Sebelius vs. the Comedy Central men

Here is the full text of Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ letter to Stephen Colbert about his broadside against Canton, Kan. The Kansas City Star’s Prime Buzz blog also notes that after Jon Stewart blasted her Democratic response to the State of the Union address early this year, referring to her as a “cougar,” Sebelius sent Stewart a note and a T-shirt reading, “Don’t Fear the Cougar.”

Politicians are so often trash-talking, mud-slinging, stern ideologues, that it is nice to see a good sense of humor displayed.

Sebelius watches comedy central on her own time! THAT IS ROCKIN! I knew I loved that governor.

I wonder how many other politicians watch…it is the best two shows around.

Ha! Loved this response on the old gray mare from the referenced article by one of the bloggers there.

I’m hopeful that when she does appear on Colbert, she’ll have a lighter touch than with her SOTU response, which was about as inspiring as two-day-old oatmeal.

    :D

Has it occurred to any of you geniuses that this whole thing was a big put up designed to get K.S. some national airtime to bolster her VP chances? It also allowed her to have a “Sister Soujah moment”, with her bashing of a liberal icon like Colbert.
P.S. Comedy Central is for losers. No wonder the left loves it so much.

Wow, very impressive letter from the Gov.

She is surely qualified to be VP. She watches this crap on TV and has the time to write such a wonderful letter. (I wonder when she finds time for being the Gov?)

Yes, this one letter will gain her fame and let the whole country know how qualified she is to be VP.

Losers. Take the cob out of your azz and learn to have a laugh. Oh wait, that’s right, you’re one of those who laugh at Limbaugh. You from Canton originally?

Kathleen is mad with power and a serious egomaniac if she thinks she’s on the same level with Stephen Colbert. He has more charisma and personality in his little finger than she has in her entire political career.

Haha “Don’t Fear The Cougar.” I’m not sure if Jon Stewart knows one of the more popular slang definitions of a “cougar” (Older woman who likes having intimate relations with significantly younger men …hey I didn’t make it up). It’s pretty awesome though that the Kansas Gov. admits to watching Comedy Central or any politician for that matter.

You must have missed a recent Daily Show story from their “women’s correspondent” on, uhm, “cougars”.
