Forecast for 2012 favors Obama

obamahandsup7Presidential politics never takes a holiday, not even during the first 100 days of a presidency. Public Policy Polling has President Obama leading in the 2012 election, whether he faces Newt Gingrich (52 to 39 percent), Mike Huckabee (49 to 42 percent), Sarah Palin (53 to 41 percent) or Mitt Romney (50 to 39 percent).

Political predictions this far out are as reliable as a Quigi board, Tarot cards, white magic, black magic, etc.
Little Barry’s inabilities will be come apparent as time passes, and our country continues to falter economically and on the world stage.

As Yogi Berra told us –

“Predictions are tough. Especially when they involve the future.”

But consider the Moose-Dresser is a viable player for the Republic Party.

The Huckster can get the Twice-Born vote and ultimately make them meaningless in national politics.

Mittens is probably the most qualified standard-bearer for the Republic Party, but RepubliCONs aren’t all that interested in competence.

Newtie’s arrogance won’t play outside the realm of true believers. Way too much baggage when it comes down to one-to-one politics.

    The Repub pary is fractured.
“WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Releasing classified memos showing whether harsh Bush-era interrogation methods yielded useful information from terrorism suspects is not necessary, Republican Senator John McCain said on Sunday in a public disagreement with former Vice President Dick Cheney.

After President Barack Obama released four memos this month revealing the Bush administration’s legal justification for methods such as waterboarding — a form of simulated drowning — Cheney called for declassifying any memos showing that these techniques succeeded in producing valuable information.

“No, I don’t think it’s necessary, to be honest with you,” McCain told the CBS program “Face the Nation.”

Many experts say harsh interrogations lead to unreliable information because a person will say anything to stop them.

But the New York Times reported last week that Dennis Blair, Obama’s national intelligence director, told colleagues in a private memo that the harsh Bush-era techniques yielded “high-value information” that “provided a deeper understanding” of the al Qaeda organization.

McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential candidate, also opposed prosecuting officials who worked on interrogation policy in former President George W. Bush’s administration.

    Pick you polls:

“For the first time since Barack Obama was elected president last November, more than half of U.S. voters (53%) say it is at least somewhat likely that the next occupant of the White House will be a Republican. Thirty-one percent (31%) say it is Very Likely.

Thirty-five percent (35%) say it is not very or not at all likely, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Twelve percent (12%) aren’t sure.

This is not an expectation related to the 2012 election. It is a question about the President following Obama which could happen in either 2012 or 2016.

Naturally, there is a partisan divide–77% of Republican voters say it’s likely the next president will be from their party. Just 39% of Democrats agree.

Still, that’s an increase among both parties from previous surveys. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 47% now say a GOP president is likely, while 33% think not.”

    Here’s a sample of ramussen’s polling!
With the election just six days away, incumbent Republican Norm Coleman is back in front of Democratic challenger Al Franken – with his biggest lead since April — in the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota.

Coming off what many view as his strongest debate performance of the campaign last Thursday, Coleman leads Franken 43% to 39% in the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state.

Obama may beat any one of the four candidates listed in the article, but why would the GOP nominate any one of those four? America already said, “No” to these four. It will be fresh blood that has a message that is different from what both parties are throwing out there right now.

The Republicans will have to leave the message of big government, big spending, and wars of aggrssion in order to have a chance.

The Democrats will also have to leave the message of big government, big spending, and wars of aggression, or they will suffer the same fate as their twin brother GOP party.

I don’t really think ‘he’ can think on his own.

“Obama’s speech at the National Academy of Sciences Monday morning hit a brief snag when Obama got ahead of his script.

Laying his plan for a President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, Obama began to name the members of PCAST listed in his prepared remarks – before realizing he’d already introduced them, earlier in his speech.

“In addition to John – sorry, the – I just noticed I jumped the gun here,” Obama said, pausing for several seconds as he looked at the prompter. “Go ahead. Move it up. I had already introduced all you guys.”

The audience, which gave the president a warm reception, responded with a quiet laugh.”

    You’ve got to be kidding . . . . .

Only a fool – and apparantly there are several here – pays any attention to a poll for 2012 now. Worse, it is irrelevent for governing; any officeholder who’s decisions are guided by poll results isn’t fit to hold office.

The reality is this sort of created “news” is what substitutes for reporting these days. And the newspapers then wonder why they’re losing readership, and lamely blaming on-line access to news for their troubles. Right. Give people something worth reading; they’ll read it. If you serve up pap, well . . . .

People, do what is appropriate for this poll – ignore it.

DFB exactly the Republicans will in time finally come either backs to what it was once was. Or a name voice that will overcome the current misdirection will win over and lead the party in a correct direction.
So 2012 is far enough in the future anything is possible, currently it is Obama and the Democratic Party who has the answers to the questions the public has. There is also enough time till 2012 for either it to correctly answer those questions or fall flat on their face. Currently they are suffering from the same ill that helps lead the Republicans to the downfall. Hubris, we win, we lead, we are all there is to be!

Such hubris led to the party becoming pointless and disjointed from the country.
The winds of the electorate change with little if any reason or logic.
Obama may take a downfall not because of any reasonable or logical reason.
It maybe something that in hindsight is frivolous and pointless but still be the reason for the downfall.
    Who knows?

Todd Tiahrt has finally listened to my calls and emails. He is now one of 92 co-sponsors for Ron Paul’s bill HR 1207 “The Federal Reserve Transparency Act”.

Since we cannot gain momentum in the Abolish the Fed movement, we will audit them and give America a clearer explanation for abolishing the Fed.

This audit will expose the Fed and it shroud of secrecy. It will virtually reveal its misdeeds to the public and cause an uproar so great that there will be no other alternative but to abolish the Fed.

It’s a good day to be a Kansan folks. We should praise Tiahrt for this, even if he does make other stupid decisions.

Today’s breaking news, same as yesterday, same as tomorrow:

Corruption and greed plague DC and Wall Street. Obama taxes, begs, borrows and spends as formerly free markets falter and fail. Unemployment, bankruptcy, despair soar. Swine flu hits Mexico. World Health Organization declares flu pandemic. Schools close in Mexico and Texas. Panic spreads. Earthquake hits Mexico. “Illegal” guns flow from U.S. to Mexico. Illegal drugs, illegal aliens, crime, disease and violence flow back. CO2 emmissions threaten to overheat the earth, raise sea levels, drown millions. War continues to spread in the Middle East. Corruption, crime, violence, greed, plagues, pestilence, drought, floods, fire, earthquakes, war and rumors of war. Panic consumes all. Common sense abandoned. We must submit or die!!!!

Not one to waste a good crisis, Obama quickly blames America, humbly apologizes and bows to world government.

Newt Gingrich? Mike Huckabee? Sarah Palin? Mitt Romney? We couldn’t be any luckier if Obama won in 2012 with the same regurgitated pool of incompetent Republicans running for Office. I guess the Republicans never heard Einsteins quote. That doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results, is insanity. The Republican Party, has four years to get it’s act together and re-define itself and go in a new and better direction. But if history is any predictor for the future, then it should be to no surprise to anyone that they’ll revert back to their old ways. The GOP needs to be a little more inclusive, and maybe not so desperate.

I’m still on the side, that I don’t think any people under the Bush Administration should be prosecuted for using harsh interrogation techniques. We were attacked by terrorists, we didn’t make the soundest decisions, add the tinge of paranoia, fear and anger that was well expected from being attacked on our own soil, and it’s easy to see, that using harsh interrogation techniques was a natural response. Not excusable, but still, like Obama said in some form or another, lets put it in the past. Lets not throw past leaders in prison, Vindication is a pretty immature emotion. I think we should be better than that.
