"Man, pictures would be cool!",---Pleefer

Pleefer, it was simply awesome from the 'saddle' between the north and south summit.

http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:WeKYeYkP2AoJ:www.geocities.com/ehtue/massive.html+Mt.+Massive+saddle&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us

I wish I had pictures, but my wife was carrying the camera, I the water and my handgun, and weight is a factor at 14,000+ ft. elevation.
She got very tired and the weather started to look threatening at about 1000 ft. vertical elevation below the saddle, maybe an hour or more climb, so we decided she would return to timberline with a group coming down. The threat of lighting bothered her and me too. See took the camera as we didn't think of it before she headed down.
When I reach the saddle, before heading on up to the highest summit I looked over west toward Aspen and saw the most incredible view I have ever seen or will this side of heaven. There were several, maybe half a dozen or more, individual storm cells <b>BELOW</b> me with lighting flashing within them and between them. I was looking down on the storms from above, and on to the valley and mountains below. It was a reverent moment!

At the summit the U.S.National Geological Survey had a bronze marker right at the summit and a PVC tube with weather proof end caps for those reaching the summit to document the time and date, along with their home address. I was pretty proud to sign it and get headed down as fast as I safely could.
What an experience.

More discription and pics.

Who's the Chicken Little?

But it's true. And it may explain some "climate change" as well. But maybe not. Maybe the Sun doesn't govern our Earth.

I really need to start thinking about leaving this entire country.

There are waaaaaaaay bigger fish to fry and we're stuck arguing about global warming and the "no-difference" in man and woman.

I'm sitting here trying to "come together" and yet, being contrary and carrying on a non-fight/non-issue is what makes people feel like they're "equal"

How about, "we're all equally fu cked if we don't stop these politicians and their owner's, the bankster's, from robbing our country and leaving us a fat tab and an empty shell of a country"?

After we get our country back, then you both (dems and cons) can go back to fighting over nothing. Actually, I'd hope that grown-ups prevail and their would no longer be a need to fight over these fake issues. Maybe when there is a time when the "power's" don't need us to be divided, the ERA would be passed. Right now though, they need us fighting. All I'm asking is that we can look past the sh it for a few months and fight the thing that keeps us divided.

And yeah Chas as much as you want to soften the word and make it politically "correct" a difference in biology is unequal. Same as a fat man weighed against a skinny man is unequal.

Alright, let's get graphic.

This clitoris is a little wee-wee, so it's kind of equal. The ballzac could have been labia, almost equal. I have nips, same as woman.

Biologically unequal, but not quite different.

How stupid, how convoluted...yet it's equally fun too!

"Pleefer, the only difference you have pointed to is biological… That isnt unequal… That is different biology…. Geez, sometimes you are such a moron!!"-Chas

Ya think?

That's my whole point.

I was pretty sure I wasn't being vague. I'm fugging stunned, are you all <i>really</i> this slow?

I said women were superior in my view ONLY because they can have a kid. Other than that women are equally as useless and equally as stupid as most of us "moronic" men.

Shiiiiit....forget it. You win.

I can do that cosmos, I can do that.
That’s the beauty of this county, at least to this point, I can work to earn, and earn to spend, according to my decisions…..not yours faux scientist.

Hey bawks,

You should prove your point to <b>all</b> of the scientists who have researched AGW, from those worldwide today, back to Arrhenius and others in the 1800's

http://www.aip.org/history/climate/timeline.htm

When it's cold outside, open the windows and see how much CO2 you can produce running the heat full-time. When it's hot in the summer, run the A/C full-time with the windows open. And when it's 70 deg F. outside, run both your heater and A/C.

That will definitely refute the AGW science done by all those scientists. /sarcasm OFF

Yes, we ARE equals. As people. We are NOT the same.

I don't consider myself superior to any man, well unless he happens to be conservative or just a flat out jerk.

But in general, men and women both have something to bring to the table. Equal as in...hired for the same job at the same time and do the same work. We should be teammates rather than divisive.

Feminists are trying to make that happen on an equal field, minus the nonsense. Equal as in, black white , equal. Men women, equal. Different is something to celebrate, but not less than or more than.

I want to climb badly. I'm jealous. My friend just climbed Mt. Whitney a few years back. He said it was hell to climb but nothing compares.

Let's see, actually Mt. Massive is 14,421 ft., the lower peak is 14,340.
Maybe that's why I was one whipped puppy.

I AM SAYING THAT MEN AND WOMEN ARE INHERENTLY NOT EQUAL. I AM NOT SAYING THAT WOMEN SHOULDN'T BE TREATED AS EQUALS, LEGALLY.

SHOULD I SLOW DOWN FURTHER?

"Is there some fantastic thing about standing while you pee, really? Am I really envious of such a thing?"---P_mama

Oh yeah, you ought to try it. It's really handy (get it) when you are out doors and need to go.
Several years ago I climbed Mt. Massive [14,340 ft.], it is part of the Sawatch Range in Colorado. When I summitted there were four women at the summit. One was squatted down attending nature's call. When I came around a large bolder surprising us both she got up.....and wet her pants. Now see, if she had done it like I do, that wouldn't have happened.
Wow, was I one whipped puppy by the time I got down off that mountain.
