War criminal finally caught

karadzic.jpgThank goodness that war criminal Radovan Karadzic has been captured in Serbia and should soon be on his way to the United Nations war crimes tribunal in the Hague, Netherlands. Karadzic, who was the wartime leader of Bosnian Serbs, is accused of masterminding the siege of Sarajevo and the execution of up to 8,000 Muslims in 1995. Karadzic was able to dramatically change his appearance and, remarkably, had been living and working near Belgrade. His fellow war criminal Gen. Ratko Mladic has not been found. Former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic was put on trial in 2002 but died before a verdict was reached.

Well, one Serbian war criminal down, several Serbian, several Sudanese and several American war criminals to go. If we manage to get them all, it just might discourage more war crimes. Time to get busy!

He was living in Belgrade, protected, as I understand it, by the Serbian Army. Surprise.

Drawing and quartering is too good for this thug and his ilk.

Did anyone notice this guy was hiding and given shelter in monastaries?

Not surprising sursam. The Serbian Orthodox Church was involved in the war from the beginning.

This is perhaps the last chapter in one of the Clinton Administration’s military expeditions. Collaborative, multi-national, swift, successful.

    Sursum,
“Did anyone notice this guy was hiding and given shelter in monastaries?”

There’s precendent for that- Nazi war criminals fleeing to South America and the Middle-East were given shelter in Catholic monasteries and funnelled money and forged passports by the Vatican.

Donald Rumsfeld was charged by the same judicial body.

Too bad our government continues to protect the war criminals that carry a US passport.

Oh big deal, anyone can make the charges. Bill Clinton was charged too. I don’t recall you bitching about the US not handing him over.

Whatever you may think about the Iraq war, uttering Bush/Rumsfeld in the same breath as these thugs makes you look like a raving moonbat.

Oh – It’s Capn. Nevermind. Already there.

    You are a conspiracy kook.
There were, definately, some Nazis whom the Catholic Church was obligated to protect.
Some Nazis had, for years, leaked information to the Church and helped to smuggle Jews and other persecuted people, through the Church.
This was done with the promise of safe passage, when the Third Reich fell.

Here is a good book to read, defending the Catholic Church during the Holocaust. It was written by a Jewish Rabbi:
