The criminal investigation of former Attorney General Paul Morrison (in photo) is now over, along with his once-shining career in public service. His conduct during an extramarital affair with an employee did not involve criminal wrongdoing, as Johnson County special prosecutors concluded Wednesday. But it was unprofessional, irresponsible, reckless and beyond dumb, which is why Morrison needed to step down late last year. Now, with his political opponent, former Attorney General Phill Kline, also in his last few weeks of public office in the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office, and appointed Attorney General Steve Six doing such a solid job, all the drama in the office of Kansas’ top cop seems to be over at last.
This, by the way, was Kline’s statement, in full, regarding the decision of special prosecutors Robert Arnold III and Timothy Keck: “I am pleased the investigation is completed and have full faith in the integrity of the investigation and decision of Mr. Keck and Mr. Arnold to decline the filing of charges.”

Where is Paul Morrison working these days?
He might be a good candidate for Governor.
We’re not going to miss Kline’s Mamma Drama.
If he gets saved, he could win.
No criminal wrongdoing, which meant, someone LIED.
Now while I agree it was dumb and bad and all of that, why should one lose their job for an affair when the other person made false accusations?
It’s time now to look at AG Six for ignoring the abuse of childen by SRS. Six protects SRS. He needs to go. I personally think that Paul Morrison should take the lawsuits against SRS, local police force and counties in which the abused children live. He could become a multi – millionaire.
Whether he takes the cases or not – it’s coming.
That’s why Sebelius was denied a cabinet post – Obama knows that she can’t run SRS or her own state.
Who are the 4 attorneys and 4 staff that incoming JoCo DA Howe is firing, and did the abortion lobby tell him to do it?
Riding with PK is not a good career plan, to that I can testify.
The better question is whether Mr. Howe is leaving any Kline hires in the office.
Is he, Parkay?
I would assume an incoming DA or even a County prosecutor can replace all the assistant prosecutors if they want too
