Kansans down on Obama, Sebelius

Obama HHSWhether because of the tea parties or the passing of just another tax day, April took a toll on President Obama’s standing among Kansans. The latest Survey USA poll in the state, co-sponsored by KWCH, Channel 12, found his approval rating at 44 percent, down 11 points since March and 18 points since he took office. In the same poll, Sens. Pat Roberts and Sam Brownback each had 53 percent approval. As former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ exited the state and joined Obama’s Cabinet, she received her lowest approval rating in at least the past four years — 46 percent, down 9 points since March.

    Hmmm.

President Obama has 81% personal approval nationwide but 44% approval in Kansas.

    Everyone else must be wrong.

I wonder how many of those Republicans in the poll would also support treason against the nation and want to secede?

Brownback and Roberts kept their elected office opinions separate from their beliefs. That’s the price that is paid sometimes.

For a very good explanation of what’s the matter with Kansas, read “What’s the Matter With Kansas?” by Thomas Frank.

That is, if you care what Kansas thinks.

I was born and raised here, I could not care less.

You’re wrong as usual bj. Its Kansas that doesn’t care what Thomas Frank thinks. The title of the book should be “What’s the Matter with Thomas Frank”.

So says the most reflexive winger on the blog.

Bet dollars to donuts that Chris didn’t read the book, and wouldn’t be capable of understanding it if he did.

    Uh yeah, Chris?

Please ask any American OUTSIDE of Kansas and a good portion of the people IN Kansas if they think…

    Kansas matters.

    Kansas is a national joke.

That would be “No” and “Yes” in that order.

Cynical seems to forget that it was 8 years of BushCo that got us to this point. 100 days vs. 8 years. What will your excuse be when the economy turns around under the Obama administration?

All the Radical Leftists on this blog are a small fringe group of nuts, compared to the entire state.

    Get over it.
