Wow. 110 million years, and spiders are still around.

Yet show about 200,000 years ago and think <i>we're</i> in charge! :)

Gotta go now. I goof off too much as it is. :(

"I believe wilki said there are 30 languages spoken in Afghanistan, sounds like the inspiration for the tower of babel."
----

Genesis 11:4. God seeing what the people were doing, confused their languages and scattered the people throughout the earth.

Well, you know, some think He might do something about what's going on in that neck of the woods again! I think if an Omnipotent being were to intervene some would be really surprised at how!

1,260,000 dodos! and soooo cute! Look I found something along the lines of dods here:

Ancient web spins evolution story

The oldest-known spider web with prey still entrapped has been found preserved in a chunk of amber in Spain.

The mesh of silk strands - snaring the remains of a fly, beetle, mite and wasp - dates back 110 million years to the time of the dinosaurs.

The fossil web appears to have been designed along the same lines as the round nets woven by modern spiders.

The find, described in Science, sheds light on the early evolution of spiders and the insects they fed on.

The web consists of some 26 silk strands preserved in a thin layer of amber together with an arachnid's prey.

<i>Rage, do you have a dodo? I’ll talk of anything to avoid those little boys and their pissing ocntest on the other thread!</i>

Without actually seeing it, let me guess.

Open thread.

Some combination thereof of "the usual suspects" (naming them will just draw it over here!). And a whole lotta personal attacks and not much discussion of anything else.

Was I close?

I just heard J M Walker confessing to being a liar. Let’s call the press.

Or wait, might be I hyped that up.

But heck, I’ll play along.

J M Walker claims he’s a liar.

“Obama claimed on May 13, 2008, that we don’t have enough “Arabic interpreters, Arab language speakers” in Afghanistan because they are all being used in Iraq. Obama thereby demonstrated the intellectual laziness and incuriosity that characterizes his campaign: they don’t speak Arabic in Afghanistan, and, anyway, interpreters are drawn from local populations, not shipped around the world.”

Oh, pul-lease. Yeah, it eas a gaffe–there probably isn’t that high of a demand for Pashtun speakers elsewhere. But, far from being intellectually lazy, Obama realized in mid-spiel that he had misppoken without anyone having to tell him:

And obviously, they may not speak Arabic, but the various dialects that they speak in Afghanistan — oftentimes people who speak Urdu or Pashtun or whatever the languages are — they’re going to be needed in those areas, and a lot of them have ended up being placed elsewhere. So, we’ve got to focus on Afghanistan.”

(Before you scream about Media Matters, watch the Youtube video of Obama to which it links)

The overall point being (obviously, to those of us previously aware of this critical issue) that the lack of foreign speakers in the Middle East that we have–whether the language is Arabic, Urdu or Farsi–is inexcusably low.

Sheesh, Adlai Stevenson was right. Obama is probably going to lose.

He needs a majority.

<i>“Obama claimed on May 13, 2008, that we don’t have enough “Arabic interpreters, Arab language speakers” in Afghanistan because they are all being used in Iraq. Obama thereby demonstrated the intellectual laziness and incuriosity that characterizes his campaign: they don’t speak Arabic in Afghanistan, and, anyway, interpreters are drawn from local populations, not shipped around the world.”</i>

Oh, pul-lease. Yeah, it eas a gaffe--there probably isn't that high of a demand for Pashtun speakers elsewhere. But, far from being intellectually lazy, Obama realized in mid-spiel that he had misppoken without anyone having to tell him:

<i>And obviously, they may not speak Arabic, but the various dialects that they speak in Afghanistan -- oftentimes people who speak Urdu or Pashtun or whatever the languages are -- they're going to be needed in those areas, and a lot of them have ended up being placed elsewhere. So, we've got to focus on Afghanistan."</i>

(Before you scream about Media Matters, watch the Youtube video of Obama to which it links)

The overall point being (obviously, to those of us previously aware of this <i>critical</i> issue) that the lack of foreign speakers in the Middle East that we have--whether the language is Arabic, Urdu or Farsi--is inexcusably low.

Sheesh, Adlai Stevenson was right. Obama is probably going to lose.

He needs a majority.

“How’s that job going you are about to lose?”
_________________________________________________________

At least I work for a living unlike you the welfare Queen of the dung heap you eat from.

Actually I have revenue streams that I tend to so I don’t “clock in” at a job per se.

Sucks to be a government dependant like you Reguliar.
-----------------------------
Revenue streams? Do you sell weed or something?

Exactly what do you do for a living?

Does it involve a mop?

“Did you watch the video?”

Now I have. Hogwash. Have you seen the video?
The liars at LibKos are liars. McCain is not for a draft Period. Find another source and I’ll believe it.
====================================================
If a liars a liar, is he really lying, or, as a double negative type thing, is he really telling the truth? Are we being subjected to true republican logic, or is that a true conundrum (con being the key)? Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?
