First there was the gay marriage question at the Miss USA pageant. Now Miss California Carrie Prejean is in hot water for posing for racy modeling pictures several years ago. What’s more, she assured the Miss California USA pageant, after one of the photos was released, that only one photo existed. But then a second was released, and there reportedly are two more. Prejean had signed a contract with Miss California USA stating she has never been photographed nude or partially nude. As a result, she could lose her Miss California crown. Oh, the horror. Also, it was reported earlier that the Miss California USA pageant paid for Prejean to get breast implants.
Who knew there was so much scandal potential in a beauty pageant? Will Prejean continue to be a heroine of the religious right?

It was not like she suddenly burst onto the stage, grabbed a mike and shouted her condemnation of gay marriage. She was asked a question and answered it honestly later in a MSNBC interview Hilton stated that the pageant candidates should leave their religious and political beliefs out of the pageant. Well Mr. Hilton so should you! He asked her because of her being from California and prop 8 he interjected his political beliefs into the pageant.
I have a uncle-in-law that will answer a direct question honestly and no matter what impact it has.
I like him but know better then to ask him if he likes me? If I ask you a question I than have to respect your opinion. I may try to explain why I think your opinion is wrong. But I am not entitled to call you names and make fun of your body and mind.
The pictures are Mittel Nichts, to be held against her by a pageant where she is require to walk around in a Bikini that is less covering of her butt then the panties she was wearing in the pictures is ridicules. Did you know that under that Bikini top she had her boobs hanging out! You see exactly what you see either covered by the top or her arms. It not like Rose-ann Bar in a teddy now that WAS obscene!
I do not oppose Gay marriage because of logical reasons, I do think Hilton is anti-gay for his question and his reactions. Reason is winning out it would seem but reacting like some winy sissy boy sets the reasoning back. He did more damage to his cause then she did with her answer.

You should take it in context though…it was a beauty pagent, not Jeopardy.
It was a setup question, and any answer given would have sounded stupid.
Really the best answer IMHO would have been for her to tell Hilton that that question was not appropriate for the Miss America Pageant and refuse to answer it. She would have gotten the same score from him, not put down her personal values, and not offend gay marriage supporters. She could have explained her views on Good Morning America and Hannity the next day and been respected by both sides for not falling into Hilton’s trap of politizing the pageant. (hindsight is always 20/20 isn’t it)
Perez Hiltion will soon be gone anyway, as it’s reported that make up can only cover up so many Kaposis Sarcoma lesions.

I’m Conservative. Compassion is a matter of opinion and political idealogy.
I believe more compassion is shown by giving one the tools to be self-sufficient vs. keeping them as an indentured servant.
As far as Christian values goes, I am also a Christian. The basic of that is I am a sinner. So are you. I’m in need of a savior. So are you.
The difference is Christians seem to recognize this. Those that bash it (at least among this crew) seem to feel morally superior and not in need of salvation.

As I said earlier, the photo isn’t a particular problem. It’s hardly even a photo.
But she did use the pageant as a forum for her political agenda, and pageant officials (letches that they are) have the right to boot her out for that or any other reason they choose, including getting her tits inflated or tramp-stamp airbrushed out or preaching about her morality on company time. Personally, I don’t care what they do since I’m not planning on watching it. Think I’ll watch “Religulous” instead, see if that’s any good.
The real question is not that she might lose her Miss California title, it’s whether they will reprocess her boobs?
