Rush Limbaugh celebrates the 20th anniversary of his national political talk show today. Columnist Brent Castillo wrote that Limbaugh is a successful because he “finds a balance between humor and politics” and he “stands for ideals that have made America strong.”

Yeah, Castillo finds racism funny.
Rush to a Black caller, “Take that bone out of your nose.”
Rush about Michael Fox suffering from Parkinson’s, “He is exaggerating the effects of the disease. He’s moving all around and shaking and it’s purely an act. … This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn’t take his medication or he’s acting.”
This one speaks for itself, “Too many whites are getting away with drug use…Too many whites are getting away with drug sales…The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them, and send them up the river, too.”
Rush on mentioning how torture is just a fun past time, “This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation…I’m talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You ever heard of the need to blow some steam off?”
Yup, good ol’ Brent finds racism, rape, torture, and disease funny. Can the Eagle give me a column so I can make fun of conservatives every week?
Some more quotes for Brent who finds racism funny.
“The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.”
“They oughtta change Black History Month to Black Progress Month and start measuring it.”
“Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.”
Gee, I wonder why a Rush listener would feel compelled to go shoot a bunch of liberals and hate Black people.
I don’t listen to Limbaugh.
However, it should be amusing to read all the “foaming at the mouth” Liberals and their response to this topic. :D
Yeah Regular.
Perhaps MonkeyHawk could come by and tell us his key to success as a Radio talk show host…
Or he could share with us his vulgar interview with Ashcroft.
What a great example of liberal values on the air!
Not.
Seriously though, good job Rush.
Here is to another wonderful 20 years of Excellence in Broadcasting!
Brent Castillo wrote that Limbaugh is a successful because he “finds a balance between humor and politics” and he “stands for ideals that have made America strong.”
Wow. Values Boys bears his soul, but it looks just like he bared something else (to be fair, it may have something to do with the proximity of his head).
I first heard “Rush Limbo” on KNSS radio in 1990. I thought he was a sensationalistic cretin who would forever remain obscure within the ranks of AM talk radio, at least until he obtained more appropriate employment as an assistant manager at Radio Shack.
I had forgotten PT Barnum’s maxim: “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
P.S. I can barely bear his soul myself.
Ah, listening to Rush Limbaugh. One of the things that makes life tolerable. Oh, and Maggotbreath, attacking the NAACP does not make one a racist. Since when is any group above criticism, especially when they claim to represent a whole race of people, but hold to a narrow and bigoted view of things. (blame whitey for everything).
Rush, may you proudly continue to rule the AM airwaves until the Lord comes to take you home, and may the totally misnamed “un-fairness doctrine” continue to rot in hell where it so richly deserves to be.
Values boy says…
“If not for Limbaugh, there would be fewer conservatives today. I and many others were affirmed in our conservative ideals after hearing him on the radio. It was in the early ’90s, when I was in college, that I first heard Limbaugh. His daily monologues helped solidify my maturing conservative sensibilities. He offered a perspective that you couldn’t easily find elsewhere.”
Oh I’ll give the fat s o b that.
He gets millions of people to think and vote against their own best interest. He reaches down from his golden throne and tells the idiot listeners “You can do it!”
As a result we get a third rate hack like Castillo every Thursday trying and failing to prove Rush right.
I was wrong about Rush Limbaugh only one time.
When he was found out for his drug addiction. I actually felt sorry for him. I thought though that the experience might make him grow.
It didn’t. It made him an even bigger s o b.
But the times they are a changin’!
Fairness Doctrine baby! For every hour of this bastards lies I want an hour exposing him and his for what they truly are.
“Mega Ditto” Rush fans. It is nice to hear someone on the radio that is not forever putting down America and our values. I get so tired of the MSM and their holier than thou attitude as though us Americans should feel guilty for what we have. They have a lot more than I do, they are the ones that should feel guilty. I think the rich along with their media outlets are projecting their guilt on the rest of us.
It is refreshing to hear someone like Rush. He will tell it like it is. I have noticed that when he says something on the air such as how the surge was working that the MSM finally had to admit it themselves especially when their boy Barack Obama finally said it too. However, he was so arrogant that he said he would have still voted against it because his idea “might have worked better”. It is not his color or race that we are against, it is his stubborness and arrogance.
SEE?
There’s one of his idiot minions now.
“Rush, may you proudly continue to rule the AM airwaves until the Lord comes to take you home, ”
PLEASE let that be really, REALLY soon.
Or ya know what?
Maybe not.
Let frogmouth stick around and watch everything HE holds dear circle the drain and disappear.
Yep, the learning curve for the dems appears to be a little flat. They are on the verge of nominating a candidate more arrogant than Lurch and dumber than the Goracle!
We’ve actually got a chance beating ‘em in November with a broken down ol’ over the hill POW!
HEHEHEHE
“candidate more arrogant than Lurch and dumber than the Goracle!
Your right of course Mr.Price, Thanks Rush!

Rush is so talented that people who hate him listen to him. I love his humor. I hope we have at least 20 more years of Rush.
I believe that Rush’s ratings mean that he attracts about 16 million viewers who listen at least five minutes. Over exactly what time period, whether it’s a day or a week, I couldn’t ascertain. Since Rush has the noon to 3 p.m. slot on about 1000 radio stations which cover every major market in the U.S., this doesn’t surprise me much. .
Contrast this with Dr. Dean Edell, who attracts about 4 million viewers on about 300 stations, and does it in one hour. Although his show is scheduled to fall after Rush’s it is most often delayed into unattractive time slots. Edell’s show is medically based but his opinions on many subjects are solidly progressive. The popularity of his show explodes the view that liberal or progressive talk radio can’t succeed.
Interesting. Compare the “humor” of Rush to Monkeyhawk’s Ashcroft interview, and I think we get some insight: archconservative “humor” is different from what the rest of us call humor, even in the realm of political humor.
Really, look at Rush’s “humor”, if it can be seriously called that: it’s all exaggerated attack and ridicule. There’s no trace of subtlety or cleverness. It isn’t just that the laughs are the expense of others: the underlying point, when there is one, is political bromide or hectoring nannyism, expressing disdain for these people who dare to have opinions different from his own.
There’s no slippage of a concept, no unexpected twists, no balloon-puncturing, nothing beyond schadenfraude.
I mentioned Monkeyhawk’s Ashcroft interview at the beginning not because it’s the best example of political humor I’ve heard (not even close), but, despite being rude, crude, and in Ashcroft’s face (in the usual manner of modern talk-radio hosts), it was nonetheless funny.
How? Ashcroft was asked, quite seriously and directly, if the sex lives of Americans was the business of government. Ashcroft answered yes.
Monkeyhawk’s riposte flipped the assertion: Okay, John, since my sex life is your business, then your sex life is my business! And hence the inquiry into his wife’s tastes.
See the difference? . . . .
I didn’t think so. File that under the same category of those poor souls (conservative and otherwise) unable to understand Steven Colbert. It’s not shallow enough.
Brent Castillo says Rush “stands for ideals that have made America strong.”
So, Americans should be a three times divorced, drug addict, drug felon political hack?
Cool, I guess its time to lower my standards!
“Nathaniel” woke up this morning thinking of me –
“Perhaps MonkeyHawk could come by and tell us his key to success as a Radio talk show host…
“Or he could share with us his vulgar interview with Ashcroft.”
(I hope it wasn’t a wet dream, boy.)
I actually have a lot of respect for Limbaugh’s craft. Putting 15 hours a week on the radio — of anything; polka music, a Motown retrospective, political blather… — is more difficult than it sounds.
Now, as the token liberal on a right-wing station, I never got daily talking-points faxes from Karl Rove or the Republic Party, but I don’t begrudge it. Limbaugh gets the same “advisories” as O’Rielly and Hannity, Beck, and all the other CON talkers and he presents them in a format better than most.
It’s not without irony I notices that the Limbaugh-tomized masses consider themselves to be independent thinkers at the same time their hosannas to their guru is “mega-ditto!” But CONs tend to be oblivious to irony.
As for “vulgarity,” nothing seems more vulgar to me than Rush’s little ditty, “Barack the Magic Negro.”
Chuckle… I’m sure there are going to be all sorts of intellectual discussions here on this thread.
Rush Limbaugh was a groundbreaker, a pioneer who pushed the envelope and brought conservatism mainstream. He illustrates absurdity by being absurd. Liberals missing the humor gene don’t get that.
He is far from perfect, but after talking for 3 hours a day for 20 years with folks like Media Matters ready to twist every word, he has made amazingly few gaffs. And he remains highly influential.
Happy anniversary, Rush.
Rage says, “archconservative “humor” is different from what the rest of us call humor…”
—-
That is a fact! The borg sacrificed their funny for the common good when they had those partial lobotomies to get “hooked.” (pun intended)
Our little blog has a rush-like poster — RedWhiteNBlue! Absurdity to such an extreme it’s tasteless, vile, tawdry, uncouth and vulgar.
He is far from perfect, but after talking for 3 hours a day for 20 years with folks like Media Matters ready to twist every word, he has made amazingly few gaffs.
Now that’s funny!
He illustrates absurdity by being absurd. Liberals missing the humor gene don’t get that.
I saw his TV show once or twice. On one show, he took an example of some woman who objected to the dress-laden icon on women’s restrooms.
Rush responded with a serious of alternative — seat up, seat down, etc. Haha.
As lame as that was, but the closest thing to humor I can recall him ever doing.
In fact, Google “Rush Limbaugh” humor and see how easy it isn’t to find anyrhing funny. And I challenge Rush’s fans to actually produce some humor from Rush, and post it here.
P.S. Feel free to explain the “absurdity.”
Okay. It’s 6:30 here, and I’m on my first bup of toffee. Could you tell?
20 years of lowering the level of political discourse in America. Congrats!
Here you go Rage, Rush Limbaugh doing his John McCain impression.
Figured Liberals would laugh this. Tis humorous in a stinging sort of way. :)

HLP – Is this really what you think of McCain? And I wonder if you would still be laughing if someone dared to call your son a broken down ol’ over the hill POW someday?
A recent article in NYT magazine about Rush that may help humor impaired like Rage see the light.
“So far Limbaugh’s tactic has been to frame his attacks on Obama in the words of liberals themselves. Among the musical parodies, which he writes with the comedian Paul Shanklin, in his arsenal is “Barack the Magic Negro,” sung to the tune of “Puff the Magic Dragon,” by a dead-on Al Sharpton impersonator. The song was met by indignation when he first played it in March — until Limbaugh revealed that the title and the idea of Obama as a redemptive black man à la Sidney Poitier — came from an op-ed piece written by a black commentator, David Ehrenstein, in The Los Angeles Times.
Sharpton is too much a master of such signification to miss the art in Limbaugh’s boomerang trick. “I despise his ideology,” Sharpton told me, “but Rush is a lot smarter and craftier than Don Imus. Limbaugh puts things in a way that he can’t be blamed for easy bigotry. Some of the songs he does about me just make me laugh. But he’s the most dangerous guy we have to deal with on the right, including O’Reilly and Imus. They come at you with an ax. He uses a razor.”

My Uncle was a Republican. He also fought in the Battle of the Bulge against Nazis.
Do you think my Uncle is a Nazi PMom?
My ancestors were Republicans (Whigs before) and set up Underground Railroad stops as conductors to help escaped slaves.
Do you think they were Nazis PMom?
My Dad was in the Navy during WWII, although never in combat, he was part of the force that were fighting the Nazi’s.
Do you think my Dad is a Nazi PMom?
Do you think I’m a Nazi PMom?
Why do you make such statements of ignorant hate, PMom?
Rush had Castillo, at the ‘Phillipine phillandering trip’!
So, in response to my challenge, Regular produces a Youtube video of Limbaugh doing a lame impression of McCain, making fun of his age (wow! how creative! I would have never thought of that!). But at least Reggie answered the question.
Anyone got anything more side-splitting than that?
Outlander preferred to steer me to an extended profile of Rush by Zev Chafets, presumably to explain Rush to me. That’s nice (I politely bookmarked it), but all I wanted was to see some truly funny Rush.
I’m still waiting.
Here you go Rage, not a video by Rush Limbaugh, but a commentary on him. Figured this is more your speed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Etf8R-MSaE
P.S. Here’s the actual article to which Rush referred. It’s pretty clearly a statement about far race relations haven’t come in this country.
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-ehrenstein19mar19,0,5335087.story
Agree or disagree, Rush ignores and trivializes the writer’s point. And the “humor,” we are supposed to believe, is the absurdity of the original reference. Even in context, it’s clear that isn’t the point–and it’s once again, pretty damn lame satire if it is.
Still waiting. . .or is “Barack the Magic Negro” supposed to be really funny?

———————-
I heard part of it, don’t think it’s funny.
Of course, I have a long family history against any type of racism, however subtle.
(underground railroad conductors)
Rush Limbaugh is a perfect example of H. L. Menken’s cynical observation that “no one ever got rich over-estimating the mind of the American public.”
He tells the greedy, selfish, racist white male exactly what he wants to hear–you and only you are the ‘real America,’ you have a right to be rich (even if you’re not), and everything you get is because you’re a hard-working patriot. You owe society nothing, particularly the “colored” and working moms . . .
Ya gotta admit, it skewers Al Sharpton and the Obama movement with the words of a black, liberal LA Times writer. And even Al thinks it’s funny.
Now that a black liberal thinks it’s funny Rage, it’s OK to take the cob out of your butt and laugh at the absurdity.
Regular–
In case you haven’t learned by now, racism and anti-racism is not genetic.
It has to be taught, as the song goes, it has to be very carefully taught . . .
Not genetic, but values are passed down.
And, I’ve listened and observed the writings of my ancestors regarding the matter.
Rage–
Limbaugh was on David Letterman once and tried his brand of humor–
“Chelsea Clinton has the beauty of a car hood ornament.”
That apparently slays among the right-wing.
Letterman, visibly appalled, replied very slowly, “Rush . . . do you ever . . . do you ever think that . . . maybe you’re just . . . full of hot gas?”
The audience exploded in cheers and applause.
Yes, I’ve read your impressive pedigree.
Do you think they would have let the racist comments of Hank and Nathan go unchallenged like you do?
Well, I believe Political Mama gets the award for first Nazi comparison in the thread.
*EYE ROLL*
She’s talking about today’s RepubliCONs, and I tend to agree.
Obviously, Eisenhower was a decent guy–look at how he taxed the rich.
Goldwater before he died said that fundamentalists and neo-cons had destroyed the real conservative movement.
Oh, yeah, it’s stone-cold hilarious. Sigh. . .
See for yourselves, folks (and see how much it actually uses the “words of a black, liberal LA Times writer.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzCUmTBPFvc
Strange that Outie thinks that not amused by lame, one-dimensional satire is somehow a political affliction. As anyone familiar with my posts knows, I actually have a pretty high threshold for the offensive, particularly when it comes to politicians.
The not-so-subtle subtext–that Obama is acceptable because he’s a “nice” negro–has obvious racist implications. That was the point of the article.Rush finds this as a cause for mirth. Fine.
Why is it funny, and not just lame?

It’s a matter of opinion and words written on a blog can be misconstrued or misaligned.
Actually, I’m very sure I wouldn’t be allowed to participate in a blog. My ancestors were very hard working and had little outside activity other than church and their u.r. stuff. I would probably be out in a field somewhere working or in the cellar sorting food stuffs or feeding the livestock.
Maggot
Michael J. Fox ADMITTED, himself, that he at times went without his medications to make a political point.
The liberal press fraudulently looped a tape of Limbaugh, making it a appear that Limbaugh was making fun of Fox, physically. This was not true.
On the NFL, Crips and Bloods comment? What are we to make of the crimes committed by NFL players, over the last 10 years?
Racism is actually a liberal Democrat problem.
Liberal Democrats do not wish to hold Black people to the same standards as everyone else.
I fully realize that Blacks can be held to the same standards as me. I fully understand that some Black people are smarter, stronger, quicker and perhaps better than me.
White liberals look down on Black people.
White liberals think that Black people can not help being involved with drugs and street crime and gangs.
Rush disagrees.
BJ
You were absolutely wrong about Limbaugh on more than one occassion.
For instance, when Harry Reid wrote his stupid letter, attacking Limbaugh!
Limbaugh serves on the Board of Directors of a charity that helps the families of veterans killed in combat.
Limbaugh has done great charity work for veterans, his entire career.
There are “phoney soldiers” or people who FAKE their military history or battle history so that they can attack America with false stories.
Limbaugh defended Veterans by exposing and attacking the phoney soldiers.
You were completely clueless on that entire matter.
I’ve never been remotely wrong about Rush Limbaugh on anything.
He is a vile, evil disgrace of a human being.
I am not surprised that paulie is a fan.

I think now I am going to have to get his newsletter and pod-cast, Thanks J R.
Also, I will send him money for his charity work….which he usually matches donations dollar for dollar.
Same sh9*( different day.
Everybody knows I am no great fan of Barack Obama.
Obama was heckled after a question. The instance lasted less than 2 seconds.
Limbaugh looped the tape so it sounded like the heckling went on for nearly a minute.
“Also, I will send him money for his charity work” — anti.
Why haven’t you already?
Why haven’t you already?

O’Reilly recently got Scott McClellan to ADMIT that the White House, and Rove NEVER sent out “talking points” to Rush, to O’Reilly or to anyone else.
Get your facts straight.

Type “magic Negro” into your browser, you will see that Rush did not invent the term.
Again, you are clueless.

Anyone just listen to the Limbaugh show?
GH Bush, GW Bush, and Jeb Bush all called in to congratulate Rush.
Rage
Was it not a White Democrat Senator who said that Obama was “clean and articulate”??
CapnAmerica,
We can be offensive sometimes, yes. Racist? No.
Rush has received congratulations from:
Clarence Thomas
Thomas Sowell
Walter Williams
How did a “racist” receive so much respect from prominent Black people?
I notice all of the people calling Rush “racist” on this Blog are White liberals.
White liberals want conservatives to be affraid of the race issue.
We aren’t affraid of the race issue, not one bit.
Liberals are burdened by “White Guilt” — Obama admits this in his book.
The vast majority of conservatives are not the least bit “racist” and we have nothing to feel guilty about.
So, when a Black person does or says something stupid, we treat that Black person as we would treat anyone else who screws up.
Rage
Was it not a White Democrat Senator who said that Obama was “clean and articulate”??
Yep. And your point would be?
http://blogs.kansas.com/weblog/2007/02/when_its_about_/#comment-134717
Rage
The point is that such a comment would seem to indicate that the good White Democrat Senator thought being “clean and articulate” was an unusual trait, for a Black candidate, would it not?
Why not say, “He is a human being and a citizen of the United States” as well? Why say anything at all about a candidate, unless it sets him or her apart from the crowd?

Obama the ‘Magic Negro’
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-ehrenstein19mar19,0,5335087.story?coll=la-opinion-center
But it’s clear that Obama also is running for an equally important unelected office, in the province of the popular imagination — the “Magic Negro.”
…
Like a comic-book superhero, Obama is there to help, out of the sheer goodness of a heart we need not know or understand. For as with all Magic Negroes, the less real he seems, the more desirable he becomes. If he were real, white America couldn’t project all its fantasies of curative black benevolence on him.
And what does the song say in the open?
Barack the Magic Negro lives in D.C.
The L.A. Times, they called him that
‘Cause he’s not authentic like me.
Yeah, the guy from the L.A. paper
Said he makes guilty whites feel good
They’ll vote for him, and not for me
‘Cause he’s not from the hood.
So MonkeyHawk,
The song was created as a spoof off what the LA TIMES said about Obama.
The song it’s self even says so.
beber
Look it up yourself.
Rush has always had many Black friends and supporters. The list is very large.
Monkey
You are a liar.
Rush was never even charged as a “drug trafficker” in any way.

Good thing you don’t have to prove the accuracy of your angry outbursts or you would be up on libel charges. Rant on. Lunch calls.
By the way, Rush is not perfect.
Rush did get addicted to pain killing drugs.
This happens to many people, as an unfortunate consequence of an original LEGAL prescription to treat real pain.
Obama ADMITS to using illegal drugs.
Obama has many Rap Music friends who glorify drug use, drug dealing, and the gang bang culture.
President Bush is on Limbaugh now, making fun of Obama’s plan to put MORE taxes on oil companies.
lindainks55, FYI, you dem libs are the borg. The borg are a collective who share the same mind and goals. They go from planet to planet assimilating its citizens into its own, that is the only way they can gain knowledge. They cannot function apart from its collective, each borg cannot think of itself as an individual and therefore has no thoughts of its own. That is why I am the BorgHunter. I am not a borg, I hunt borg and you dem libs are the prey. You all say the same thing. What has become refreshing on this site, is the different conservatives. As you will notice they all don’t agree with each and they each have their own ideas.
btw, did you so happen to hear the first 5 minutes of Rush today? It was awesome, if any dem lib heard I am sure they went ballistic. President George W. Bush, former President George H.W. Bush and the Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush called Rush today to congratulate him on 20 years. You can bet Steve Colbert wouldn’t get a call like that. He wouldn’t know funny if it ……

The irony in this is outstanding. Of course borghunter wouldn’t understand.
It is my personal Rush story and every time I hear his name it reminds me of it. My co-workers were big Rush fans, I kept telling them that every time he refer to the “un-washed masses” he was talking about them.
“Oh no he is talking about the Blacks and Mexicans and the lazy whom refuse to work hard and support themselves!”. UNTIL the day came Rush finally said something that was directed at them and they were shocked and disheartened. “you were right” they said after yelling insults at the TV.

Actually, Williams and Sowell have ALSO been GUEST HOSTS for Rush Limbaugh.
I heard Clarence Thomas congratulate Limbaugh just yesterday.
Forgive me, my fellow libs.
I will also salute Mr. Limbaugh on 20 years. He has singlehandedly revived the talk genre, and surprisingly, brought it to a higher, more intellectual level.
If there were no Rush Limbaugh, I would be an unemployed telemarketer.
I’ll be celebrating 13 years on the air in December.
Thank you, Rush Limbaugh.
“great unwashed masses” is a liberal elitist term. Limbaugh uses that term deliberately, to remind conservatives exactly what LIBERALS think of us!

I was going to tell Dog that but he seemed to think he had an inside track on it’s origin. Libs just get a subtle humor. They have to be wacked on the head with it like Franken or Garafalo do.
Meant to say libs don’t get subtle humor. My bad.
It is truely amazing.
The Liberals get so upset by things like “Magic Negro” and the “Unwashed masses” and other terms used by Limbaugh.
What they never get is that Limbaugh is simply using the terms after someone else on the left did or the media does.
You have to wonder about the liberals sometimes. I just don’t think they will ever get it.
Nathan they will only get what they want to get. The blinders are on. We are the enemy.
Yeah the liberal policies have really changed things regarding blacks. I mean, look they live in our neighborhoods and our white schools. They have jobs in upper management gasp. yeah, that was a total failure, pleh those damn liberals. They were far better off before the liberals came around…you know, like when they knew their place when shown a noose and a water hose.
And the republicans try to take credit for that? What????

Simply put Political Mama, you are a KOOK!
Do you ever stop to see the irony of someone spewing such hateful comments comparing people to nazis while claiming those they call the nazis are hateful?
“I’ll be celebrating 13 years on the air in December” — Mr. Controversy.
So you’re another of the endless Rush clones?
What would you think, Mr. Franklin, if a liberal supreme court Justice publicly thanked Randy Rhoads for her two years of service to Radio America? I think you’d find that a conflict of interest, distasteful, and tacky. A Supreme Court Justice is supposed to be above the political fray. If Thomas is really that dumb, it wouldn’t surprise me.
Not hardly.
I’m probably about as removed from Rush as you can get… except for my colleague, James Barfield.
But without Mr. Limbaugh, talk would have died an ignominious death with Morton Downey, Jr. and Joe Pyne in the late 70s.
There are too many brainless pinheads running programming in radio (see Cheap Channel Wichita), and that’s where the clones come from.
I thank God every morning for a place like Local 5 where I can strive to be the best Mr. Controversy I can be.
Mr Controversy: No agenda. Just curiosities. Would you consider yourself closer to Boortz, O’Reiley, Olberman or Limbaugh?
If you wouldn’t mind sharing, would you give a 1-4 rating? 1 being closest to you, 4 being furthest.
One more question if you wouldn’t mind: Which of those 4 is the closest thing to an amalgm of Wichita resident?
let me rephrase the last one amalgm of your typical listener?
And, despite “okobserver’s” delusions, I expressed my respect for Limbaugh’s abilities as a radio talent upthread.
No grudge.
No jealousy.
Maybe a bit of envy, but I know the game and how it’s played. He plays it very well.
He himself has said he’s nothing but an entertainer. That the Limbaugh-tomized masses consider him some sort of purveyor of truth is the biggest joke. He’s a disk jockey on an Oldies Station that plays nothing but the Republic Party’s greatest hits… over and over and over again.
But he does it well.
He talks the talk. And he walks to the Pizza Hut parking lot to collect his thousands of hits of Hillbilly Heroin back there behind the dumpster.
Your hero.
“I’ve never been remotely wrong about Rush Limbaugh on anything.”
Blue Jay, you have never been wrong? Sounds like something your boy, “Obama” would say. That is the arrogance that America cannot stand to have as our President.
Mr Controversy: No agenda. Just curiosities. Would you consider yourself closer to Boortz, O’Reiley, Olberman or Limbaugh?
I’ll take this one, Mr.C, if it’s okay with you.
He’s the most like Olbermann, though his style is different. He pretty much talks like he posts, if that helps.
You know, I just noticed another trait you dems have in common. You seem to answer questions with a link when you don’t know how to say it yourself. Are you not capable of forming a few sentences to project your ideas?
Also, you ask for link or actual quotes. Do you know know how to go to google and look it up yourself? Or are you just that lazy?
Boortz -10
O’Reilly -10… but I give him a lot of credits for his talking points… helping teach millions of wingnuts to read :)
Limbaugh 1… we agree on gun issues and certain perceptions of the women’s movement.
Olberman 3.5… sometimes, he grates on me.
Closest to the average Wichitan? Every one of them has their days. I would say it’s situational.

Controv: I know Olberman can be a bit obnoxious. After the first 5 times listening to him, the Irony wears off. And he is very preachy.
Now what about say: Walton and Johnson?

BJ I think I will make sure law officers read your posts. You are a couple of bricks shy of a load and bear watching.
BJ will be a failure, no matter who wins any election.
I would hate to see BJ go to jail, because then he might have an “excuse” for his sorry state, other than himself.
If we send him to jail, he will never admit, to himself, that he deserves it.
BJ has wished me dead, on this Blog, more than once.
He is unstable but a coward.
I would not worry much about him.
MrC: I don’t know if you saw my post amid all of the jail house rock.

As far as weaknesses go, bad spelling is shared by many.
In fact, a very famous writer once said:
“Spelling is the least important part of writing”
I generally write here while on the phone, or on hold, or doing paperwork. This is conversation, not a college exam or term paper.
I am sure that I could find some mistakes in your posts — if I didn’t have a life that is.
Rush Limbaugh: What a guy. Married how many times? That sends a real good message to today’s teens, doesn’t it. Addicted to drugs while calling for major penalties for both users and sellers. Bit of a hypocrite there. Sends another good message to today’s teens . . . again.
Okay, I can deal with that: Hollywood lets drug addicts off the hook, so I suppose Rush deserves a second chance. But let’s not forget his one Monday Night Football commentary:
” The only reason you guys are praising that quarterback is because he’s black.”
Pretty much everybody watching was stunned. Why? Because there is no color line in sports anymore, except to maybe morons who would like to perpetuate such nonsense.
Got him fired that same night. Why? because he’s one of those morons.
Ever seen him on any of the talk shows on TV? When he comes up against anybody with even a modicum of intelligence, he’s lost. That’s the main reason he’s not even invited anymore: He’s too stupid to carry on an intelligent conversation with.
So why is he worth 400 million? He caters to the same morons who find him entertaining, and evidently, their numbers are legion, which tells you something about the state of intelligence in America. No wonder we’re way down the list on scholastic achievements world wide. If there were that much money in Liberal radio, he would jump ship in a New York Minute.
And to answer the neo-cons questions about why there is no liberal rush: Liberals are out there doing, not listening to neo-con brainwashing.
JM I always find it astounding the thickness of the blinder the dims wear. You are supporting a prez condidate who wrote a book about using street drugs and using a little blow and you are blanching at a radio entertainer who got hooked on legal pain killers.
The position you want to raise Obama to will have much more influence on our use than anything Rush Limbaugh ever says. Your hipocricy is showing. Cover it up.
And JM the quote you gave us wasn’t exactly accurate and Rush could have kept that job if he had back tracked on what he said. He said that McNabb wasn’t playing up to his potential and wouldn’t be praised so much by the press if he weren’t black.
Geraldino Ferrao said much the same thing about Obama in that any other man with his experience and credentials would not be in the running for the most important job in the land. He was there because he was black. She was then canned by the Hillary campaign because of Obama’s crying.
Whether I agree or not isn’t what is important. It is the honesty of the media in reporting what is at stake here. Sure you won’t see that though.
The hipocrisy is the fact that Obama isn’t sitting there demonizing people for the mistakes they have made.
How many people have Limbaugh set his targets on for similar?
You really going to sit here and complain about OUR blinders? Who is the worst president liar in history?
“President George W. Bush, former President George H.W. Bush and the Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush called Rush today to congratulate him on 20 years. You can bet Steve Colbert wouldn’t get a call like that. He wouldn’t know funny if it ……”
Uh, I’m pretty sure Colbert wouldnt WANT a phone call like that, unless he could use it for more hilarity on his show.
I bet he’d turn it into a howler!
Honestly Paul’s spelling doesn’t worry me. An error here and there is no biggie, the ones that come in and can’t spell a single sentence without multiple errors acting like they’re just so smart..that irks me.
JM Walker,
Well… nevermind. What point is there in responding to such blatant over the top stereotypes, and mis-characterizations as the ones you just produced?
“The Democrat Party was the pro slavery party.
The Democrat Party was the Jim Crow party”
That was the Dixiecrats who turned republican after the democrats evolved. Why is it so hard for you to be honest Paul? The democrats have pretty much changed sides with republicans.
I mean seriously-who do you think you’re fooling?
Defend deflect and deny.. they can say the nastiest things about anybody- but holy hell if we use the same tactics back on them.
Republicans are ruining this country, I really do hope there is a judgement day. Really I do.
okobserver,
Just another moron who can’t read. Where did I say anything about Obama? I didn’t even bring his name up. You have proven my point that morons who listen to rush have a serious intelligence deficit. You assume where there is no assumption present.
My quote may have been off a few words, but it still says the same thing. My suggestion to you is: go back to school, learn to read AND retain the information that IS there, not what is not there. Otherwise, you’ll just be another moron living the rush life. Now, I know you morons don’t like to be called names, like, well, morons, but as they say, if the shoe fits . . . and, in this case, it certainly does.

Actually, trade unionism was very, very racist until modern times.
Many of the worst race riots were in Northern cities, after forced bussing and integration took place.

You support torture, push the hate agenda against gays, as if they’re satan themselves, support the suppression of women’s rights…admit it grm, if it were not for feminists you would not have what you have today. If you have ever used birth control, you would not have what you have today. Do you take it personally if someone tells you to get back in the kitchen where you belong? You should.
Rush is a HORRIBLE man. And you adore him. What does that say about you? Your policies that you support would have old people dying on the streets. Women jailed for fleeing their abusive husbands- we’d be property still under these laws. IF YOU REALLY lived by the bible, you would support this because that is what IT SAYS.
I have watched what you all have done to destroy this country- and you HAVE destroyed this country…and then turn around and lie about it being liberals. Everything good that happened came from liberals…even if a liberal by that standard then would mean a conservative today.
Our founding fathers were liberal, Lincoln, came out of the depression from liberals, won rights to vote for women from liberals, brought blacks to school and opened up possibilities never before from liberals.
Wake up- anything that we have good came from liberals. EVERYTHING.
JM Walker,

Truth never got in the way of neo-conservatives before, why should it now?
Pmom I really don’t know where to start to answer your diatribe. When someone feels that strongly about something usually you have fostered that hatred for a long time.
You have lost your rationality when it comes to anything you deem to not be liberal. I saw this last week when you went on and on about a legal plan benefit your employer was offering you. You have stopped being rational.
This has to bleed over into everyone you come in contact with. Sorry you feel I am your enemy. I’m not. I wish there was someway I could help you. I know you have a heavy load to carry and other than giving you a hard time about smoking I try to take it easy on you.
I hope this election hurries up and gets done with. It hasn’t brought out the best in anyone.
O, ya . . . not a false quote, not word for word, but the gist is the same: a racist comment from a racist moron.
VERY well said at 5 to 6 there political mama.
Sigh.
I truly truly hate that man.
I worked with lots of hard working guys. But you couldn’t talk to them. You couldn’t get them to think intelligently as to politics.
I remember one of my better former friends. Real ditto head. He used to get frustrated with me. “Damn, I don’t wanna talk about politics. Let’s talk about something interesting like sports. I’m NOT gonna vote Democrat. They wanna take muh guns away!”
Rush had already made up their mind for them.
And not only can he still sleep at night.
He actually laughs that he has these people voting in HIS best interest.
JM Walker: It wasn’t racist at all from Limbaugh’s standpoint. The sports media portrayed it that way because it was critical of them. Limbaugh, in effect, accused them of racism.
See what I mean by dishonesty. Outlandish is so in outerspace that he defends deflects and denies the absolute. There is NO WAY to misinterpret what he said. WHY must you lie?
If you think now is bad, wait till after the elections.
Why was I irrational about what nonsense my employer did? And you didn’t dispute not a single thing in my ‘diatribe’. I’m pissed as hell.
But you know what I did the other day for a client? Her primary republican ballot came in the mail, and I went to print off compare/contrast for her. Couldn’t find any for her area, but I tried. She said she didn’t know who to vote for as she didn’t keep up anymore. And I didn’t say a word about how I felt about it.

But if you think that sports are totally free of race as an issue, you are probably the only one JM.
Political_Mama,
For being so concerned with “hate” you have made some of the most hateful comments here today.
Think about it.
I sure hope there are no riots in Denver during the Democratic Convention… I mean, especially since Rush called for such things to happen, and then back tracked like crazy when he was called out for what he said…
But IF there should be riots in Denver, I hope somebody here has the links to what the Chief Ditto said to all of his Ditto Heads…
Ditto Heads = Brown Shirts
I often wonder how many of Limbaugh’s fan are clueless enough to not know the wind bag is talking about them. Many people if you say “ those people are the cause of all the problems!” agree with that statement but place their own idea as to whom those people are? Rush appeals to the worse part of human nature, his sense of humor is the kind that makes someone laugh at ethnic jokes and making fun of the handicapped.
Chas,
Not very becoming of a man who claims to be a minister.
But that has never stopped you before.
Writerdog,
Spoken like someone who never actually listens to the Limbaugh show.
Let me guess, you get all your information on Limbaugh from Media Matters?
Nathan – tell Hank I emailed but it got bounced by the server.
No Nathan I use to watch him everyday, he speaks like someone whom sees only one direction in the darkness and it depends on if he is facing the light or the dark as to what he is seeing.
Sadly he does tend to be one whom never states that it could be different then how he sees it. He lives in a small world and a sheltered life. My co-workers did not understand that until he finally explain what he meant by unwashed masses. The one thing that stuck them was his stating that if you did not make over one hundred thousand a year you were the problem. Are the problem Nathan?
I’m very well aware of how I came across. Sadly, I mean it too.
I really used to think that most people were good despite our differences. I don’t anymore.
What’s wrong Nathan?? Are you one of the Ditto Heads?? Errr… Brown Shirts??
BTW, I dont think the Democratic Convention has anything to do with my religion, or my vocation…. So, what the hell is your point??
Writerdog,
You can’t trick me with your little sound bites.
I have been listening to the Limbaugh show for quite some time, at least 15 years.
I have never heard him say that and I am pretty sure you are either taking his quote out of context or purposefully mis-characterizing it.
Tell me what day and what show it was where he said that and I will go see for myself.
I have listened to Limbaugh enough to know that he thinks no such thing about me or those that make less than 100k a year.
Your little tricks don’t work on me. Go use them on your friends.
Paul, Paul, Paul. The difference between us is that I recognize my mistakes and can correct them myself. But you don’t even know you’ve made them, until someone points them out, and all you have is pitiful excuses.
“It’s only conversation! waaaaah waaaahhh”
Maybe if you weren’t so blinded by hate you could see. Then again, if education didn’t help you, nothing will.
Pitiful.
Nathan, you need to understand something very clearly —- Not every opinion I have in this life is wrapped up in my Faith/Theology/Religion… And, strangely enough, that is as it should be… The sooner you come to grips with that reality, the sooner you will possibly realize that Clergy are not super-humans… That Clergy are not exempt from human interaction…. And that Clergy are not dictated to by the likes of YOU and YOUR KIND!!!
Do you understand that???
“Writerdog,
You can’t trick me with your little sound bites.”
heheheheheheheh!
nope
It doesnt even take THAT much….
Nathan says:
“I have been listening to the Limbaugh show for quite some time, at least 15 years.”
Ahh Haa!!! There we have the admission…. NOW we know what makes him the way he is!!!
:-D
Chas,
My point is that you just labeled an entire group of men and women who you know nothing about. The term “ditto head” is simply a term for an avid Limbuagh listener. Nothing more than that.
You choose to label them with some of the most heinous group of thugs in history the SA who helped Hitler rise to power.
It is a rather disgusting thing to do and you know it.
But of course, you don’t care. You have to be one of the most foul mouthed, mean, hateful, and spiteful ministers I have ever seen.
the ones that come in and can’t spell a single sentence without multiple errors acting like they’re just so smart..that irks me.
P-Mom, you just described Paul.
I used to listen to Rush a fair amount. And, according to Rush. HE is a dreg of humanity. A drug addict and a drug criminal. And as for his family values; well, he does have me beat there. I’ve only been married ONCE – and still am.
I am pretty sure you are either taking his quote out of context or purposefully mis-characterizing it.
And the CONS NEVER take a quote out of context or purposely mis-characterize it.
Anybody want to get a tally on that? Make sure you have reams and reams of paper.
Chas,
Most clergy are leaders. As a leader they try to set a good example for others to follow. They don’t have to be perfect, but that doesn’t mean they just don’t care or even try.
Obviously a point lost on you.
Predestined,
So your “argument” is that because others do it, it is ok?
Wow… you win.
*EYE ROLL*
Nathan, the Brown Shirts, like the Ditto Heads of today, followed the propaganda of their perceived leader hook, line, and sinker…
And YES I know what I labeled them as… and NO I am not sorry for it, because I believe every word of it!! Even more so after the events in TN last Sunday!!
I need no lectures from you on the vile nature of what I said about Rush’s minions waiting for their marching orders… They are spineless, mindless nincompoops who would follow whatever that FREAK of Broadcasting tells them…
NO I am not sorry for saying that Ditto Heads = Brown Shirts… And as far as I am concerned, it is pasdt time for those on the other side of the spectrum to stop trying to play nice nice to the REICH WING, like YOU Nathan, and your little buddies here, and start calling the shots the way they really are…
And if thats not politically correct, So???
Chas,
You could start by laying out a well though out and formidable argument (with evidence and examples) of how the ditto heads are like the “brown shirts” like you claim.
Simply saying it is so, is nothing more than the most petty kind of name calling.
Also known as the logical fallacy: ad hominem
Chas
The “Brownshirts” were actually organized and run by homosexuals, in Nazi Germany.
The homosexual Brownshirts were responsible for “crystal night” the night all of the Jewish owned shops had their windows broken.

=========================================
Nathan, the only thing lost here is the plain and simple FACT…. FACT…. that you know absolutely nothing about what you are saying…. Which tells me you dont know very many Clergy… or at least not very many HONEST ones… if that is truly what you believe…. Geez!!
Such a small minded man…. How do you manage to get by in life???
You should know all about ad hominem Nathan… You do it every day, to so many that you disagree with…
I made my point, and if you are too ignorant, or too stupid to understand it, then I pity you… Life is mostly gray areas… Such a pity you cant see that, and live your life accordingly…. Oh well, I wouldnt want to tell you how to live… any more than I want YOU to keep trying to tell ME how to live….
Honestly, I dont know WHY you keep trying to control what I say… unless it bothers you so much, that your faith is terribly shaken… Think about that, little buy… Think hard about that….
Chas, for anyone to compare a citizen of the United States to Nazis is just uncalled for.
Republican does not mean that they follow or even listen to Rush Limbaugh.
I don’t listen to him on the radio and only did for awhile years ago, when there was nothing else on the radio.
However, with that said, Limbaugh appears to me a political entertainer. Sure, he has positions and does a lot of finger pointing, fist pounding and foot shuffling to get to those points. He is adamant to point of being overboard, but those are his positions.
Again, the Reichwing and Nazi references are uncalled for and are a conversation stopper.
If you said that to someone’s face, I’m sure you would get an equally volatile response.
So why do it here on the WE Blog?
No one here is a Nazi, except for maybe that Horst Wessel poster, who I haven’t seen around in awhile.
Franklin, the Brown Shirts were just idiots that “bought” the Nazi propaganda…. When Hitler was finished with them, he had MANY of them killed… as fast as possible….
Do you remember that part of your history??
writerdog
YOU are wrong.
“unwashed masses” is a political term going back for years and years.
More of late, it is a derogatory term used by the elite (Democrats) to talk about the voting public, especially when the Dems held every seat of power, in this country.
You have it ass backwards.
It is the Democrats that look down on you, not the Republicans.
James, I have made NO mention of Republicans… Ditto Heads and Brown Shirts are a “mindset” Pull you head out now, and smell the REAL world for a change….
Chas
A true “man of God” tries to be an example, in all areas of life.
You do not try.
You openly claim, I guess, from your post above, that you only have to be a Minister on Sunday?
“Recreate 68″ is a radical LIBERAL group.
THEY came up with their own, riot associated, name.
NOT Limbaugh!
Horst Wessel hasnt been around in a long time…. at least not with that particular Nic…
NO Franklin… that is NOT what I said… And I am not going to deal with your flaming rants tonite… So, just stop now before you get in over your head!!
Pre
I do not “hate” anyone.
And I am not making excuses.
I am stating, for the record, that you are not important enough for me to check my work, before I post.
Also, people have pretended to be me, several times in the past.
The words I spell wrong I almost always spell wrong.
Therefore, it would be very difficult for anyone to pull off a forgery of my writing.
Chas,
In one sentence you call all ditto heads brown shirts and in the next you are talking about grey areas?
You should start listening to your own advice.
There is no grey area when you label an entire group with another group like the brown shirts as you did.
So your “argument” is that because others do it, it is ok?
Holy crap, Nathan, you can’t be that dense.
And you are right Franklin… And being a leader also means calling out the phony BS when you see it being passed off as phony truth… like your bigotry and lies on this Blog… You and numerous others…. It’s time to call it out, and name it for what it is…. And THAT TOO is part of being a leader…. I have dont much of that in the past 30+ years…. I am STILL quite good at my vocation…. or I wouldnt still be allowed to do what I do…. :-)
“It is the Democrats that look down on you, not the Republicans.”
Uh huh.
We got a con poster here who brags about spending 100,000 dollars a year on hobbies.
In between making fun of and attacking me because I am poor.
Paulie? people look down on YOU because you are a liar.
dont = done
Chas,
Where do you get off talking about having to deal with our rants when you are in here saying all ditto heads are like the brown shirts?
Yes, of course I do, Chas.
However, the historical fact remains that Hitler really had absolutely no problem with Homosexuality.
Hitler knew that the leadership of the Brownshirts were all openly homosexual men.
It was only when Hitler thought that the Brownshirts had become too powerful, and a threat to Hitler, himself, that Hitler eliminated the Brownshirts and turned against homosexuals.
“It is the Democrats that look down on you, not the Republicans.”
Uh yeah.
Google “Rush”+”Rio Linda”
There ya go, “Franklin”. You just don’t get it, do you? I don’t give a rat’s ass what you think of me, any more than you care what I think of you. But you continue to make excuses, over and over and over, so you obviously care what someone thinks.
If you don’t hate, then why not stop the hate speech you post here multiple times a day? You see, all we have are your misspelled words to go by.
Are you too old to learn how to spell? Are you physically unable to use a dictionary?
Never mind. More excuses won’t improve you.
Does anyone else see the irony from those on the left about this crazy guy who killed 2 people at this church?
For the past year the liberals have been telling those who carry concealed that they are paranoid for carrying concealed and that the odds of anything ever happening where you would need a gun are comparable to being struck by lightening.
Now, we have ONE example of some crazy guy who just so happened to listen to Conservative radio and read Conservative books who said he was targeting liberals on purpose and that is enough for these same liberals to say it is proof of a million plus crazies out there just waiting to snap like this guy.
What a scary world the inside of a liberals head must be.
Good night; Good luck; God bless;
Whatever you conceive God to be!!
Blessings ALL!!
I cant take any more of the Rush Loving crowd for this day….
So mote it be!!
For the Record?
“Ditto” means, in Limbaugh language:
“Great show”
Limbaugh is time sensitive, like any broadcastor. When callers kept telling him how wonderful his show was, he got irritated.
Finally, someone said, “Ditto what the last caller said” — and history was made.
A “ditto-head” is someone who likes Limbaugh’s show.
A “ditto-head” is not, and never has been, someone who agrees with everything Limbaugh says.
chas
Over my head?
With you?
Never has happened, never will happen.
You never make any sense, and you frequently post false facts which anyone on this Blog can refute.
A ditto head is a waste of a human life.
PreD Take care — keep in touch — Send me an email when you have time… Ok?? NITE!!

Real simple:
It BUGS THE CRAP OUT OF YOU —
so I will continue to do as I please.

James, I have made NO mention of Republicans… Ditto Heads and Brown Shirts are a “mindset” Pull you head out now, and smell the REAL world for a change….
————————————–
Inference goes a long ways Chas.
And you are absolutely incorrect comparing Brown Shirts and Ditto Heads.
Ditto Heads listen to a radio show, period – not additions, no marching, no formal meet ups, just radio listeners.
Chas, I’d ask you to pull your head out, but I can find a spot on you that isn’t all ass.
Lets review here.
The most hateful posts here today have all been from the liberals.
Yet we have Political_mama acting like we are the hateful ones?
If we are the hateful ones then what is Chas, BlueJay and Political_Mama????
er can’t find a spot…
Reg
Be careful
Pre will get out his red marker and start grading your work.
If it were only one example Nathan. But its not there are so very many. From abortion clinic bombings to the OKC bombing, to the hundreds of people who claim to be God and ruin the lives of others in violence. Why is it that its always the insane who think they are God and hurtful to others?
Because we fight back. You love it when you get to be the assholes and we just sit there and take it don’t you.
this is what you don’t seem to comprehend Nathan. We are heading very quickly for a civil divide. And it didn’t stem from the liberals and you know it.
What is has stemmed from is a few decades of republicans knocking the teeth out of the liberals. For us being such panty waste peaceniks, we sure can fight back can’t we?
I would be absolutely thrilled if we could just divide the nation up. Your kind on one side, and my kind on the other. We’ll see how that goes.
It could be a great social experiment, except we’ve already been there and done that, watching some countries doing it now..and yet, you refuse to learn from history.
Political_Mama,
It wasn’t but a few weeks ago that you and I talked about being better posters.
Either way, you don’t get to talk about hateful posters while you yourself are being hateful.
That is called Hypocrisy.
Political_Mama,
What is that 11 examples you have now?
There have been about 10 abortion clinic bombings in this country, total. I don’t agree with any of them and neither does the majority of the Pro-Life movement.
You take the actions of a few extreme nut jobs and then label everyone.
It is absurd. And you know it.
Political_Mama,
You are not fighting back, you are just being mean and hateful. That is all.

You couldn’t possibly be this stupid to believe all of what you say could you PMom?
Using God to justify violent acts is outside of the realm of Christianity. Those who claim to do God’s work and incite violence or commit evil acts are evil and are really following the antithesis of what God stands for.
You tend to concentrate on the negative things PMom. Christians are not like that at all. The news reports the grim horror of despicable human beings because it attracts people of your mindset.
Have you ever heard of Falls Creek, Oklahoma? Probably not eh? Because it is a Christian camp that provides summer relief for kids. They do crafts, have Bible classes, swim and enjoy group fun, games and social interaction. Does it get any press? No. Well perhaps, if a kid falls and hurts himself, that would be the only time.
There are church camps in Kansas as well. All ran by Christians and for the edification of the mind and soul. They do good works for children.
For every Tim McVeigh, there are millions of Christians with good hearts and who respect life and the want only the best for human beings.
So why does your hatred concentrate just on the few nuts who really are not Christians, but people who are ego maniacs or out right insane?
You, PMom, are a devout practitioner of hate speech. You just can’t see it.
Hating back at the oppressors is just good self defense.
The Unabomber was a liberal, politically.
There are libs who spike trees and burn up car lots and do other acts of violence.
BJ
The only “opression” you have ever had do deal with, in your entire life, is your personality disorder.
Cons do their fighting in less honest and more indirect ways.
They sell out their union for example.
Or they outsource jobs.
Or they sit in an Atilla the Hun chair and light cigars with C notes while they LIE to working people.
We are all human and we all make mistakes.
It is wrong to hold every Black person responsible for the acts of the Crips and the Bloods. It is only natural that we EXPECT political leaders to condemn gang violence.
It is wrong to hold every Christian responsible for the acts of a few nut cases. It is only natural that we expect political and Church leaders to condemn acts of senseless violence and intolerance.
The point that seems lost on liberals is that they seem to think bigotry against a group that THEY brand as “bigots” is, somehow, “politically correct bigotry”!
Instead, the libs deny that they are bigots, at all.
OR they sell insurance to people and then bug out when someone makes a claim.
How many insurance claims have you denied recently paulie?
I love it – Rossell claims the Brownshirts were gays! PROVE IT PAUL!!!!!! I call BS on you Paul!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmabteilung
“The Sturmabteilung (help·info), abbreviated SA, (German for “Assault detachment” or “Assault section”, usually translated as “stormtroop(er)s”), functioned as a paramilitary organization of the NSDAP — the German Nazi party. It played a key role in Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1930s.
SA men were often called “brownshirts”, for the colour of their uniforms, and to distinguish them from the Schutzstaffel (SS), who wore black and brown uniforms (compare the Italian blackshirts). Brown-coloured shirts were chosen as the SA uniform because a large batch of them was cheaply available after World War I, having originally been ordered for German troops serving in Africa.
The SA was also the first Nazi paramilitary group to develop pseudo-military titles for bestowal upon its members. The SA ranks would be adopted by several other Nazi Party groups, chief among them the SS. They were very important to Hitler’s rise to power until they were superseded by the SS after the Night of the Long Knives.”
There are a great many “rich” Democrats in this town.
Why can’t you find one to hire you?
Just a hint:
Look in the mirror!
I’m comfy in my own skin paulie.
How about you?
Maybe in a way I am more conservative than you.
You’ll do anything for a buck.
You already have.
Ya know what paulie?
YOU are even less than a whore.
So is Rush Limbaugh.
At least a whore uses her own natural abilities to make money.
You and Rush? You trade in lies and deception.
In case my post, above, is too long for the Eagle, here is the link, again:
http://fredmartinez.blogspot.com/2007/10/homosexual-roots-of-nazi-party.html
Ben, you are simply wrong. The Nazi’s owe much of their early hitory to homosexual leaders.
I have not said that all homosexuals are Nazis.
I am saying that Chas was wrong, logically speaking, to call “Ditto heads” the names he has used, including “Brownshirts”.
The Brownshirts were openly “butch” gay men.
I will accept your apology any time Ben.
You called BS, you should apologize.
There are thousands of links I could post. You try it. Type “Homosexual Brownshirts” or “Roehm Homosexual” into your browser.
It BUGS THE CRAP OUT OF YOU —
And obviously stupidity doesn’t bug you.
Seriously, you’re nothing more than a laugh–someone to stick it to, the way you stick it to others.
Have you ever watched a cat play with a mouse before killing it? Even after killing it, too, tossing it into the air.
You’re the mouse, Paul. A toy.
“The Unabomber was a liberal, politically.”
So?
Timothy McVeigh was a STRONG conservative, politically.
He was also a former Marine.
Like YOU paulie.
And certainly your radical activities are a matter of judicial record.
Right Pre.
Whatever you say.
In “Tom and Jerry” who wins?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_and_Jerry_(MGM)
BJ
Actually, I have no criminal record.
We have been over this before.
I was never even CHARGED with a crime.
Some were homosexual; I suspect many more (perhaps even Hitler) were repressed homosexual. However, to claim that the SA was a homosexual organization is incorrect.
All that said I have to “ditto” Regular above – other that perhaps Horst Wessel (spelling?) we don’t have any NAZIs or Brownshirts here. And to say that is pure BS.
“There are thousands of links I could post. ”
Please don’t bother paulie. No one will click them.
Comic books and far right chat rooms that you have linked to here in the past are not credible sources.
Tetherpaul!
You were never convicted of a crime, maybe.
Oh but you were charged weren’t you?
Thanks Ben, I guess, lol.
Should I thank you for telling me that I am not a Nazi?
Well, as compliments go, that is the most I will probably get out of you!
I was not attacking gays, I was trying to get Chas to calm down. It is not fair to call names like that, and, historically, it is not accurate.
Rush is comfy in his bed now.
Maybe with a woman or boy. Probably bitching about his turtle lights.
And his little minion paulie is here running and getting smaller and smaller.
BJ
You are an idiot on nearly every subject, but I guess those who are reading your blather deserve an explanation.
I was in a civil court room due to a lawsuit brought by George Tiller. I was NEVER charged with a crime of any type. George Tiller’s attorney wrote a motion, to the court, in which he said that I had committed no crime. (Done for liability purposes, I am sure.)
The Supreme Court of the United States and later the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals all agreed that I never should have been in Court, in the first place.
I was soon appointed to the Wichita Traffic Commission, where I served as President.
I later served as Chief Deputy Sedgwick County Clerk, for 4 years.
During my entire term(s) in those offices, not one reporter ever said or printed anything about my day in Patrick Kelly’s court room. They all knew I had done nothing wrong.
You, however, are too biased and stupid to let it go.
You are lucky you are poor.
Otherwise, it might be worth it to take YOU to court!
“You are an idiot on nearly every subject”
Uh huh Paulie.
That is why I would not have to look far to find you whining about how I kick your butt here.
You make it easy. Your butt IS always in the air.
Please keep on keeping my foot busy!
BJ
In your dreams lol.
Look at it this way, I do this Blog stuff part time, and it is not even in the top 10 on my “priorty” list.
I know what Rush means when he says “half my brain tied behind my back” —
On the other hand, I get the impression that this Blog is one of the MOST important things in your life.
I do a half assed job and kick your ass, when I feel like it.
Most of the time, I ignore you like most other posters ignore you.
You have the worst attitude and the lowest IQ on the Blog. You are only useful in showing the readers, of this Blog, what a bitter, hateful Democrat looks like.
Hey thanks the info paulie.
I’ll be diligent in investigating your “public service”.
Maybe it will help explain just what has been wrong with this town.
The Radical Left response to this topic can be summarized as follows:
Waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!! WE NEED THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE TO MAKE RUSH SHUT UP! Waaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!
Naw, rush should just shut up.
Oh, and congratulations Rush, on 20 years of broadcasting Conservatism, surviving Leftists attacks everyday.
Thanks Rush for exercising your 1st Amendment Rights.
The DemoRat party claims to represent the little guy, yet it’s the DemoRats that stomp all over the 1st Amendment and the 2nd Amendment when it’s convenient for them to do so.
The Leftists are the real Nazis on this blog. Follow their party line OR ELSE!
“On the other hand, I get the impression that this Blog is one of the MOST important things in your life.”
Uh huh.
You post here more than I do paulie.
“I do a half assed job ” Yup.
“and kick your ass..” Nope not yet.
“when I fell like it”.
Not up to it YET?
BJ answers Paulie by saying,
“You have less of a life then I do!”
Dang BJ, still no job after all this time. It’s so surprising that no one will hire you. And very surprising too that you can’t make it on your own.
Maybe you could be a Walmart Greeter?
Max is calling you “paulie” too Paul!
Not econ. Not Paul F Rosell. Not Franklin.
But paulie. As I called you from your very first post.
Good night and sweet dreams.
Limbauh’s audience is pathetic compared to Oprah’s. And the Devil is using Oprah as a pawn. She has too much money, power, fame, and influence on the world. If she says to buy, read, or do anything she has millions of followers. She has that “A New Earth” thing forming which seems very cult like. Some people think she is the next antiChrist but in the Bible it says it must be a man. I believe Oprah is the Devil on Earth and the next antiChrist will be Barack Obama. He fits the description perfectly, and perhaps 666 is somewhere on his body. The end of the world is near and Oprah and Obama will have a huge part in it.
WELL —- If I would have nown that you aall would go ballisstic over the use of the term “Brown Shirts” to describe a mindset of how people follow a mindset, not caring what it means, aas a comparison of Rush’s Dito Heads… Damn, I would have found another analogy…. Please, everybody —- carry on11
These postings have been funny. That Rush states that a so-so quarterback is put on a pedestal because of his skin color. That is white liberal guilt.
Rush has NEVER said that black people shouldn’t succeed, he is pointing out that it is folks like Rev Al and Jesse who don’t want black people to succeed because then they lose.
Rush has talk of the conservative principals that made this country great. That personal responsibility should be a large part of that. Giving blacks a hand out does not make them succeed, it continues the cycle of “well they just can’t do it for themselves so our white liberal guilt has to do it for them”
That no where in the Constitution does it say that the Guvment MUST provide healthcare or home loans or any of the hundreds of mandated “entitlements” that have been thrust upon us. This is what Rush has been saying for 20 years.
Tell me in ANY way Rush has not been right as to how obama has been held up as a messiah to these white liberals. Look how good we are, we’re voting for a black man. He’s doesn’t have the experience, his only thought is to raise taxes, he can eloquently say how the Guvment should be running your lives, not you. Look how “clean and articulate” he is and I’m voting for him. See how open minded I am. See what a great little liberal I am. Look how great I am that I’m voting for a black man and for that reason only.
We thoroughly enjoyed Rush. Hitler claimed he was merely bringing in a water hose he could not easily obtain in the shoe. And I’m sure you’re all disappointed that Rush of the shoe yours truly in them – that’s because I didn’t see Hitler (as in under 40) there.
