Couldn’t believe that with Europe, Asia, and most of the world facing a global financial meltdown, and all the financial experts stating that ‘time is of the essence’ on dealing with the frozen credit and lack of confidence and concrete action, Sen. Roberts is actually boasting about trying to block the Economic Rescue effort.
Wake up Slattery, you should be all over him for his lack of leadership and for putting his re-election above country!
You’d only alienate those RW’ers who aren’t going to vote for you anyway but liberals and moderates would appreciate Roberts being taken to task.

That’s what I’m thinking they get their 401k statements, and if they don’t flat out have heart attacks or suicide themselves, they might not still be able to bring themselves to vote against the R brand, but they very well may cop out by staying home and not voting.

Unfortunately Phantom, both Roberts and Tankerless Todd will get re-elected.

Other predictions:

259 bond will lose.
Peterjohn will win
Gabel will lose
McCain will carry KS – but lose big nationally
Democrats will gain in Congress but not quite filibuster-proof in Senate
The national mood just might save Boyda’s seat – that will be close.
