More than ‘disappointments’

Speaking of Jon Stewart. . . . At his final press conference, President Bush cited as “disappointments” being wrong about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the Abu Ghraib abuses. “No, these are not disappointments,” Stewart argued on “The Daily Show.” “When the prize under your Diet Coke cap is a coupon for more Diet Coke, that is a disappointment. X-ray specs are a disappointment.”

Soon, John Stewart will run out of Bush material when he leaves office in a few days.

Of course, the leftists in this country think Stewart is someone to look up to for guidance and who should be anointed as their political saviors.

WMD’s were never the issue; they were the lie used to sell a war to the American public that was never about terrorism and all about oil and ideology. I’m sure that the administration was “disappointed” at finding no WMD’s, but they knew beforehand that they didn’t exist. 9/11 forced their hand before they were prepared, and they forgot to supply the WMD’s and really had to scramble then, to justify their dishonest war!

Yes, some would call those major blunders.

I think Jon Stewart is often very entertaining! This episode was too good not to watch! Often during the abysmal years of bushco it was good to laugh to keep from crying!

It is a shame that the Bush basher’s can’t take a clue from The One and show a little class. cnn.com is carrying a story that says, in part, “President-elect Barack Obama said today that he “always thought [Bush] was a good guy.”

And, of course, msm and Bush haters dismiss, ignore, or sweep under the rug the president’s work on improving AIDS research, funding and medicine distribution in Africa that by one estimate has saved millions of lives.

Nope…nothing positive he did is worth noting..just hatred, jokes and continued barbs.

    Sad.

Funny, I haven’t met a comedian, political or otherwise, whom I would anoint as a “political savior.” I was under the impression the right anointed the Hannitys, Coulters and Limbaughs as their political saviors. Funny how that works, huh, reg.

Question: which political party had a radio talker or comedian as a guest of honor at one of its national conventions?

The conservatives had their version of the Daily Show called, The Half Hour Comedy Hour. How’s that show doing?

Oh I’m sure Jon will find fodder out there somewhere. I’ll gladly take a stronger stable America for a less comedic quality one.

Here’s the scoop….the party to celebrate Obama’s historic election to the presidency will be held next Friday at The Anchor in downtown Wichita (just East of Washington on Douglas). The party should start around 6:30 in the back room
To celebrate Obama’s agenda of inclusiveness and reaching across the aisle, ALL are welcome :)

Every sighted person with basic intelligence knew each and every time President Bush was going to “disappoint” someone, somehow or outright lie.
    HIS LIPS WERE MOVING!

Now someone can explain why Europe found Iraqi WMDs leaving for Syria in 2003, and why Europe watched Syria test a few of them down in Sudan in 2004!
