That’s the only thing I’ll miss about Bush…I often got the best belly laugh from the stupid things he’d say. I’ll miss the way Jay Leno made fun off him all the time. There is no way Obama will provide the comedy fodder that Bush did..he’s way too smart, thank God.

Point taken. Deeds outweigh words, so we’ll just have to see what happens. There’s blame enough to go around. But the bus is headed for the cliff; do we stay on the bus and argue who best can put on the brakes, or do we stop the insanity and deal with the problem (stopping the bus, or country from going over the cliff)?

Odd, I thought China was the world’s biggest polluter now. Plus, the old Iron Curtain countries have notorious pollution problems that still exist.

Perhaps we’ll know better in a few days when we hear from Obama and his 52 states.

Partisanship is a major part of what got us in the position we’re in now. It’s a mindset we can ill afford considering the condition of our economy. Neither Democrats or Republicans can solve our problems alone. Maybe it’s time to put country before party for a change.
