Obama in tights

obamasuperheroIn the JibJab Web site’s latest animated snapshot of politics, President Obama is a multitasking, tights-wearing, pirate-fighting superhero who’s “come to save the day.” On Obama’s to-do list, according to the lyrics: “He’ll spend the dough. Write the checks. Disregard the mounting debt. Stop the globe from getting warm. Fuel your car with nuts and corn. Leap a building. Run industry. Save a kitten from a tree.”

Jibjab has been on the slide since “This Land”. I don’t know they started out as cons. Maybe the money did that. Either way, they’ve lost their edge. An activist President is INSPIRING, not amusing.

Lighten up, JR. JibJab is an equal opportunity insulter, as they should be. It’s funny. It was funny when they went after Bush, McCain, Clinton, etc., and it’s funny now.

I know your own particular brand of self-loathing, paranoia, and general crabbiness is a comfort to you, but keep it to yourself. Many of the rest of us are actually enjoying life.

Thanks for your cooperation. Oh, and BOO!

But come on…he & his party are the ones with the “Big Brains” as one op/ed recently said..you know the ones with all the new & exciting ideas…like spending sprees, nationalizing more services & raising taxes…huh, that sounds an awful lot like the same ideas they’ve had since the inception of their party….oh, well, hope & change, yes we can…what more could you possible need? I guess “yes we can” is much catchier and deep and since Conservatives are all out of touch & outdated..I guess none of these comments from Reagan would apply today…weird, they still do whoda thunk it?
‘Here’s my strategy on the Cold War: We win, they lose.’- Ronald Reagan

‘The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. . was too strong.’
    - Ronald Reagan

‘I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘The taxpayer: That’s someone who works for the federal government but doesn’t have to take the civil service examination.’
    - Ronald Reagan

‘Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.’
    - Ronald Reagan

‘The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed, there are many rewards; if you disgrace yourself, you can always write a book.’ – Ronald Reagan

‘No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is as formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women.’- Ronald Reagan

‘If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God , then we will be a nation gone under.’
    - Ronald Reagan

I thought the JibJab was funny. But you know Obama wouldn’t have to save us if the cons hadn’t f’d up so bad. But you know, we told you so.

Cons need to just stop whining, be part of the solution, you created the problem.

“Cons need to just stop whining, be part of the solution, you created the problem.”

Little Barry is not much more than a big headed liar. The libs have at least two branches of the government, and really three, and are trying to blame everyone but themselves. It’s their ballgame now and they are throwing it away.
Obama’s numbers are dropping, and as people realize how inept he really is they will continue to do so big time.
