So they said

mccaskill“We’re talking about a state that’s as red as Dorothy’s ruby slippers.” — Sen. Claire McCaskill (in photo), D-Mo., marveling at Democrat Kathleen Sebelius’ political success in Kansas

“We don’t want to appear to be frivolous.” — Then-Gov. Sebelius, asking a writer to wait until after her Senate confirmation vote to report that she was spotted Sunday at New Orleans’ Jazz and Heritage Festival

“Some people think that declaring a state of emergency about the flu was a political thing to push the Sebelius nomination through.” — Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America, to the Washington Independent blog

“I don’t think we’re out of the woods. I don’t think we can even find the woods right now.” — Lawrence schools superintendent Randy Weseman, on the prospect of the state economy worsening and school funding shrinking further

I do not recall his name but recently the guy who formed the “Guardian angels” was on a cable news channel and stated that the fly-over of the back up Air force one in NYC was not an unthinking accident.
That is was the Obama administration wanting to see how people would react after the attacks of 9-11.

Rep. Fox of N.C. said yesterday in opposing the hate crimes bill that the bill is named after a fraud.
Even after one of those convicted of the beating and killing of the person the bill is named after.
Said in open court that the victim was targeted by his friend and he because they thought he was Gay.
Fox claimed that it was not a hate crime that is was nothing more then a robbery.
Fox maybe just jealous of Michele Bachman and her title as the kookiest Congresswoman.

The ’some people think’ lines are so pointless. There are ’some people’ that think and can be quoted as saying anything and everything. So what?

Because ’some people think’ something does it automatically become newsworthy or noteworthy?

Because ’some people think’ something and will going on record as being quoted saying it does that argument gain anymore credence or weight?
