponsor.

“The tremendous grass-roots and bipartisan support in Congress for HR 1207 is an indicator of how mainstream America is fed up with Fed secrecy,” said Congressman Paul. “I look forward to this issue receiving greater public exposure.”

Hearings on Federal Reserve transparency are expected within the next month, as part of the Financial Services Committee’s series of hearings on regulatory reform.

OK this is another one of those its not a lie but neither is it a whole truth. Yes the policy of prohibiting the swords is in effect. BUT it has nothing to do with Obama. It has been in effect since after 9-11.
Here is the write up and I agree that Obama should resend it.
But it was not because of Obama or his protectors.
But then the truth is not a good weapon at times so lets make up a lie and hope no one actually check for the truth.

If you saw “http://washingtontimes.com/news/2009/may/21/inside-the-beltway-97423759/” about how midshipmen’s ceremonial swords were on the prohibited list for graduation ceremonies, you were probably not pleased about it. Neither was I – but I checked with the Public Affairs office for the Naval Academy, and they informed me that this policy was put into place in response to 9/11. It is, bluntly, a stupid policy – if our midshipmen cannot be trusted to not assassinate the President, we’re in much worse trouble than we thought – but it’s also not the administration’s fault.
I encourage President Obama to change this policy and give his officers their swords back. We are citizens of a Republic, after all – they are not subjects, and he is not a king

“LONDON (Reuters) – An African detainee held at the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo Bay since he was a teenager has been released without charge after more than seven years in captivity, his lawyers said on Thursday.

Mohammed El Gharani, a Chadian citizen, was freed five months after a U.S. federal judge ordered him released having reviewed the evidence against him and ruled that there was nothing to suggest he was ever an “enemy combatant.”

Lawyers for Gharani said he was the youngest detainee to be released from Guantanamo, having been seized in 2001 when he was 14.

But the Pentagon disputes his age, saying they believed he was now 23, and that there were others held at Guantanamo Bay over the past seven years who had been younger.

“Our records indicate that he is 23 and that he arrived at Guantanamo when he was 16,” said Navy Commander Jeffrey Gordon, a Pentagon spokesman. He said there was no birth certificate for Gharani but that his age had been established “by other means.”

Obama ousts AmeriCorps’ IG who investigated friend

By ANN SANNER and PETE YOST, Associated Press Writers Ann Sanner And Pete Yost, Associated Press Writers – 1 hr 21 mins ago

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama says he has lost confidence in the inspector general who investigates AmeriCorps and other national service programs and has told Congress he is removing him from the position.

Obama’s move follows an investigation by IG Gerald Walpin finding misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group led by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who is an Obama supporter and former NBA basketball star.

Walpin was criticized by the acting U.S. attorney in Sacramento for the way he handled an investigation of Johnson and St. HOPE Academy, a nonprofit group that received hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal grants from the Corporation for National and Community Service. The corporation runs the AmeriCorps program.

“It is vital that I have the fullest confidence in the appointees serving as inspectors general,” Obama said in a letter Thursday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Joe Biden, who also serves as president of the Senate. “That is no longer the case with regard to this inspector general.”

The president didn’t offer any more explanation, but White House Counsel Gregory Craig, in a letter to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, cited the U.S. attorney’s criticism of Walpin to an integrity committee for inspectors general.

“We are aware of the circumstances leading to that referral and of Mr. Walpin’s conduct throughout his tenure and can assure you that the president’s decision was carefully considered,” Craig wrote.

Grassley had written Obama a letter pointing to a law requiring that Congress be given the reasons an IG is fired. He cited a Senate report saying the requirement is designed to ensure that inspectors general are not removed for political reasons.

Grassley said Walpin had identified millions of dollars in AmeriCorps funds that were wasted or misspent and “it appears he has been doing a good job.”

More background on the Bush-appointed Walpin firing:

In August 2008, Walpin referred the matter to the local U.S. attorney’s office, which said the IG’s conclusions seemed overstated and did not accurately reflect all the information gathered in the investigation.

“We also highlighted numerous questions and further investigation they needed to conduct, including the fact that they had not done an audit to establish how much AmeriCorps money was actually misspent,” Acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence Brown said in an April 29 letter to the federal counsel of inspectors general.

Walpin’s office made repeated public comments just before the Sacramento mayoral election, prompting the U.S. attorney’s office to inform the media that it did not intend to file any criminal charges.

The U.S. attorney’s office reached a settlement in the matter. Brown cited press accounts that said Johnson and the nonprofit would repay half of nearly $850,000 in grants it received.

Kevin Hiestand, chairman of the board of St. HOPE Academy, said in a statement it was “about time” Walpin was removed. “Mr. Walpin’s allegations were meritless and clearly motivated by matters beyond an honest assessment of our program.”

“Under the Geneva Convention enemy combatants dressed in civilian clothes can be summarily executed. No Miranda rights necessary.”

So why don’t we do it?

Could it be summarily executing Russians (if you’re a Nazi) or German (if you’re in the Red Army) during World War II were images abhorrent to all Americans?

And why do you think that was?

Because the Constitution of the United States declares we Americans don’t do stuff like that.

Then along comes Cheney/Shrub and decides Americans do commit atrocities for which previous generations executed war criminals who’d committed the same crimes against humanity.

(The Big) Dick Cheney would have been better off had he instructed American troops in Afghanistan to dig Nazi pits and never tried to dance around his policy, too cute by half, by giving the Oval Office carte blanche to lock up anyone and deny them due process forever.

Hey. How could Dick Cheney Nazi pits hurt his approval ratings?

The authors cite thousands of peer-reviewed research papers and books that were ignored by the IPCC, plus additional scientific research that became available after the IPCC’s self-imposed deadline of May 2006.

Global warming alarmism is lethal.

Looks like public hospitals in British Columbia, Canada, will have to cut patient services in order to comply with global warming laws established by the provincial government. The Surrey Leader reports:

The Lower Mainland’s health authorities will have to dig more than $4 million a year out of their already stretched budgets to pay B.C.’s carbon tax and offset their carbon footprints. Critics say the payments mean the government’s strategy to fight climate change will further exacerbate a crisis in health funding.

That’s kinda my point with pressing the issue to see what the justification is for classification. “Classic Liberal” vs “Modern Liberal” is perfect example…and most people don’t know the difference, so are easily fooled, based on grammatically correct wording, but historically incorrect meanings. Republicans & Dems and have flip-flopped meanings and historical norms are applied to current labels. “If you saw this story about how midshipmen’s ceremonial swords were on the prohibited list for graduation ceremonies, you were probably not pleased about it.

We are citizens of a Republic, after all – they are not subjects, and he is not a king.

The real answer is that swords are optional. Midshipmen normally don’t carry swords and they have to buy their own.

Marine dress uniforms, often include the wear of a sword. If you find any photos of the 2009 graduation of future Marines, you might find your swords.

Wichita Ice Center Hosts Lose the Training Wheels

Date: June 12, 2009
Contact: Deb Umberger, Public Relations & Outreach Coordinator

Children and adults with disabilities will have the opportunity to learn to ride a conventional bicycle during a week-long camp June 22-26 at the Wichita Ice Center.

Participants in the “Lose the Training Wheels” program use specially adapted bicycles made available during five 75-minute sessions.

“Lose the Training Wheels” is a national nonprofit organization whose executive director, Matt Hampton, is a local resident. Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC) is the local sponsor for the Wichita camp. About 100 volunteers will help with the camp. On average, 85 percent of participants learn to ride independently by the end of the camp.

Independent Living Resource Center is a not-for-profit agency that provides resources and services to more than 4,000 people with disabilities in south-central Kansas each year. Services include information and referral, vocational training, independent living skills training, peer support, medical equipment loans, computer training, social and recreational activities, and community education. ILRC is celebrating its 25th year in 2009.

Daily session times for the five-day camp are:

* Session 1
8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
* Session 2
10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
* Session 3
11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
* Session 4
1:45 p.m. – 3 p.m.
* Session 5
3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

On June 26, campers, families and volunteers will join in a 6PM celebration cookout, followed by presentation of certificates of achievement.

I think this article would look good over here too.

Obama’s issues crumbling
By Dick Morris

“According to a Rasmussen poll, more voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle the economy, by a margin of 45-39. Scott Rasmussen notes that “this is the first time in over two years of polling that the GOP has held the advantage on this issue.” Last month, he had the Democrats holding a one-point lead, but they lost it in June’s polling.

And the Democratic leads over Republicans on their core issues are also dropping. Particularly interesting is the Democratic decline over healthcare, from an 18-point lead in May to only 10 points now.

A Gallup poll also confirms that the president’s personal ratings are high, but the underlying data less so. While 67 percent of voters give Obama personal favorable ratings and 61 percent approve of his job performance (Rasmussen has his job approval lower, at 55 percent), they give him much lower ratings on specific issues.

Gallup shows Obama getting only 55 percent approval on his handling of the economy (down from 59 percent in February) and finds that only 45 percent approve of his handling of federal spending while 46 percent approve of his treatment of the budget deficit.

As it becomes clearer that the deficit caused by spending has landed us in a new economic crisis, entirely of Obama’s own making, his popularity and job performance are likely to drop as well.

The old recession — that the public says was caused by Bush — shows signs of winding down. But the new recession and/or inflation — triggered by Obama’s massive deficits — is just now coming upon us.

If Obama refuses to cut back on his spending/stimulus plans (despite convincing evidence that Americans are not spending the money), he has three options:

a) He can raise taxes, which will trigger a deeper recession;

b) He can print money, which will trigger huge inflation;

c) He can pay more interest to borrow money, which will send the economy diving down again.

The blame for these outcomes will fall squarely on Obama’s deficit and spending policies. The fact that Americans are aware of these issues, and already disapprove of Obama’s performance on them, indicates that they will be increasingly receptive to blaming him for the “new” recession.”

This ought to be fun to watch…of course it was predicted by many all along.

141. Posted June 12, 2009 at 5:17 pm | Permalink

Since it seems that there is much dis-information about this matter, the heart of the matter is what was posted earlier today by Heckler, where Heckler made the FALSE insinuation that Obama had something to do with whether or not Navy Midshipmen were banned from wearing swords by Obama Secret Service… Now that this is cleared up, it would seem that the “blame” if we really want to call it that would be on Heckler… I would settle for the FACT that the information Heckler relied on was FALSE… for the purpose of flaming – yet again – Obama, for something not even done by Obama…

“There was a time when decency, even honor, was an essential part of the American dialogue in its most ideal form, and part of its very identity. There was a time when our culture would have recoiled in horror at the vituperation flowing unchecked from radios, televisions, and the Internet, instead of applauding it as “common sense,” “free speech,” or “mavericky,” or “a spin-free zone.”

There was a time when intellectual honesty was not considered unpatriotic; when compassion for, and understanding of, your fellow man was a sign of strength, not weakness. There was a time when the phrase Have you no shame? meant something, and the First Amendment was not used as toilet paper to wipe up the excremental verbal degradation of vulnerable segments of the American population. A time when it was expected that citizens would understand the difference between free speech and irresponsible speech. Somewhere along the line, a cancerous segment of American popular culture and media cunningly exploited the long-standing, honorable American “cowboy” motif and mentality. They grafted cruelty, divisiveness, and ignorance to it, making the two appear indistinguishable, and natural allies. And they are neither, or at least ought not to be.”

One has to ask themselves of the apocryphal story of the ‘no swords’ at the Naval Academy in 2001.

All one has to do is to look at West Point photographs where swords are indeed worn at graduation ceremonies. In 2006, Bush attended such a ceremony – swords and all.

The story about the 2001 sword ban is obviously patently false.

The only ban of swords was by people attending the Naval Academy graduation as guests – i.e. they were not allowed to bring ceremonial swords into the stadium.

There is no record of Naval Academy graduates being prohibited of wearing swords during graduation by President Bush.

193. Posted June 12, 2009 at 7:08 pm | Permalink

OKO–

This issue is this, and I’m typing real slow for you:

The Washington Times claimed that Obama is so scared of his own troops that he had swords banned at his graduation speech at the Naval Academy.

You supported this contention and chimed in that your bogus “barbados” blogsite had photos of sailors wearing swords during Cheney’s speech in 2006.

It does have photos of sailors wearing swords, but there’s no way to tell if they are at Cheney’s event or not.

Since the policy of prohibiting swords was in effect at least since 2008, obviously one can’t make the conclusion that Obama is responsible for the policy as you and Heckler did.

Repeat after me: “I was wrong to blame Obama for something that Bush did.”

The Washington Times fueled all this slander by reprinting the same regulations that have been in effect since 2002 (not 2001).

I linked to the 2008 regulations above.

Whether they apply to military personnel is not the issue. The Washington TIMES implied that the regs did apply without bothering to check and without looking at the history of the regulations of the Naval graduation.

In short, they slimed our President without reason.

Can someone give a legitimate, official source about this sword business?
I find it hard to believe the Secret Service would h a problem taking out a suddenly homicidal graduate….

All I have seen is blogs referencing blogs referencing blogs.. (google “obama sword graduate navy” and you get 44,000 results)

The fullest explaination I find is:
http://www.myssnews.com/forum.html?func=view&catid=3&id=5917&limit=15&start=15

“Re:Swordless Sailors 1 Day, 4 Hours ago Karma: 2
I have been looking at his quite a few hours this morning. Looks like that quote was taken from a blog of someone not liking Obama’s stand on gun control.

From what I could find, very little exposure, USNA graduates are given the ceremonial sword upon graduation.

I found the following on a naval forum:

There is unfortunately a considerable amount of misunderstanding and in some cases a lack of context regarding prescribed uniforms, ceremonial swords and associated security measures in conjunction with the recent May 22nd U.S. Naval Academy graduation and commissioning.

Midshipmen and officers did not wear ceremonial swords at graduation because of long established uniform protocol, not due to security concerns as some observers have inferred. In fact, the prescribed uniform for officers and Naval Academy midshipmen participating in the graduation and commissioning was “Navy Service Dress White” – i.e. the familiar Navy “choker” white uniform with ribbons; medals and swords were not prescribed with this uniform for this event. Other military service personnel who were participating wore their equivalent service uniform in the same configuration. Navy Service Dress White (and Marine Corps equivalent) has been the prescribed uniform for Naval Academy graduations in recent history, spanning the past several decades. Graduating midshipmen did not wear swords because swords were not a component of the service uniform prescribed for either this graduation or many other previous graduations.

The May 22nd graduation was attended by nearly 30,000 people, all of which had to undergo required security screening. As a matter of routine measures associated with similar events, attendees were required to be screened through magnetometers, and were prohibited from bringing large bags, large electronic items, and any instruments or tools that could be considered weapons or appear to be weapons. The Naval Academy advised the graduates and their families about the strict security associated with the graduation and recommended that families not bring certain items, including ceremonial swords. The intent was to avoid any additional stadium entry delays and to preclude family members from possibly not being able to attend their midshipman’s graduation. This was consistent with many previous graduation ceremonies.

I hope that this helps explain any misunderstandings on these issues.”

PROBABLY POSSIBLE!

Sounds like something Obama would say.

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea was bracing for a possible third nuclear test by North Korea, which a U.S. official said was likely despite looming U.N. sanctions on the communist state for its previous test in May.

Given the North’s track record of provocative behavior and defiance of the United Nations, “common sense” would dictate that it is preparing for another nuclear test, South Korean Defense Ministry spokesman Won Tae-jae told reporters Friday.

He said the test was “probably possible.”

Or maybe, just maybe, the Iranian ACORN was involved in election fraud!?!

Obama Sings:

If tomorrow all the things were gone
I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again
with just my children and my wife,
I’d thank my lucky stars
to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom
and they can’t take that away.

I’m proud to be a Saudi Arabian
where at least I know I’m free,
And I won’t forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land
God Bless Saudi Arabia!

From the Persian Gulf
to the sands of Mekkah,
Across the oil fields of Brydah,
from oil well to oil well.
From Jeddah down to Hofuf Mubarraz
and Khamis Mushayt to Tabuk,
There’s pride in every Saudi Arabian heart
and it’s time we stand and say:

I’m proud to be a Saudi Arabian
where at least I know I’m free,
And I won’t forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,

It sent chills up my spine, brought a pallor to my cheek, and a mist before my eye.

Obama’s version of patriotism is nothing like what America has seen before. HE has brought nothin but words of weakness and shame to America. He has not inspired, he has brought fear. He has not fostered a sense of self-worth, he has fosterd a sense of worthlessness requiring a Government to support you, because you are too weak and too frail to take care of yourself.

You are not what makes America strong. Government is what makes America strong.

Instead, what the people are doing today, by voicing their views and exorcising their 1st Amendment rights while they still can, is PARTICIPATING in Government, not opposing it.

You Libs don’t seem to be able to handle any opposition. In spite of your professed ways of supporting diverse views, you do nothing but stifle the views of anyone who opposes you.

It wasn’t last year. It was this year. Time flies.

In October 2007, Lovelle Mixon was released on parole after serving five years of a six-year sentence for assault with a firearm. Within months the 26-year-old Oakland resident was in trouble again, authorities said.

In February, Mixon was placed on a parole hold as a possible suspect in a homicide in Alameda County, according to Scott Kernan, undersecretary of operations for the state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Prosecutors declined to file charges in that case, saying there was not sufficient evidence, but Mixon was detained on various parole violations and sent back to prison for nine months, Kernan said.

Here is a look at Mixon’s interactions with the parole department since his Nov. 1 release from the California Correctional Center in Susanville, as reported by the department :

Nov. 3: Mixon reports to his parole agent for an initial interview and undergoes his first mandatory drug test.

Nov. 5: Mixon reports to Parole and Community Team, a state program that offers a broad range of services to parolees. The agency provides job placement, drug treatment and other services. During the visit, he met with his parole agent and again was tested for drugs.

Nov. 7: Mixon’s parole agent makes an initial residential visit, meeting with Mixon at his mother’s home in Oakland. The agent also met with relatives of Mixon to evaluate his living conditions and who he was interacting with while on parole. During the visit, Mixon is referred by the agent to America Work, an employment service.

Dec. 17: Mixon’s parole agent makes a residential visit, also meeting with one of Mixon’s cousins as part of their continuing effort to assess his family situation.

Dec. 19: Mixon reports to the parole office and takes a drug test.

Jan. 6: Mixon reports to the parole office and takes a drug test.

Jan. 23: Mixon’s parole agent makes a residential visit and refers Mixon to another employment service, Project Choice Employment.

Feb. 6: Mixon reports to the parole office and takes a drug test.

Feb. 18: Mixon’s parole agent makes a residential visit but cannot locate him.

Feb. 24: Mixon’s parole agent makes another residential visit but Mixon cannot be located. The agent talks with his mother.

Feb. 26: After another residential visit, the agent still cannot locate Mixon.

Feb. 27: The parole agent prepares a parolee-at-large report and a warrant is issued for Mixon’s arrest. The state Board of Parole Hearings suspends Mixon’s parole effective Feb. 19, the day after his parole officer first failed to find him. The case is referred to the corrections department’s Fugitive Apprehension Team.

March 6: The Fugitive Apprehension Team and members of the Oakland Police Department visit three Oakland addresses, including Mixon’s mother’s home, his address of record. The following week, they distribute a bulletin to the Oakland Police Department. The case is also referred to the U.S. Marshals Service to check on reports that Mixon might have been in the Auburn, Wash., area. They are unable to locate him.

March 21: Mixon is pulled over by Oakland motorcycle officers for a traffic violation shortly after 1 p.m. Authorities said he began shooting at the officers, killing Sgt. Mark Dunakin, 40, and fatally wounding Officer John Hege, 41. After trying to hide in a nearby apartment building where his sister lives, Mixon kills Oakland SWAT sergeants Ervin Romans, 43, and Daniel Sakai, 35, before he is shot and killed by police.

Then BJ is a liar. I don’t think they had debit cards for food stamps back then. I’m sure they didn’t have healthcare provided by the HARD WORK OF OTHER AMERICANS back then.

But Bluejay wouldn’t have any healthcare for his only son – if not for MY hard work.

Now, WE BLOG Editors,

I see you posted a special topic for 1 murder of a security guard in Washington DC.

Let me ask you, did you happen to post a special topic for 4 murders of police officers in Oakland, CA?

The murderer also raped 2 women that day, so I don’t know if that was such a NEWSWORTHY event or not.

Just asking.

Cause…

Well you know, people in Kansas seem to be so concerned about that security guard being murdered in Washington, DC.

So well, you know, I thought maybe 4 Cops Killed and 2 Women Raped by one guy in the same day in Oakland, CA MIGHT warrant a topic too.

Just wondering….

You know BJ, your comment takes me back to when I was a teenager dealing with a gang in my hometown.

My older USMC brother gave me some good advice, offered to help of course, but I turned him down. I knew I had to take care of myself, and I did.

The exact details of the advice I cannot disclose.

It would involve you ultimately having you being bent over backwards, gaining a new set of shoulder blades in the process, and being able to stick your tongue out to lick the insides of your own intenstinal track.

Now back in my day, after I dealt with the little gang that was threatening me, the school cop and one teacher each called me aside separately and thanked me for kickin their as*. They admitted that there was nothing that they (Government) could do themselves since the gang members were all juvies.

I took care of myself then. I’ll do it again if I have to. I choose not to pursue confrantation if I have to, but will if I must.

So BJ, I humbly decline your request to meet. You seem to want to meet so many on this blog, perhaps you are just lonely, but maybe you are really a pure pyschobicth maniac.

In any case the answer is no.

” You mean that another poster in the past used to call you on your BS?”

Has nothing to do with disagreeing with my posts, correcting my posts, or voicing a logical opinion counter to mine, which makes sense.

It has to do with you showing up out of the blue, knowing how the regulars here post, knowing our history (and don’t try your – all ya gotta do is read crap), the confidence to insult other posters like the regular libs, worrying about nics, the manner of postings, the taking sides and using commonly used lines, and about a half dozen other things.

I’m not going to ask who you used to be again. I really do not care. I don’t care to get caught up in this: HE SAID, THAT YOU SAID, THAT HE SAID, crap and I don’t care if you, bluejay, jr, jm, capnamerica or anyone else have a DOZEN nics.

It means nothing, accomplishes nothing, contributes nothing, it feeds the only two other posters here who still play that childs game, and most importantly – wastes space.

Which leads me to the main reason we can tell you are an old regular: You no longer post any original opinions. No risk taking sharing an original thought. Now you just “play” off other posters. You are feeding from the blog – not really contributing.

If tomorrow all the things were gone
I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again
with just my children and my wife,
I’d thank my lucky stars
to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom
and they can’t take that away.

I’m proud to be a Saudi Arabian
where at least I know I’m free,
And I won’t forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land
God Bless Saudi Arabia!

From the Persian Gulf
to the sands of Mekkah,
Across the oil fields of Brydah,
from oil well to oil well.
From Jeddah down to Hofuf Mubarraz
and Khamis Mushayt to Tabuk,
There’s pride in every Saudi Arabian heart
and it’s time we stand and say:

I’m proud to be a Saudi Arabian
where at least I know I’m free,
And I won’t forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,

“Marine dress uniforms, often include the wear of a sword. If you find any photos of the 2009 graduation of future Marines, you might find your swords.”

Regular, Marines have two swords. Officers wear or are armed with the Mameluke and enlisted the NCO Sword. When officers and NCO’s wear swords they are considered to be under arms.

I have carried my sword with cammies, charlies, dress A’s, and our more well known dress blues.

Not sure on this later, but I believe the only service which has swords for enlisted is the Marines.

BTW, in recruit training – the recruits are not wearing swords (unless for instructional purposes). Enlisted Corporal (E4) NCO’s, SNCO’s, and officers are authorized the sword. Not the junior Marines (probably because they’d end up getting hurt playing rambo).

Hey

I wanted to share with you a wonderful site I just came across teaching Krav Maga like they teach it in the Israeli Army (IDF) If you guys have seen the Tv Show called Fight Quest you would have seen their chief instructor Ran Nakash there. Anyways, I think it’s worth a look. I’ve been a member for the last 4 months, and I’ve been loving every momen of it.

Hope I’ve helped someone here,

all the best

Anyways, I think it’s worth a look. I’ve been a member for the last 4 months, and I’ve been loving every second of it.

Hope I’ve helped someone here,

all the best
