Sarah Palin, who just signed a book deal, has jumped into the Carrie Prejean debate, decrying the “liberal onslaught of malicious attacks.”
Borowitz Report responded with a news spoof headlined: “Palin-Prejean Alliance Predicted in Book of Revelations; Beauty Queens Prefigure End of Days.” The spoof also reported that “in 1555 Nostradamus predicted the alliance between the two right-wing beauties when he wrote, ‘The slayer of beasts shall meet the barer of breasts.’”
Meanwhile, Fox commentator Greg Gutfeld joked that Prejean’s seminude photos “offer undeniable proof that God is a dude and He totally exists. Seriously, I am so going to church on Sunday.”

Neither one of them hold a candle to a photo I saw of Sophia Loren cooking dinner (for real, not a photo op) for famine victims in Ethiopia a few years back. Now that’s REAL beauty!
Prejean was put in the place of both defending herself and her beliefs simply because of her honest answer to a question. A question that was not of her choice, it was not like while walking across the stage she suddenly stopped grabbed a mike and demanded the music to stop. Then announced that she was not in favor of gay marriage! That aside, Palin does not have that same defense.

Just what else has Palin ever said that warrants supporting her?

Persons I deeply disagree with, in fact, are close friends; their disagreement with me, even on basic substantive issues, is hardly grounds for “contempt.”
Morever, just what is “contemptable” about either? They’re attractive; is that it? Envy, perhaps, but not contempt. They state opinions you disagree with. OK, but that’s pretty da** shallow. Moreover, in fact, they are opinions that large percentages, or even substantial majorities, of the public hold (remember, gay marriage has failed every public vote its been put to). They are, in the case at issue, opinions the President – your president – holds.
And for that, you claim you have “contempt?”
Riiiiiiight.

As for Prejean’s career, it appears to be taking off despite losing the crown, a fact which has not escaped her.
“I wouldn’t be here right now if I were Miss USA,” she said on the “Today Show.” “I know I have a purpose and I don’t take back what I said. I was true to myself. I know now I can go out and speak to young people about standing up about what you believe in and never compromising yourself for anyone or anything, even if it’s the crown for Miss USA.”

truthfully, how many people would even have known or cared that the pageant occured if the Prejean thing hadn’t have happened? Trump is a smar business man

Yeah, I think the media should have just left the whole thing along. Opinions are as always like @s$holes, everybody has one, and everybody is entitled to their belief and opinions. I’m referring to Carrie P, anyway it just goes to show, that beauty pageants are based on just that, physical beauty, not on intelligence and intellect. If Carrie P. had some brains to go along with that body and face, then I would be doubly turned on. But shallow, and materialistic women don’t do much for me at all, no matter how hot they are.

I’m not saying she’s dumb. I’m just saying, she probably dosen’t use her brain in the best way. Which she can’t help the way her parents raised her. Plus she’s so young, when are they going to have some beauty pageants for older women, that have actually made something of themselves. I’ll take a 35-40 year old smart independent hottie, any day, over some Freshmen bimbo.

This will doom her to dwell among the aging and dying people who believe as she is being built into. She may as well already be old.
I think the bigger question is if Sara is going to carry Alaska next year. The folks up there are getting pretty tired of being between her and her national ambitions. The attorney general she nominated got turned down by the Republican dominated state legislature. That is a first in Alaskan history. She’s not that popular up there these days.
