Mired in debt? Not to worry, for just $200 God will clear all your debt. Yes, it’s that easy. No, you don’t send your money to God you send it to his sole representative on Earth, the man who says he is literally the face of God.

    http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/05/25/high-flying-evangelical-preacher-comes-under-scrutiny/

You can trust this guy because he meets with God personally, and has been doing so since the age of 8. He’s a preacher so he wouldn’t lie. God loves him so much that he has blessed him with millions of dollars, which clearly must not be those dollars being sent to God.

The guy makes over a million dollars a year because he is humble and they make needle eyes a lot wider these days. He’s creating a massive 93-acre City of Light which will be a multi-media empire because he doesn’t want to be some loser who just speaks on a hilltop. All of this will promote the message of easily getting out of your debt.

So what are you waiting for? Don’t worry about paying off those credit cards or your home mortgage, just send this guy $200 (or more) and God will cancel all your debt for you.

    He’s a Christian, he wouldn’t lie.

    Walker:

What the he ll does my religion have anything to do with anything?

You got a real problem guy.
    ==========================================
I don’t have a problem with any religion. What I do have a problem with is those who profess to be religious, and think attacking other countries is A Okay. I have a problem with those who profess to be religious people purposely attacking people for no other reason than they can. You, JJ and reg fit that to a “T”.”

    ========================================
Still waiting for JMWALKER to respond to my post on above:

    1) Show me where American Way is religious? Any posts to support that? I’m the guy who wants republicans to throw the Religious Right under the bus and drop the PROLIFE dogma as job #1. I’ve posted many times on same.

    2) Show me where I supported attacking another country. I was one of those who posted many times that I opposed Iraq and wanted Bush to bring our troops home.

I’ve apologized to others on this page when I wrongly accused them of something, or posted something inaccurate.

Hopefully Walker is man enough to do the same.

This is now the recommended EIT to be used on terrorists and criminals. It does not involve torture. It involves getting to know the terrorist or criminal better, making friends with them, giving them lolly pops, and other law enforcement techniques.

I have seen the results of someone trying to make his own gasoline, bits and piece of him hanging from a tree in his backyard. There is that element to North Korea and the nuclear weapon, they could end up blowing themselves up. No exactly problem solved as they would take a lot of people around them with them.

But then what to do? Destroy their weapons by a surgical strike would then make the Chinese as nervous as they were with the thought of U.S. troops being next door in the fifties. China could step up and try to end it but with a lunatic in control in North Korea there is as much chances as with the U. S. going to bat.
China would have the ground troops to do a ground action, but then we will get nervous of a Chinese expansion. Who in history has invaded then not occupy, it’s a fool errand to think we would leave Iraq alone to themselves. Likewise anyone who will take action to stop North Korea will also take the prize.
Though I admit that is not so great a prize, we do it then at best Korea is now one country but it would be like the person who wins the lottery only to find their house full of all their poor relatives at the door.
Which would mean that big brother Sam is not having to feed and bed all the North Koreans.

North Korea has nothing already so threatening to take more away from them is a hollow threat.
They already know that if we were to take them over which would be what we would have to do.
Their better off as we would only improve their standard of living at our expense.
Kind of like Iraq, we go in and overthrow the Government we have the China shop rule in effect.

So what does North Korea want?

A nuclear weapon so they can set at the adult table?
Such hatred of the world and the United States that they could sell or give Nuclear weapons to those who would use them against us? How would that end for North Korea?

Tough Cowboy did not work with them during the Bush administration.
They do not seem to want to be treated like adults by president Obama.
I actually have more understanding of Iran wanting a nuclear weapon with having the Nuclear power of Israel and them being a loose canon on the desk. But North Korea seems more the case of “you can’t fix stupid!”.

You suppose their launching of 2 more missiles today is a BFD worthy of it’s own topic?

You suppose their launching of 5 missiles in 2 days and 1 atomic explosion is a BFD worthy of it’s own topic?

Obama might have to take a break from Golf and Global Warming and sit down and consider if North Korea is worthy of some attention.

Most trolls are sad people, living their lonely lives vicariously through those they see as strong and successful.

Disrupting a stable newsgroup gives the illusion of power, just as for a few, stalking a strong person allows them to think they are strong, too.

For trolls, any response is recognition; they are unable to distinguish between irritation and admiration; their ego grows directly in proportion to the response, regardless of the form or content of that response.

Trolls, rather surprisingly, dispute this, claiming that it’s a game or joke; this merely confirms the diagnosis; how sad do you have to be to find such mind-numbingly trivial timewasting to be funny?

Remember that trolls are cowards; they usually post just enough to get an argument going, then sit back and count the responses (Yes, that’s what they do!).

Agreed, nor did it help when Rumsfield was on the board of director who sold N. Korea the Nuclear plant
that in the end was used to make a Nuclear weapon.

It’s like negotiating with a babbling fool, if you do not understand them and what they want how can you negotiate? Trying to look at it logically can fail if there is not logic on their part. Giving them what they say they want does not stop them. Saying they are facing a military strike if they do not stop only makes them feel now they really do need a weapon!

Kim really does have the same aspect of a Rabid dog. But to use the same solution you would with a Rabid dog can cause more dogs to go rabid.

I think Obama needs to take some very strong actions about the North Koreans and the Iranians. Both are acting up since Obama took control.

Obama has made some very smart strategic moves to keep us safer in the short time he has been president. I believe he needs to follow up with similiar actions regarding these two dangerous countries.

1st – Obama went on a whirlwind worldwide tour apologizing to the world for being American and letting them know we really were not Christians so they didn’t need to attack us.

2d – Obama changes the Global War on Terror to ‘Overseas Contingency Operation. This immediately cut the threat level to the United States.

3d – Obama had “Janet Napolitano, US defense secratary declare that “acts of terrorism” would henceforth be called: “Man-caused disasters.”

These three remarkable actions have made all of us safer.

I propose that Obama continue along the same vein with Iran and North Korea.

Obama needs to rename these two something other than the Bush “axis of evil”.

Something which will make us feel safer.

    Any ideas?

Our nation’s future henges upon these decisions, so please let’s help Obama resolve this crises.
We don’t want a global nuclear war which would increase GW.

We need a new name for the “axis of evil” immediately.

Tenth Amendment Movement Aims to Give Power Back to the States

Fed up with Washington’s involvement in everything from land use to gun control to education spending, states across the country are fighting back against what they say is the federal government’s growing intrusion on their rights.

Obama is way ahead of them:

Russia could deploy bombers to Cuba and Venezuela

Russia is considering using bases in Cuba and Venezuela where it could deploy strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear missiles.

…….However, last July, Gen Norton Schwartz, a senior US air force officer, warned that Russia would cross “a red line” if it were to base nuclear capable bombers in Cuba. Reports in Russia said that there were three types of Russian aircraft capable of long-distance bomber patrols: the Tu-95MS, the Tu-160 and the Tu-22, all of which are capable of carrying 12 cruise missiles that can be fitted with nuclear warheads.

Venezuelan officials confirmed on Sunday that they had offered Russia the use of their facilities.

California high court upholds gay marriage ban

The 6-1 decision written by Chief Justice Ron George rejected an argument by gay rights activists that the ban revised the California constitution’s equal protection clause to such a dramatic degree that it first needed the Legislature’s approval.

NEW YORK (Reuters) – U.S. consumer confidence soared in May to its highest level in eight months as severe strains in the labor market showed some signs of easing, though Americans’ moods remained depressed by historical standards.

The Conference Board, an industry group, said on Tuesday its index of consumer attitudes jumped to 54.9 in May from a revised 40.8 in April, the biggest one-month jump since April 2003. Economists had been looking for a much smaller rise to 42.0.

Obama’s Great Gesture of Weakness Invites Russian & Iranian Navies to Take Over Mid-East Waters

    Russian & Iranians Working Together

    http://www.debka.com/headline.php?hid=6095

Russian warships are due to call Wednesday, May 27, at the Bahrain port of Manama, seat of the US Fifth Fleet in the Persian Gulf, DEBKAfile’s military sources reveal. They will be following in the wake of the Russian vessels already docked at the Omani port of Salalah, the first to avail themselves of facilities at Gulf ports.

Their arrival is fully coordinated between the Russian and Iranian naval commands.

According to our sources, this is the first time a Russian flotilla will have taken on provisions and fuel at the same Gulf ports which hitherto serviced only the US Navy. Moscow has thus gained its first maritime foothold in the Persian Gulf.

The flotilla consists of four vessels from Russia’s Pacific Fleet: The submarine fighter Admiral Panteleyev is due at Manama Wednesday, escorted by the refueling-supply ship Izhorai, The supply-battleship Irkut and the rescue craft BM-37 are already docked in Salalah.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the Russians, like the Iranians, cover their stealthy advance into new waters by apparent movements for joining the international task force combating Somali pirates. While Iranian warships have taken up positions in the Gulf of Aden, the Russians are moving naval units southeast into the Persian Gulf.

Monday, May 25, the Iranian naval chief, Adm. Habibollah Sayyari, announced that six Iranian warships had been dispatched to “the international waters” of the Gulf of Aden in a “historically unprecedented move… to show its ability to confront any foreign threats.” He did not bother to mention the pirates.

Russian and Iranian naval movements in the two strategic seas are clearly synchronized at the highest levels in Tehran and Moscow.

Our military analysts find Russia and Iran seizing the moment for supplanting positions held exclusively by the US and other western fleets. They are taking advantage of two developments:

    1. The number of US warships maintained in the Gulf has been reduced to its lowest level in two years; President Obama quietly reduced their presence near Iran’s shores in order to generate a positive atmosphere for the coming US dialogue with the Islamic Republic. Not a single US aircraft carrier is consequently to be found anywhere in the Gulf region.

    2. Monday, May 25, President Nicolas Sarkozy inaugurated France’s first naval facility in the Gulf in Abu Dhabi. The Russian and Iranian policy-makers see no reason why Moscow cannot set up a military presence in the region if Paris can.

Regular, I agree. Sometime ago, I posted back to I think Linda or PMomma when one of them posted about the “landslide” and “mandate” of the people. Can’t find it now.

But the statistics/demographics showed how narrow a victory it was for Obama – in a dozen states. And just as important the senate and house seats were in many cases won by slim majorities. We know that in MN quite visibly, but the same was true in many states.

The independents decide elections. They were mad at Bush (and republicans not being republicans) as well as the war, spending, the bailout, you name it. And there were more than a few republicans who crossed over.

It is the above population which O’bama must not loose and congress.

A rather narrow victory, but I have always admitted a majority nevertheless.

It’s just not a call for “change” or reason to order more cans of blue paint.

    “Defense of Marriage Act”

When you’re playing defense, you’re not winning.

    “Traditional marriage”

Again, defensive. The very term implies that there IS more than one concept of marriage.

This is an even less worthy cause than trying to deny a woman reproductive choice. At least with THAT, a con can lie and pretend to be concerned about life and not admit their real agenda.

With this one? They are reduced to fighting over a word, “marriage”. Ironically enough, marriage is such that they ought to be encouraging anyone still willing to respect that institution. It’s in plenty of demographic trouble already.

The California decision was pretty narrow. It wasn’t a decision based on the issue, but on the legitimacy of the California Constitution.

California has devolved away from a representative democracy to a frenzy of ballot initiatives which supplant the legislature.

So, yeah, you get a lot of plebiscites for additional government services and “no new taxes.”

The “Governator” was gonna change all that, remember? How’d that work out for all those Repubics who wanted an amendment to the U.S. Constitution so there could be a President Ahnold?

California’s Democratic legislature passed a budget in January that would’ve cut their deficit by more than $18 Billion dollars. Schwarzenegger vetoed it and there were enough Repubics to sustain the veto and put the state in the mess it’s in.

Just read something that will make the most radical libs on the blog happy. Those dastardly evilll corporations are really hurting. I just hope none of them work for the aircraft industry or knows anyone else that does. They can look for things to look up in a couple of years after the corporations rebound.

“Domestic corporate profits fell 16.5 percent in the fourth quarter from the third quarter, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Corporate profits fell in 2007 and 2008, but the decline accelerated sharply in the fourth quarter.

Corporate profits are a key indicator of future business jet sales. Experts say aircraft sales tend to pick up about two years after corporate profits rebound.”

Phase II ASR projects allow City to pump more water into aquifer

Wichita Water Utilities will host a public information meeting tonight to update attendees about the progress of the Equus Beds Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) program. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Halstead High School Gymnasium, 520 W. Sixth Street. Wichita Water Utilities customers as well as residents of Bentley, Halstead and Sedgwick are encouraged to attend.

The ASR program is currently in its second and largest phase of development that consists of five core projects: water treatment plant and intake structure; pipelines; overhead power lines; recharge wells; and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Wichita Water Utilities staff, design engineers for the five projects and project regulators will be on hand to answer questions and provide timelines for completion.

When rain causes the Little Arkansas River to rise, the ASR project kicks in to take the extra water out of the river and moves it through a water treatment plant to remove contaminants. The drinking-quality water that is produced is then pumped underground into the Equus Beds aquifer. Since 2007, more than 720 million gallons of water have been recharged into the aquifer to be used in the future by Wichita area residents. When Phase II is completed in 2011, Wichita Water Utilities will be able to pump as much as 40 million gallons of water a day into the aquifer, up from the City’s current capacity of 10 million gallons a day.

The ASR project is being completed in four phases for an estimated $400 million. It is playing a pivotal role in preserving and protecting the Equus Beds aquifer while also improving the water supply to the Wichita region through the year 2050. Phase I was completed in 2006, at a cost of $27 million.

    NEW School prayer :

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
    Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
    That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God’s name is prohibited by the state.
We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They’ve outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the ‘unwed daddy,’ our Senior King.
It’s ‘inappropriate’ to teach right from wrong,
We’re taught that such ‘judgments’ do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It’s scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
    Amen

    Y’see, “okobserver” –

Part of the CONs’ problem is their compartmentalized thinking; you don’t seem to see the ways disparate issues connect.

You can’t attack the so-called “Obama Recession” without realizing six out of eight years of George WMD Bush got us to where we were at noon on January 20, 2009.

You can’t go the Dick Cheney route and brag about how CONs “saved” America from “terrists” for “seven-and-a-half years,” without someone reminding you of “bin Laden determined to attack the U.S.” a month before bin Laden attacked the U.S.

You can’t stand at Ground Zero and vow to avenge those 3,000 WTC victims without being reminded of the 4,500 Americans who died in Iraq for no particular reason whatsoever.

You can’t defend war crimes such as torture with
ticking time-bomb fantasies without some “libruhl” noting the clock counting down somehow had enough time for at least 182 failed waterboarding attempts.

    Sorry.

It’s a little thing called context. It’s a little thing called reality. CON-speak is becoming more and more devoid of reality.

You CONs tend to retreat to “What I meant to say was….” squirming when called on what you actually said.

The only corporate tax changes I’m aware of from President Obama is the effort to stop off-shore tax havens and commitment to enforcing the laws already on the books. Like, f’rinstance, the Republic Party’s promise the Shrub tax cuts would sunset in 2010; which is now portrayed as an Obama tax increase!

Sorry. It’s what the Repubics promised back in 2002. Anything else from them — which is to say just about everything else from them lately — is cynical demagoguery.

It’s not surprising you’d prefer to talk about crappie and hush puppies now. But you posted what you did and got called on it. Deal with it.

Gold Star Mother Betty Pulliam, who lost a son in Viet Nam, now works part time helping to kill babies for profit in Tiller’s notorious late-term Wichita abortion mill. She was honored in Washington, DC on Memorial Day at a breakfast with Obamanation.
Our federal government should not be honoring abortion mill killers under any circumstances. It’s bad enough that this contract killer already got a taxpayer-funded steak and lobster dinner at Cedar Crest in Topeka, along with Tiller and all his killer quacks and staff.
    - – -

Kansas voters must now see to it that the federal grant for family planning in Kansas is completely rejected, now that their right through their elected legislators to pick qualified, respectable agencies for distribution other than criminal, racist Planned Parenthood abortion mills has been denied by Parkinson’s veto.
Planned Parenthood is not a fit, qualified, or acceptable agency for distribution of your federal tax money in a family planning grant.
    - – -

Revealing just how two-faced Obamanation’s orations are, Melody Barnes, Director of Domestic Policy Council and a former board member of the pro-abortion Emily’s List, recently told a meeting of pro-life and pro-abortion advocates that Obamanation’s goal is to reduce the need for abortions, not to reduce the number of abortions, contrary to campaign statements.
Meanwhile, criminal, racist Planned Parenthood’s annual report shows that their customers for contraception are down 3.8%, while their more profitable contract killings sold in abortion mills are up 5.3%.
    - – -

Some of the richest billionaire bigots in the world met secretly in New York recently and talked about their favorite causes. Led by Bill Gates, their favorite racist activity is reducing the numbers of the unwashed masses through abortion – especially the black race, targeted at 3 times the abortion rate. Racist, eugenicist, criminal Planned Parenthood sucks up a lot of their funding in one way or another – in addition to your tax money.
Gates would like to start by eliminating 1 of every 9 people on the planet, just about the number of the black race in America.
    - – -

Improved medical care, not abortion, is the solution to the problem of maternal deaths in the developing world. For many years the focus on reducing maternal mortality in the developing world has wrongly centered on legalizing abortion in developing countries.
A new report, “Does Legalizing Abortion Protect Women’s Health?”, compares the impact of improved medical care and legalized abortion on maternal mortality rates in several countries.
Maternal deaths declined sharply in the United States, England and Wales through the 1930s and 1940s, for example, coinciding with advancements in antibiotics, penicillin and blood transfusions. This occurred long before the widespread legalization of abortion. Sri Lanka sharply reduced its maternal mortality rate by making professional midwives and supervisory nurse-midwives widely available in rural areas and by providing a steady supply of appropriate drugs and equipment, improved communication, transportation, and backup services. Yet, Sri Lanka does not have legal abortion except to save the life of the mother.
By comparison, according to the United Nations Population Division (UNPD), there has been no substantial decrease in maternal mortality or child mortality in the developing world since the notorious pro-abortion 1994 International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo and the 1995 Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing.
This is true even though, in that same period, more women have had access to legal abortion than ever before. But if legalization triggers a higher demand for abortion, as it has in most countries, more women injured and scarred in legal abortions will compete for scarce medical resources. The number of abortion-related maternal deaths may actually increase.
Most maternal deaths can be prevented with adequate nutrition, basic health care, and good obstetric care throughout pregnancy, at delivery, and postpartum. To focus on legalized abortion instead is to put women at great unnecessary risk.

Janitor and Disabled American Veterans commander Jim Lakey found a newborn boy in a garbage bin in Sapulpa, OK Sunday morning. The infant was treated in a Tulsa hospital and survived the attempted murder by abandonment. The outcome would likely have been homicide if Mr. Lakey had not happened to be working on Sunday morning.

Now he works so hard as a lead manager, company is grown, and last monthes he comes home from his office late evening, kisses me once and very fast, and then goes to his notebook, papers, documents and seats with it until early morning. But I’m only 29, I’m not old yet, people tell me i am attractive, and surely I need some attenion from my husband. I even never dreams about expensive restaurants, luxury life and holidays at tropic islands and all around the world, I just need regular private relationship with him. When I start to kiss him, Mike only asks me not to bother him and returns to his home work.
Please tell how do I need to act in such situation? I’m young pretty girl and I need his care! Am I doing something wrong? Anybody here had similar problems in past? Please, share your experience with me.

Your site is a refreshing change from the majority of sites I have visited. When I first started visiting web sites I was excited by the potential of the internet as a resource and was very disappointed initially. You have restored my enthusiasm and I thank you for your efforts to share your insights and help the world become a better place.

My home was in foreclosure and I went to this website and they called me and gave me a ton of information to help me get my loan balance reduced and my payments lowered. It might not be the best option for everyone but you can get a lot of really good information from them.
