It turns out that Kansas didn’t escape the 2008 blue tide after all: John McCain took the state’s electoral votes, of course. But according to a Swing State Project analysis, the 3rd Congressional District voted for Barack Obama over McCain 51 to 48 percent. That district, which consists of Johnson and Wyandotte counties and part of Douglas County, has long been represented by Democrat Dennis Moore in Congress, but went with George Bush in 2000 and 2004.

What do you expect from the bums in WyCo? They’re like that idiot in Florida who expect the Naive Messiah to pay for their mortgage and gas. Missouri ought to annex WyCo east of the Speedway and merge KCK with KCMO. That way, no more confusion over Kansas City. And Kansas can excise the cancerous lesion which is most of KCK. Try driving down K-5 through town. You’ll fear for your life.

Regular, I would gladly trade in my Kansas plates – if Kansas will allow the eastern third of the state to secede from the State.
