Hey ksfg, I think its not so much about cons vs mods as it is the joco bluebloods and the east of I-135 folks vs the rest of the State. The joco fatcats act as though western Kansas doesn’t exist and the people in the west continually have a raised hand with an erect middle finger pointed at Topeka and the KC suburbs.

I’m not known for defending repukes, but… I have NEVER heard Steve Morris called out for being a womanizer. Or for inappropriate touching. Got any proof? Or are you an example of the fracturing of the ks gop between moderates and wingnut conservatives like pauli?

I’m betting the latter.

If you think thats bad, what about poor Susan Peters. For weeks now she could not hide the fact that she is KS’s biggest fan. Don’t be surprised if she is off the air for a couple of weeks so she can recover from the severe bout of depression she must surely be undergoing.

Steve Morris has no idea how to lead. Sebelius tells him what to do and when to do it.

He is such a joke. Maybe someday he will learn to keep his hands to himself instead of touching all the women. Perhaps that is why he get’s along with Kathleen so well.

Kathleen has had virtually NO coattails! Yeah, she got morrison, another republican turncoat, to win the AG’s race, but frankly, a yellow dog could have beaten phillllll. The senate remained EXACTLY the same after 09. The democrats picked up a few seats in the ks house, but those could have EASILY been attributed to the national antirepublican wave, and not governor “leadership”. Boyda anyone? Part of the antirepublican wave, not because she was a democrat.

In fact, since governor leadership won as insurance commissioner, NO kansas democrat has won a statewide race, other than sebelius, and the above mentioned morrison race against philllllll.

And like I said, a yella dawg could have beaten klein. Too bad they couldnt find a real democrat to run. One without so many skeletons in his closet, ya know?

Brownback will be Governor some day, and he won’t through fundraisers for George Tiller in the Governors mansion, like Kathleen Sebelius did!

In the “open seats” for Senate, Conservative Republicans did very well.
Most of those races will go to the Republican, in the General.
Actually, in close Kansas races, I am very relieved that Kathleen is NOT on the ballot this year.
She would have some coat tails.
When Dole ran for President, the coat tails for Kansas Republican races really helped.

Morris probably intends to get something done in the legislature this year. And isnt he crosswise with the uber cons in the party? I wonder who will come out on top in the republican intramural wars for leadership positions.

And just for contrast, I wonder what neufeld would have to say about governor “leadership”? heheheheheh!

Sebelius is more moderate republican than progressive democrat. Except when she’s looking to move on up. Then she’s DLC all the way!
