Christian Morgan, executive director of the Kansas Republican Party, is second to few in his searing e-mails about Democrats. But to his credit, he hopes Kansas voters will pick John McCain based on the merits, and not on “silly Internet rumors” about Barack Obama. “Anybody that participates in that silliness is just really doing a disservice to not only Sen. Obama — who deserves our respect — they’re also doing a disservice to John McCain,” Morgan told Harris News Service.

He need not worry. Kansas will vote Republican as it always has and always will. Not a state any candidate will waste time or money in.
Here you get paid to read Kansas There are many more opportunities to learn and start. Kansas I’m going to give you is to be confident. I’m going to share with you some of Kansas for time or money.
WTF? I think someone is posting drunk this morning. Either that, or guilty of posting while stupid?
Big eye roll…
Interesting. Swinging back McCain’s way?
Sunday, July 13, 2008
For the second straight day, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that the race for the White House is tied. Sunday’s numbers show Barack Obama and John McCain each attracting 43% of the vote…
McCain is now viewed favorably by 57% of voters and unfavorably by 40%. For Obama, the numbers are 54% favorable and 44% unfavorable.

“silly Internet rumors” about Barack Obama
Below are a few lines from Obama’s books; In HIS OWN WORDS!
From Dreams of My Father: ‘I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’
From Dreams of My Father : ‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.’
From Dreams of My Father: ‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’
From Dreams of My Father: ‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’
From Dreams of My Father: ‘I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’
And FINALLY the Most Damning one of ALL of them!!!
From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’
All you Obama maniacs explain away as best you can, or conger up something and lie, but his words speak his mind BEFORE he was ‘running for the most powerful office in the this country, and maybe the world, and can no longer be ‘honest’ about himself and still hope to win.
Anyone who doesn’t pretty well have their mind made up isn’t posting here. Even the few who aren’t sure who they will vote for, know who they will vote against.
The few who wake up on election day, put voting on their daily “to do” list for no better reason than it’s election day and they always vote, THEN they think about who they will be voting for — what is their deciding factor? I’ve always wondered. We hear lots about the undecided. Has anyone ever known one?
An act so mind numbingly stupid, Boxlock had to go and do it twice: Posting a thoroughly discredited e-mail rumor.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/ownwords.asp
http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/did_obama_write_that_he_would_stand.html
I already posted these links on the earlier Obama thread. Neither of these links are partisan. In the case of Fact Check, they do a service that our “mainstream news media” has for the most part absolutely neglected to do, actually analyze the factual content of political ads and statements.
Agnatha
For starters, neither Snopes nor Fact Check really help Obama’s case very much.
For starters, Obama is now admitting, in a NEW forward, to his “auto biography” that his book is partly fiction.
Now, you attack Boxlock for not using exact quotes? Or you attack Boxlock for quotes that are attributed to the book, but actually came from elsewhere?
Well, excuse us all to hell if we are all having a hard time understanding truth, and separating truth from fiction, when Obama started with FICTION to begin with!
“Agnatha
“For starters, neither Snopes nor Fact Check really help Obama’s case very much.”
They don’t have an interest in “helping Obama’s case”. That’s Obama’s problem.
“For starters, Obama is now admitting, in a NEW forward, to his ‘auto biography’ that his book is partly fiction.”
Irrelevant as to the truthfulness of the e-mail that Boxlock uncritically regurgitated here. Twice. The fact that it has been discredited, that the quotes either don’t exist or are out of context, has been available for some time. A responsible person, “conservative” or “liberal”, would have checked it out rather than uncritically relaying it to a blog.
“Now, you attack Boxlock for not using exact quotes? Or you attack Boxlock for quotes that are attributed to the book, but actually came from elsewhere?”
I am attacking his behavior. It figures that you wouldn’t see anything wrong with it. As I believe I have thoroughly established, you are a bullsh*tter whose personal point of view is more important than the truth. This paragraph and the next one both, I believe, confirm your status as a bullsh*tter to whom truth is unimportant.
“Well, excuse us all to hell if we are all having a hard time understanding truth, and separating truth from fiction, when Obama started with FICTION to begin with!”
Seperating truth from fiction requires a little extra work, but sometimes that “little extra work” simply requires checking out something before you relay it or post it. For example, I go to snopes every time I get an email rumor, even one that I might be inclined to believe.
Boxlock’s posted regurgitation of an e-mail was wrong. It was erroneous. Period.
“laid back Hawaii, where America’s normal racial rules never applied” ???
Granted, this is an author, quoted by Snopes, explaining Obama.
However, Hawaii is probably the MOST cliqueish and clannish and race based state in America, today.
Oriental culture is, generally, not very accepting of Black people. There is a heavy Japanese population, in Hawaii.
Also, the “native” people, in Hawaii, often feel little loyalty to American mainlanders, of any race or color.
Violent protests, and the vandalism of automobiles, by seperatists, still happens in Hawaii.
Growing up part of his life, in Hawaii, would introduce Obama to class-based ideas of self worth, not to any kind of “open” or “liberal” society as far as racial tolerance is concerned.
Hawaii is a beautiful place. I am not putting down any race or culture. However, Hawaii is dealing with a huge immigrant influx. The people with lots of money tend to be from Japan.
Granted, much of this happened after Obama left that state, but lets not hold Hawaii up as some kind of ideal. They are human there, as we are here, and the “melting pot” in Hawaii is not quite the same as it is in Kansas.
Obama has moved between cliques and clans and odd groups his entire life. His Hawaii past helps to explain that navigation, a survival skill that Obama developed.

If nothing else, some of the libs on this Blog help test arguments for me.
However, you are a different matter.
Frankly, you are the definition of a troll. You have nothing useful to say.
I am not an accountant by trade, though I have some background and work in that area.
I certainly am not “sucking at the government teet” — I just wrote out a couple of rather large tax payment checks. It feels like the other way around, let me tell you.

OBAMA is the king of BS!
I can not think of another poster here, on this Blog, that has made as many false statements as Obama.
If honesty is your most important issue, you have a horrible candidate in Obama.
It is ironic that the Eagle wants to discredit all internet rumors, relating to Obama, yet Kansas Native jumps in with a bunch of lies and trash, about McCain!
I am not a John McCain fan, by any means, but completely baseless attacks to discredit the attacker.
KansasNative
I am not perfect, but I know that other Bloggers at least check on what I am trying to say or post. They do so to either fight what I say or to support what I say.
You? You never make a valid point.
You never post an interesting argument.
Much of what you say is not true, on its face, or is contradictory, on its face.
I guarantee you that no other Blogger is researching or trying to support or refute your posts, since they are all insane rantings.
Try to cut back on the personal attacks. Try to find an interestinig angle on a topic that none of the rest of us have come up with, so far.
Try not to be such a boar, ok?
Come, now, “Franklin” –
John Sidney McCain the Third (for Shrub’s 3rd term) has so many versions of the truth he can’t keep track of them.
Last week he claimed to be a “huge fan” of the 1967 Pittsburgh Steelers and used their defensive linemen’s names when he broke under torture and started cooperating with the North Vietnamese. The previous version of the story was that he listed Green Bay Packers’ names when he sang for the commies.
He’s claimed he never cheated on first-wife Carol but started boinking 24-year-old Cindy long after he left his first wife, in direct contradiction of public sworn court records from his first divorce.
However you or I or anyone believes about any and every issue, you can find a “definitive” pronouncement from McC*nt that’ll agree with you.
I like Cindy McCain. She has done a great deal of charity work, and she never had to do much of anything if she did not want to do it.
Her work with Special Needs kids is impressive.

I’ve been told this same thing. Most who are to the left of cheney / rove have also. Just didn’t want you to get the big head, KansasNative. ;-) It’s whoever Franklin aka Econ101 is trying to “put down” at the time that earns that compliment!
I am so happy to note this election cycle another positive result of the bush administration / smear machine: we don’t leave the out of context, the made up, the smears go unaddressed. They’re so easily discredited and there are large numbers of us taking on the lies. bush has been the best ambassador the Democratic Party could have ever hoped for!
Obama fights dirty.
It is hard to feel sorry for a guy that got into office, to begin with, the way Obama did it:

MAKING OF A CANDIDATE
Obama knows his way around a ballot
Some say his ability to play political hardball goes back to his first campaign
By David Jackson and Ray Long
Tribune staff reporters
6:48 PM CDT, April 3, 2007
The day after New Year’s 1996, operatives for Barack Obama filed into a barren hearing room of the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.
There they began the tedious process of challenging hundreds of signatures on the nominating petitions of state Sen. Alice Palmer, the longtime progressive activist from the city’s South Side (see at right) And they kept challenging petitions until every one of Obama’s four Democratic primary rivals was forced off the ballot.
Fresh from his work as a civil rights lawyer and head of a voter registration project that expanded access to the ballot box, Obama launched his first campaign for the Illinois Senate saying he wanted to empower disenfranchised citizens.
But in that initial bid for political office, Obama quickly mastered the bare-knuckle arts of Chicago electoral politics. His overwhelming legal onslaught signaled his impatience to gain office, even if that meant elbowing aside an elder stateswoman like Palmer.
A close examination of Obama’s first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career: The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it.
One of the candidates he eliminated, long-shot contender Gha-is Askia, now says that Obama’s petition challenges belied his image as a champion of the little guy and crusader for voter rights.
“Why say you’re for a new tomorrow, then do old-style Chicago politics to remove legitimate candidates?” Askia said. “He talks about honor and democracy, but what honor is there in getting rid of every other candidate so you can run scot-free? Why not let the people decide?”
In a recent interview, Obama granted that “there’s a legitimate argument to be made that you shouldn’t create barriers to people getting on the ballot.”
But the unsparing legal tactics were justified, he said, by obvious flaws in his opponents’ signature sheets. “To my mind, we were just abiding by the rules that had been set up,” Obama recalled.
“I gave some thought to … should people be on the ballot even if they didn’t meet the requirements,” he said. “My conclusion was that if you couldn’t run a successful petition drive, then that raised questions in terms of how effective a representative you were going to be.”
Asked whether the district’s primary voters were well-served by having only one candidate, Obama smiled and said: “I think they ended up with a very good state senator.”
Obama behind challenges
America has been defined in part by civil rights and good government battles fought out in Chicago’s 13th District, which in 1996 spanned Hyde Park mansions, South Shore bungalows and poverty-bitten precincts of Englewood.
It was in this part of the city that an eager reform Democrat by the name of Abner Mikva first entered elected office in the 1950s. And here a young, brash minister named Jesse Jackson ran Operation Breadbasket, leading marchers who sought to pressure grocery chains to hire minorities.
Palmer served the district in the Illinois Senate for much of the 1990s. Decades earlier, she was working as a community organizer in the area when Obama was growing up in Hawaii and Indonesia. She risked her safe seat to run for Congress and touted Obama as a suitable successor, according to news accounts and interviews.
But when Palmer got clobbered in that November 1995 special congressional race, her supporters asked Obama to fold his campaign so she could easily retain her state Senate seat.
Obama not only refused to step aside, he filed challenges that nullified Palmer’s hastily gathered nominating petitions, forcing her to withdraw.
“I liked Alice Palmer a lot. I thought she was a good public servant,” Obama said. “It was very awkward. That part of it I wish had played out entirely differently.”
His choice divided veteran Chicago political activists.
“There was friction about the decision he made,” said City Colleges of Chicago professor emeritus Timuel Black, who tried to negotiate with Obama on Palmer’s behalf. “There were deep disagreements.”
Had Palmer survived the petition challenge, Obama would have faced the daunting task of taking on an incumbent senator. Palmer’s elimination marked the first of several fortuitous political moments in Obama’s electoral success: He won the 2004 primary and general elections for U.S. Senate after tough challengers imploded when their messy divorce files were unsealed. Jack Ryan, (republican) and Blair Hull (Democrat)
Obama contended that in the case of the 1996 race, in which he routed token opposition in the general election, he was ready to compete in the primary if necessary.
“We actually ran a terrific campaign up until the point we knew that we weren’t going to have to appear on the ballot with anybody,” Obama said. “I mean, we had prepared for it. We had raised money. We had tons of volunteers. There was enormous enthusiasm.”
And he defended his use of ballot maneuvers: “If you can win, you should win and get to work doing the people’s business.”
At the time, though, Obama seemed less at ease with the decision, according to aides. They said the first-time candidate initially expressed reservations about using challenges to eliminate all his fellow Democrats.
“He wondered if we should knock everybody off the ballot. How would that look?” said Ronald Davis, the paid Obama campaign consultant whom Obama referred to as his “guru of petitions.”
In the end, Davis filed objections to all four of Obama’s Democratic rivals at the candidate’s behest.”

Linda
I take it, from your support of KansasNative, on this very thread, that you support what KansasNative has said, on this very thread.
That makes you a coward, Linda. KansasNative has said some awful things that he can not prove. KansasNative has said some things against McCain that have been proven false.
Linda, is your slogan, “my side right or wrong”?
I have criticized conservatives, on this Blog, when I thought the personal attacks were over the top.
When have YOU ever found fault with any liberal on this Blog?
Are you ok with the tactics of KansasNative?
Back to Obama
The man won his first race by kicking everyone else off the ballot, with legal challenges.
Then, Obama wins after sexual scandals “leaked” to the press, against two other rivals.
Obama is dirty.
This is not a “new kind of politics”
This is bad, bad Leroy Brown, baddest man in the whole damn town, South Side of Chicago dirty politics.
Hey, Franklin, I was only noting this is another indication of your credibility when you tell each of us how very “special” we are! You may read into my words whatever you choose, as you usually do.
Snopes says “Multiple” NOT False!!!

But who the hell reads your post…nobody.
Snopes says “Multiple” they don’t say False!!!
McCain and Obama are actually space aliens who have come to this planet to harvest our flesh.
Agnatha,
Your other ‘authority’ says “Other quotes in the e-mail are offered without their full context”. In other words he still said them and like I said you can spin it but it doesn’t change what he said.
Is that the way to our wallets, through our flesh?
Is that the way to our wallets, through our flesh?
Ahem. . .well, I know one profession where that works!
. . .which, come to think of it, is quite relevant! :)

Floyd Brown is putting together some video attack ads with Obama’s VOICE saying some of these things.
Obama made and sold audio versions of at least one book.
It will be difficult to wiggle out of it, when we all hear Obama SAYING it!
Chicago is going through a period with some of the worst gang violence in its history.
Kids are being shot, by gangs, on school property.
Obama voted AGAINST a law to fight gangs:
” No, On Tougher Penalties for Gang-Bangers
In 2002, Obama voted “NO” on HB 1812, a bill designed to toughen penalties for crimes committed in furtherance of gang activities.
-HB 1812 May 12, 2001″
Thanks Franklin for that info.
I must confess though, and this is NOT directed at you or even most of the bloggers by the way, I certainly don’t put as much research into some of my blog postings as I could simply because many of those reading and responding with their juvenile attacks simply aren’t worth the time or effort.
If I get a few corrected…big deal, the essence is pretty much the same and the intent honest.
Box
If I testified, in court, that I saw a man in a blue pick up truck shoot a kid with a rifle while the truck was at a complete stop, and gave the correct license number of the truck, and some of the libs on this Blog KNEW and SUPPORTED the truck driver?
They would say that, since the truck was moving, but slowly, and since the kid was actually 19 and not, technically, a “kid” and since the truck was really green and not blue, that I was THEREFORE a LIAR!
Never mind that somebody got killed!
Never mind if the shooter admitted the crime.
Never mind the actual relevance of any of these facts or points.
The libs on this Blog discount EVERYTHING said against another liberal, if they can find ANYTHING
that we say that is not 100% accurate.
It is funny to watch, since the same liberals allow other liberals to make up all kinds of stuff.
Also, the same liberals allow Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Al Gore and now, Obama, to lie through their teeth, without consequence or correction.
They can not live up to their own standards.
And, the basic theme of what we are saying, abouth THEIR heroes, is true.
It does not matter, in the end, what color the truck might have been! We got the right guy, and we are right about what he did!
Now, having said that, the “Dan Rather” attack style is wrong. We should do our best to have our facts straight. Just because we want something to be true does not make it true.
After all of the media falsehoods, like Dan Rather and the National Guard documents, all the fake stories from “phoney soldiers” who were never in battle, which were reprinted all over the country by several newspapers, after all of the journalists who have been exposed as complete frauds, in the last decade, the MSM has no moral authority to scold the Bloggers.
You Republicans voted TWICE for WORST PRESIDENT EVER
who with Cheney and Rove introduced the most
uncivil and vile form of political attacks EVER and
now you whine and complain like babies with dirty
diapers when it gets handed back to you on a
platter.
Sucks to be you…
Sounds like someone has slipped into a new level of paranoia. I got through half of the lengthy whining post. Anyone able to red the whole thing? It would be funny if it weren’t so very sad that a human can be so mentally ill and removed from reality.
LOL Linda!!
KS Native… It’s amazing to see how Boxlock responds to Snopes’ findings… Doesnt matter at all to him that some of the quotes are out of context… Amazing!!!
Remember that Savage attack by the Right Wingers on Obama, because he mistakenly said “57″ states, instead of “47″ states??
Where is the outrage because McCain says in his book that he used the names of the Green Bay Packers at his interrogation when captured… and then… when he is in Steel City, he changes it to the STEELERS… who in 1967 had one of the worst records in the NFL!!
Oh, but he must have just mis-spoken…
LOL LOL
Because we’re all human, that includes ALL of us who post here and politicians of every party, we make mistakes. I always hope my next mistake will be a NEW one. Making the same one over and over somehow seems more serious than just a mistake.
Most of us are also able to understand we each choose the politician who most closely agrees with our political philosophy. And somehow we don’t look for evil in the opponent, just choose the one who most closely agrees with what we think and believe is better.
That’s my reality. Guess there are other realities from what I read here.
I dont think McCain is an evil person… I dont even think he knows what “evil” means… I just think he is who he is… And I dont happen to agree with him… I would LIKE him to be another IKE, but he never will be… So, he just cant be my choice…
“Chas” offers this milkshake of human kindness –
“I dont think McCain is an evil person… I dont even think he knows what “evil” means… I just think he is who he is…”
John Sidney McCain the Third (for Shrub’s 3rd term) has many of the same issues as Bush.
Both are under-performing sons of privilege. George WMD Bush got gentlemen’s Cs at Yale; McSame got out of Annapolis better than only four others in a class of 500.
I agree Chas! We’ve had almost eight years of the foreign and economic policies he wants to continue. That says enough for me to know he isn’t my choice!
Chas, Snopes findings said “Multiple”, it did not say ‘False’.
BIG DIFFERENCE!
Your guy is an inexperienced jerk who has no background, and little to no platform for the office of Pres.
Oh….I forgot, he’s running on “Change”. But what?
“George WMD Bush got gentlemen’s Cs at Yale; McSame got out of Annapolis better than only four others in a class of 500.”
Yale, Annapolis, not bad schools.
And just what do you have….I’ll bet Nothing!
I can’t see what school attended or grades achieved by one of the posters here could mean. As far as the candidate for the Democratic Party — Senator Obama graduated with a B.A. from Columbia in 1983 and he graduated with a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991.
See this before it is pulled, as similar videos have been recently blocked.
Chris Matthews slam dunked Senator Kirk Watson, when he asked the Senator for just one example of Obama’s legislative accomplishments. If you want to see a politician choke on national TV…watch this! Chris was surprised when the Obama campaign’s own surrogates are left utterly stumped when asked to list his legislative accomplishments as a Senator.

Obama, McCain agree on many once-divisive issues
“Stem-cell research and nuclear weapons are just two examples of a surprising but little-noticed aspect of the 2008 campaign: Democrat Obama and Republican McCain agree on a range of issues that have divided the parties under Bush.
On immigration, faith-based social services, expanded government wiretapping, global warming and more, Obama and McCain have arrived at similar stances — even as they have spent weeks trying to amplify the differences between them on other issues, such as healthcare and taxes.
Even on Iraq, a signature issue for both candidates, McCain and Obama have edged toward each other.
The result is that in many areas of policy, the general direction of the next White House seems already set, even if the details are not.”

I do not think Obama will win.
Republicans will take a hit, in Congress, but I give McCain better than a 50% chance now.
Obama is on TAPE, saying some very, very stupid things.
There is no way to put “White people” in “context” and there is no way to put “I learned how to take advantage of White guilt” into context.
Obama’s autobiography is full of lies, when it comes to dates and people. However, Obama wrote rather honestly about what he believes.
Obama’s negatives will be much, much higher very soon.

And for the record, Price, for the 94th time, if you want to attack me (at your own peril) I am fair game – that is understood.
Attacking my family is not acceptable.
So………………….. and the horse you rode in on.
WS Clark,
You have done far more to your family here than I have.
I didn’t implicate your granddaughter in saying such vulgar things on a blog.
Why did you?
WS Clark,
Also, a few nights ago you said you would apologize for the things you said about my mother if I had for something else.
I upheld my end of the bargain.
Why didn’t you uphold yours?
Again, they are so enthused about McCain, they won’t bash Senator Obama.
“Also, a few nights ago you said you would apologize for the things you said about my mother if I had for something else.”
I have never said anything about your mother, Price.
“Why did you?”
Ah, it was a response to your repeated attacks on me regarding my granddaughter?
Dumbass.

Where are these repeated attacks against your granddaughter you accuse me of?
I have never said one bad thing about her.
You have said far worse about her than I have.
Radical Muslims for Obama
Assyrian International News Agency ^ | 2-5-2008 | Joe Kaufman

With its similarity to popular online sites such as Facebook and MySpace and its links to a network of grassroots blogs, Barack Obama’s campaign website has been hailed as a testament to the candidate’s transformative politics. But at least part of the senator’s online outreach, “Muslim Americans for Obama ’08,” proposes installing Muslim prayer areas in public places and giving Muslims time off for prayer and has denounced Obama’s colleagues in the U.S. Senate who happen to be Jewish. This segment of Obama’s online outreach also has ties to unindicted co-conspirators in terror trials and has recruited Obama supporters from among the ranks of fundamentalist Muslim extremists.
On the blog, which is attached to BarackObama.com, viewers can read about “the Senate pro-Israeli zionist hawk Joe Lieberman,” as well as criticism aimed at Obama himself for getting too cozy with the Israeli lobby. As stated on the blog, that last part was derived from information found on Electronic Intifada (EI), a terror apologist website based in Chicago, Illinois, Obama’s hometown. According to the site’s co-founder, Ali Abunimah, Senator Obama once told him, regarding Abunimah’s anti-American and anti-Israel writings, to “Keep up the good work!”
While the Muslim Americans for Obama ’08 blog is hosted by Obama’s website, it is actually part of another site that goes by the same name, located at muslimsforobama08.com. The registered agent for the site is Zakiyah Omar, a women’s costume designer from Jacksonville, Florida. Omar has been involved in the Obama campaign since December 2006 (She has had the site since February ’07). She too has her own blog hosted by the official Obama website.
On the Muslim Americans for Obama ’08 site, one will find a list of upcoming events, issues and solutions, details on how to join, a links section to sites of interest, and of course, a link to the blog. There’s even a toll-free number to call for more information.
Within the events section, a number of the listings pertain to conferences and conventions being sponsored by organizations that have a number of troubling ties. One is the 44th Annual ISNA National Convention, held in Rosemont, Illinois.
ISNA or the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) was recently named an “Unindicted Co-conspirator” for a Dallas trial that dealt with the funding of millions of dollars to Hamas. Beginning in December 2003, ISNA was the subject of a Senate investigation into the financing of terror groups overseas. The group currently uses its website to propagate violent hatred against Jews and Christians.
Another of the events listed is the 32nd ICNA-MAS Convention, held in Hartford, Connecticut. ICNA or the Islamic Circle of North America, in August 2006, was the top donor to a Pakistani charity that, at the time, had given $99,000 to the head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal. Four people associated with the ICNA-related ‘Houston Taliban’ were arrested and charged with jihad training with firearms, for the purpose of joining the Taliban to attack Americans overseas.
MAS or the Muslim American Society, like ISNA, uses the web to spread violent hatred against non-Muslims. In April 2004, MAS’s Communications Director, Randall Todd “Ismail” Royer, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his activities within the ‘Virginia Jihad Network,’ a group that was conspiring with Laskar-e-Taiba (LeT) to attack Americans and Indians abroad.
Yet another event listing is the 2007 MANA National Convention, held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. MANA or the Muslim Alliance in North America was founded in May of 2000, in response to the arrest of cop killer H. Rap Brown, a.k.a. Jamil Al-Amin. The President (Amir) of the organization is Siraj Wahhaj, an individual that was named by the U.S. government an “Unindicted Co-conspirator” in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
According to Muslim Americans for Obama ’08, it took part in “VOTER REGISTRATION/INFORMATION BOOTHS,” at each of the above venues. Taking that into consideration, since Muslim Americans for Obama ’08 is officially part of the Barack Obama for President team – or as the campaign puts it, “Community” – one can conclude that Senator Obama and/or his campaign had sanctioned its attendance at these events.
Further troubling are the following “Issues & Solutions” on the site: Institute a Law to allow Muslim Employees to take an hour off from work for Friday Jummah Prayer. Make the 2 Eid’s recognized National Holidays on Calendars with days off from work. Provide prayer areas suitable for Salah and Jummah, in public and private facilities. (i.e. Malls, Airports, Universities and government buildings.)
Found on the right side of the website’s homepage are a series of links, most of which deal with information about Senator Obama and the campaign. One of them, though, is a link to Aswat Al-Islam, a radical Islamic multimedia outlet. Muslim Americans for Obama ’08 lists it as “Quran (Audio) English Translation.”
Aswat Al-Islam features the works of such Islamist luminaries as: “Uninidicted Co-conspirators” of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Siraj Wahhaj and Bilal Philips; anti-Christian bigot, Ahmed Deedat; pro-wife beating author, Jamal Badawi; suicide bombing supporter, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi; and the chief cleric of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, who has called for the murders of Jews, Christians and Americans and has described Jews as “the scum of the human race, the rats of the world, the killers of prophets, and the grandsons of monkeys and pigs,” Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.
According to Muslim Americans for Obama ’08, Senator Barack Obama “is the BEST candidate for the job in 2008.” But being the best candidate should have as a requisite keeping company that is worthy of respect. Recently, Obama has been cited for having a racist and anti-Israel pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and a campaign advisor that has expressed sympathy for Hamas and Hezbollah, Robert Malley.
If Sen. Obama truly is worthy of the presidency of the United States, he should publicly distance himself from these extremist groups and individuals. And if he does not want his campaign to be seen as hospitable to radical voices, he should sever his ties with the blog that provides credible evidence for this charge.

Oh, now Franklin is going with the Free Republic. [FE]There’s a good source.
And, of course, being supported by a group means that he agrees with them.[/FE]
Like I said: A bullsh*tter has no integrity. None.
Don’t ever apologize to Clark Nathan. He’ll just take your apology wad it up and throw the same thing back in your face over and over. Clark hasn’t learned to be a man yet and accept apologies gracefully.
Besides, as you said, he has done much worse to other posters and never has apologized for anything he has written here.
Don’t do it.
“The way you said what you did was clearly an insult towards my mother as well.”
The insult was directed at YOU, Price, not your mother. I know nothing of your mother and don’t care to.
I have no idea where you get your sense of superiority, Price, and your “gift” of being able to judge the actions and beliefs of others, but it is very unbecoming, and quite frankly, disgusting.
You presume to be able to judge my attitudes vis vi, my granddaughter, yet you know nothing of parenthood or of being a grandparent.
You only judge and condemn, Price, yet you whine like a two year old when you take return fire. You must have taken “blog decorum” lessons from McCluer.
Crybaby.
Agnatha,
The links presented, on OBAMA’s web page, are to radical Islamic organizations.
It is OBAMA endorsing radical Islam!
Also, for once, why don’t you try to look at the facts presented, and try to refute those stated facts, rather than your knee jerk attack of the source?
If you will do just a little bit of work, before you spout off, you might learn that Free Republic almost ALWAYS relists or reposts from other sources.
So, with a small amount of effort, you would see that my Free Republic post actually was reposting an Assyrian International News Agency post.
Rosseel, is Barack Obama an Arab or African American?
Eh?
whoa…DA is insulting someone?
*shock*
The threats are not far behind.
“whoa…DA is insulting someone?”
Well, the Golf Nut rears his ugly head and bad breath to make a guest appearance on WE Blog!
Wow!
I am glad that the judge didn’t revoke your bail, Nutz, and you are currently free to pollute the world with your attitude.
Say, are you going for a reduced charge plea bargain or are you going to take your chances with your fellow citizens?
If I were you, Golfie, I would take any deal that was offered.
Obama is an American of questionable judgement and questionable loyalty.
Obama went to a church which openly praised racist anti Jewish bigot Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, a cult offshoot of Islam.
Obama has many Arab connections.
Obama has many Moslem connections.
Obama is obviously trying to hide those connections.
Obama’s own web page links to radical Moslem and radical Arab organizations.
Obama DOES, definately, have Arab heritage. I have linked to that information, in the past.
Obama visited Pakistan, while Obama was still in college, and while Pakistan was in the middle of great political conflict. How did he get in?
Look, this guy is a rookie, an empty suit with no real experience.
We have nothing to go on other than his very few votes, in the United States Senate, and his brief time in the Illinois legislature. That, and Obama has said some rather stupid things in his books.
“People are policy” it is said.
Obama has always surrounded himself with nuts and thugs. Obama has been very, very friendly towards radical Arab and radical Moslem organizations.
I think Obama has a very high level of Arab heritage. The exact percentage is not the issue. That alone would not worry me. I have voted for Arabs, in the past. What bothers me is the dishonesty of Obama. What bothers me is the judgement of Obama.
“Obama DOES, definately, have Arab heritage. I have linked to that information, in the past. ”
“I think Obama has a very high level of Arab heritage.”
And I completely debunked your “theory” of Obama being an Arab in about twenty minutes – and you never even tried to refute the evidence.
=)
Typical response.
I expected nothing intelligent from DA. And he underwhelmingly performed.
For the record, Rosseel’s “evidence” that Barack Obama is actually Arab, not African American consisted of two ASSUMPTIONS – one that Obama’s father was Arab and the other that his grandfather was Arab.
Neither assumption is accurate.
Paul the Con is just making stuff up.
“Typical response.”
Tsk, tsk, Golfie, you used to be better with the insults than that – did the arrest and perp walk take the spirit out of you?
Just wondering, you know, INNOCENT until proven guilty and all that.
Geez WS
Quit feeding these idiots.

Tell him to start saying something left. Seems saying stuff “right” aint working for him.
As you….were.
Ol’ DA is hittin’ the weed hard tonight. His responses are redundant and devoid of meaning.
Although, honestly…he’s rather dull when he’s sober.
Franklin is a paid shill for the gop —- they can never win / do anything honestly ——
McCain finished 5th from the bottom in his Naval Academy Class, he damaged 5 airplanes before getting captured his flying ability was in question from day one — he ain’t no Chuck Yeagar, he threw his 1st wife under the bus (she has Gramm for company now) — why did he withdraw from the 2000 campaigm, what were his buddies the bushies try to accuse him of —- what role did he and cindy play in the Keating scandal? What about his helping the Airbus / Eads folks in Congress by insisting the specs for the tanker be rewritten at the behest of the lobbyists now on his campaign ………..
as the son of an admiral he has led a charmed life and has milked his POW status for a great deal of patriotic sympathy votes and his marraige to a brewery heiress has only added to the ease of his life — —- he’s been in Congress for 25 years yet acts like the immigration problem just cropped up ladt week — he’s done nothing effectively on the immigration issue — why ???? Couldn’t be about how the illegals are good for business —-
McCain = BUSH
What’s so bad about that —
EVERYTHING!!!!
Say, Golfie, it that ten to twenty at hard labor that you’re facing or will they give you some easy time due to your physical (fat) condition?
“…..he’s rather dull when he’s sober.”
and you’re just dull —
Gang Trouble? Laura’s on the Way!
I still have the email DA sent me – signed William Stephenson Clark, but the email was from Steven Decker [swdecker@msn.com] – threatening me with physical abuse.
Fortunately, for Clark/Decker/DA – I laughed it off.
“Fortunately, for Clark/Decker/DA – I laughed it off.”
Funny boy you are Golfie – everyone knows that the SWDecker e-mail is a phony for blog purposes – my real e-mail is WSClark52@gmail.com.
And as for physical violence, I have heard that the UN Inspectors are concerned about your WMD – your breath.
golfnut are youan asshole on the golf course too —– make vigorous use of your foot wedge —- a trait I find most prominent in republican golfers ……
WS Clark,
So I see. It is the old double standard and hypocrisy at play again.
If I say mean things, I am wrong and you point out how nasty I am.
When I don’t say mean things and point out the nasty mean things you say I am a crybaby.
Either way, you still atribute vulgar language to your granddaughter in an attempt to insult me yet you are the one who makes a big deal about anyone bringing up your family.
And you still didn’t uphold your end of the bargain.
You have never had any blog decorum since day one. So I wouldn’t expect you to care that much about it now.
I am simply pointing out the hypocrisy of using your own granddaughter to insult people here while claiming that she shouldnt be part of anyones insults here.
You said that my father mated with a dog to produce me. That is pretty much an insult towards my mother.
You said you would apologize for the comment if I did for the ones I made.
I apologized, you didn’t.
That is some real character there WS Clark.
“That is some real character there WS Clark.”
Further *shock*
“You have never had any blog decorum since day one.”
Coming from you, Little Popgun Price, I consider that a high compliment.
“Further *shock*”
Who cares what you think, Golfie?
“You said that my father mated with a dog to produce me.”
No, that was an insult directed at you and your father.
I think that dogs are wonderful.
You, not so much.
How interesting that we have Franklin in full spin tonight, considering the topic of this thread, bringing forth every questionable claim that he can (the Obama is an Arab claim remains ludicrous for reasons that have already been pointed out).
And now we have Franklin defending a freeper (relayed) article (The Free Republic’s bias is well known, and this would include their passing on other sources). I actually did hold my nose and read it Franklin. It was a chain of questionable linkages (the Muslims for Obama website has an events page that mentions “objectionable organizations like ISNA, which was an “unindicted co-conspirator” for funding HAMAS). It was this claim, however, that I particularly found interesting: “The group (ISNA) currently uses its website to propagate violent hatred against Jews and Christians.”
I’ve seen the ISNA website, several times, Franklin, and this is complete and total bullsh*t. And get this, I have found a lot on the ISNA website that I DO disagree with. Strongly. I think they sometimes advocate for excessive government accomodation for their religion (sort of like some conservative Christian organizations). But they certainly also promote a eucamenical approach to other faiths (although unfortunately largely limited to Abrahamic faiths, you know, the very jews and christians they supposedly advocate “violent hatred” for). Basically this joker got worked up and then went ahead and said something that was flat out untrue. Think I am wrong? Then please, find primary documentation that ISNA promotes “violent hatred against Jews and Christians”. The Free Republic and other right wing nut websites (like right wing nut Andrew Cochran’s counterterroism blog, do not count).
Here you go, I’ll help you out. This is where you would find PRIMARY documentation that ISNA uses their website to promote “violent hatred against Jews and Christians”.
http://www.isna.net/Home.aspx
Keep in mind, I have found content that I object to here. Simple content is not the point, however. Please find content that advocates violent hatred against Jews and Christians, or admit that Joe Kaufman was less than honest here.
As for the rest, the author’s message, with all the linkages between organizations mentioned and scary people, is clear:
Muslims are scary. We should be scared of anyone who accomodates them in any way, or of anyone who muslims say that they support.
It’s fear mongering bullsh*t, a mixture of falsehoods, half-truths, and truths, relayed by another bullsh*tter.
And keep in mind Kaufman is already clearly less than honest (unless Franklin, you want to take up my challenge and find primary documentation concerning ISNA’s promotion of violent hatred).
WS Clark,
Of course it was directed at my father and I, but at the expense of calling my mother a dog.
You said you would apologize. You didn’t.
Do you think that Regular made the comment about your granddaughter because he was trying to insult her? Nope. He was trying to insult you.
“Nope. He was trying to insult you.”
Well then, that makes it all okay now, doesn’t it?
WS Clark,
You tell me, it is your reasoning I am using.
“You tell me, it is your reasoning I am using.”
Huh?
…………………… I guess you can’t tell the difference between making sexually inappropriate comments about a child and making insults directed towards adults…………………………
But then, you wouldn’t know anything about any of that, would you Price.
WS Clark,
What about implying that your own granddaughter would use such vulgar language trying to insult someone on a blog?
I guess that is just perfectly fine?
Why did you say you would apologize if you never had any intention of doing so?
WS Clark,
You said the standard was to not involve family. To leave them out of it.
So why is it ok for you to insult my mother and use your own granddaughter to insult someone?
I’ve only read half-way through this thread, but I remember a Paul Rossell who would openly and quickly admit when he was in error on the factual content of his posts. (Which was often). That man must have passed on and this Franklin character is claiming Paul’s mantel, but doing a much worse job of being a mindless shill. It is sad, really.
To quasi-quote from a recent news topic “This sounds much different from the Paul Rossell, I knew.”
Sorry, Indie, you are way elevating Franklin. He is not an accountant (government or otherwise) he is an insurance saleman.
From John Prine: “All my friends turned out to be insurance salesmen…”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ymncRQzQVk
I noticed that my comment above is “awaiting moderation” and apparently this is because I forgot an asterisk when quoting Harry Frankfurt. It does not appear when I look for it on another computer.
So let’s try it again with the asterisk in place.
Boxlock: “Snopes says ‘Multiple’ NOT False!!!”
1) “Multiple” includes false.
2) Well, I guess that just makes it OK doesn’t it (since, you know, it’s not all false)?
Boxlock, be a man and own up. You relayed false information without bothering to look it up first. This isn’t the first time you’ve done this. And neither time have you had the integrity to actually just say “I was wrong”.
Remember the discussion we had awhile back, where I posted something, discovered that it was incorrect, and pointed it out in a subsequent post? Something I strongly doubt you ever would have caught (although you tried to jump on it in the subsequent discussion)?
I sincerely hope, sir, that you show more integrity in face to face encounters than you have here.
“But who the hell reads your post…nobody.
Snopes says “Multiple” they don’t say False!!!”
Back to the playground retort that you seem to reliably resort to when you get your rhetorical *ss handed to you (Well, well, nobody cares what you say!!”). I notice you spent three post replying to me, which kind of gives lie to this retort, now doesn’t it?
Surprise us. Be a man. Own up to your mistake.
“Agnatha,
“Your other ‘authority’ (I assume that would be factcheck) says ‘Other quotes in the e-mail are offered without their full context’. In other words he still said them and like I said you can spin it but it doesn’t change what he said.”
1) Putting quotes in their correct context isn’t spinning, and Fact Check spins for nobody. Do you realize, Boxlock, that I have linked to Fact Check articles that indicate misleading or just plain false attacks on John McCain or other Republicans? Probably not, since “no one reads what I say” (of course, this is in reply to your third reply to a single post of mine).
2) Relaying quotes out of context to create a false impression of what someone is saying is, well, lying.
“I must confess though, and this is NOT directed at you or even most of the bloggers by the way, I certainly don’t put as much research into some of my blog postings as I could simply because many of those reading and responding with their juvenile attacks simply aren’t worth the time or effort.
“If I get a few corrected…big deal, the essence is pretty much the same and the intent honest.”
In other words, you really aren’t concerned about the truthfulness of what you relay, because you are right either way so the intent is honest.
From an earlier post of mine regarding Franklin. I am quoting moral philosopher Harry Frankfurt.
http://www.gwinnettdailyonline.com/articleB5BD6D4417AF444DBD8F9770AA729B26.asp
“But the fact about himself that the liar hides is that he is attempting to lead us away from a correct apprehension of reality; we are not to know that he wants us to believe something he supposes to be false. The fact about himself that the bullsh*tter hides, on the other hand, is that the truth-values of his statements are of no central interest to him; what we are not to understand is that his intention is neither to report the truth nor conceal it.”
“See? See? Snopes said that the the status of the e-mail was multiple, not false! So it’s OK! I wasn’t lying!”
Bullsh*t. The fact is, you didn’t care because, as far as you are concerned, you are on the “right side”.
I notice Franklin is spamming the board with allegations from such unimpeachable sources as obamawtf and Bozo Bozell’s Judicial Watch.
Franklin is spinning like a bullsh*t covered top, covering the walls with his…well…bullsh*t.
Do you guys really think that you are doing “your side” any good with your behavior?
And now, some bullsh*t free content on actual issues.

AG and WS
Who brought up the “Obama is an Arab” topic on this thread, first?
Hint: It was NOT me!
Besides, Obama is an Arab “wanna-be” even if his Arab heritage is lower than I think it is.
Obama is very friendly to terrorists and terrorist groups. Obama hangs with people who are very hostile towards Jews and hostile towards Israel.
It is only natural, as all of us are trying to figure out who Obama is, that these questions of his past, and his heritage, would come up.
Especially since Obama is such a proven liar, we have to figure out most of this stuff for ourselves.
ISNA is NOT a harmless organization:
http://blogs.kansas.com/weblog/2008/07/vote-on-policies-not-rumors/#comment-383384
ISNA is an unindicted co-conspirator, NOW, in a criminal case.
“ISNA has never condemned terrorist groups like HAMAS or Hizballah by name. More notably, in June of 1997, two and a half years after HAMAS was officially designated as a terrorist organization by the United States government (and long after common sense and reality indicated as such), top HAMAS official Mousa Abu Marzook thanked ISNA (and several other U.S.-based Islamist and “civil rights” organizations), writing that ISNA supported him through his “ordeal” – Marzook had been detained at JFK airport in 1995 and arrested and the Israelis were seeking his extradition. Marzook wrote that ISNA’s efforts had “consoled” him.
ISNA’s magazine, Islamic Horizons, is a hotbed of pro-jihadist literature, and has long championed HAMAS and HAMAS officials, notably Mr. Marzook himself. In the November/December 1995 issue, almost a full year after HAMAS was officially designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization, Islamic Horizons published an article titled, “Muslim Leader Hostage to Israeli Interests.” That leader was Marzook, characterized by ISNA as:
[a] member of the political wing of Hamas, disliked by the Zionist entity for its Islamic orientation, continues to be held hostage in the U.S. at the whims of his Zionist accusers.
And in the September/October 1997 issues, two and a half years after the designation of Hamas as a terrorist group, Islamic Horizons published an article describing Marzook as:
[j]ailed without trial in New York for-months for alleged ties to organizations seeking Palestinian rights.
The pro-Hamas rhetoric and apologia in Islamic Horizons is off the charts, yet ISNA continues to get a free pass as a “moderate” organization by much of the government and media, who have probably not bothered to pick up a copy of its magazine.”
Sorry, that link above, got messed up:
http://www.investigativeproject.org/article/357
Why am I not surprised?
Do you realize Franklin, that you are exactly the sort of nasty little rumor monger that the New Yorker was spoofing with its cover?
First of all, before we go further, let’s look at what happened.
Franklin relayed a spurious editorial (and it was an editorial, not an article) that basically tried to paint Barack Obama as a Muslim sympathizer, and that the Muslims for Obama site has unsavory associations (mainly because of the events calender that was on the site).
In the article, there was this allegation from author Joe Kaufman.
“The group (ISNA) currently uses its website to propagate violent hatred against Jews and Christians.”
I’ve responded that I have actually been to this site, several times, and that while I had found sentiments that I have objected to, I have seen nothing to the effect that the website propogates “violent hatred against Jews and Christians”.
Now, this allegation concerns not only ISNA’s agenda, open or hidden, it concerns the conduct of the ISNA’s website. So, I posted a link to ISNA’s website and issued an invitation for Franklin to find primary documentation that ISNA uses its website to propogate violent hatred. Primary documentation would, of course, could only come from ISNA’s website. If Kaufman’s allegation was true, then one would find, in fact, evidence of the propogation of violent hatred. One can find it on other websites, everything to Stormfront and other white supremicist sites to some Christian Reconstructionist sites (and yes folks, it would indeed slander the Christian Right to equate them with the Reconstructionist yahoos), and yes, even English language Islamist sites where it is not hard to find examples of advocating violent hatred. I have found nothing of the sort on ISNA’s website.
So what do we get?
Franklin: “ISNA is NOT a harmless organization:”
Followed by what was meant to be this link:
http://www.investigativeproject.org/article/357
Here is a Wikipedia article on the guy behind this website, Steve Emerson. I remember him from back in the early 1990’s. I also remember his statement about the Oklahoma City bombing, and the reaction it caused at the time. However, he has also done some good investigation work on jihadist extremism and its links to Islamist movements (which are far broader than simple jihadist terrorism).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Emerson
One thing that I found that is untrue is this statement…
“ISNA has never condemned terrorist groups like HAMAS or Hizballah by name.”
From the ISNA website:
“ISNA remains consistent in its rejection of terrorism and violence. ISNA rejects all acts of terrorism, including those perpetrated by Hamas, Hizbullah and any other group that claims Islam as their inspiration.”
It should be noted, however, that this statement may have been written after Emerson wrote his.
The rest of Emerson’s editorial goes on about articles written in ISNA magazines in the 1990’s, and relationships between NAIT and figures involved in the political arm of Hamas.
Obvious points:
1) Emerson is not a primary source about the content of ISNA’s website.
2) The claim that ISNA uses its website to propogate “violent hatred of Jews and Christians” remains unsupported.
In other words, as usual, Franklin has been caught relaying unsupported bullsh*t. Unless, that is, he wants to accept my challenge, go to the primary source, and find evidence of ISNA promoting on its website “violent hatred of Jews and Christians”.
Like I’ve said before, I have my concerns about ISNA (it should be noted that there are a fair number of American MUSLIMS who have expressed concerns about ISNA). It seems, historically at least, that they represented more orthodox/conservative Muslims and that they have advocated for accomodations that, I believe, were sometimes less than reasonable. I would be interested in knowing more about possible ties to the North American Muslim Brotherhood:

But, none of this is to say that ISNA is in any way a an Islamist, much less jihadist, organization. Ingrid Mattson and the forces that assisted her to occupy ISNA’s presidency seem to be moving in a truly moderate direction (ISNA now has expressed the wish to represent the full spectrum of American Muslims, including more liberal Muslims and those of the Sufi tradition).
ISNA’s side of the co-conspirator issue:

Note this statement:
“The lead prosecutor in the case told lawyers for the two organizations ‘that ISNA and NAIT were not subjects or targets in the HLF prosecution or in any other pending investigation.’ The prosecutor also acknowledged that the public labeling was simply a ‘legal tactic’ intended to allow the government to introduce hearsay evidence against HLF later at trial.”
Now, Franklin also engaged in one of his more classic bullsh*t shill posts. Let’s visit it (briefly, that’s all my stomach can stand).
“Besides, Obama is an Arab “wanna-be” even if his Arab heritage is lower than I think it is.”
1) I call bullsh*t (unjustified attribution of motive, not to mention just what is the point of this nonsense anyway?-unless it is the unsavory racist hint that Arabs are Muslims, and Muslims are scary).
2) Note the backtracking accompanying the totally unsupported claim that Obama is an Arab “wannabe” (as opposed to what Franklin claimed he was before, an Arab trying to pretend he is a black man). Not surprising, since Franklin’s original “source” said that he was still working on substantiating his claim, which appeared to be looking at names (and as I stated before, “Arabic names tend to be Islamic names that are commonly found from sub-Saharan Africa to Indonesia, also, another website had no trouble listing the names of Obama’s male paternal ancestors).
“Obama is very friendly to terrorists and terrorist groups. Obama hangs with people who are very hostile towards Jews and hostile towards Israel.”
1) I smell an attempt to drag Farrakhan into this.
“It is only natural, as all of us are trying to figure out who Obama is, that these questions of his past, and his heritage, would come up.
“Especially since Obama is such a proven liar, we have to figure out most of this stuff for ourselves.”
And of course, this is said without any apparent irony from Mr. “Say Anything” Franklin.
You are in no position to be calling people proven liars.
Right here, Franklin, is your site to find PRIMARY documentation that ISNA uses its website to promote “violent hatred of Jews and Christians”.

I wasn’t strong enough on this statement:
““Obama is very friendly to terrorists and terrorist groups.”
Bullsh*t.
“Obama hangs with people who are very hostile towards Jews and hostile towards Israel.”
Of course, he has also been seen “hanging with” Jews and pro-Israel activists. McCain was “hanging with” Pastor Hagee, who thought that the Holocaust was part of God’s plan to get Jews back to their homeland.
But then, that’s Franklin, use rumors and innuendo about associations with scary people like Muslims instead of focusing on issues and policy differences.
Shill.
lindaink55; I made up my mind about Obama several months ago! I just don’t go harping about it like some people do about McCain. I have never been a McCain fan and never will be. He just doesn’t do anything for me. Obama, on the other hand gives me hope for the future. I don’t see that with McCain! He can’t even log on to a PC!!!
Welcome to posting at WEBlog, Woodmanor. Jump in and let us hear what you’re thinking more often.
Most of us probably have our minds made up on our vote, don’t you think? I think you and I have chosen to vote for the best candidate for all Americans!
I know how many make fun of the “hope” and “change” Obama talks about. I’ve read the questions about his lack of experience. But I understand what you’re saying about the hope for the future. When I listen to Obama speak to Americans like we’re adults and he trusts us to understand, I feel motivated. I feel like the challenges ahead will have solutions and working together we can do it! Motivated Americans will make positive changes and improvements. The politics of fear won’t work this time. Our attitudes can make a difference and I think many Americans really need a big dose of hope for our future.
The decision is this simple –
Do you want four more years of George WMD Bush?
Vote for John Sidney McCain the Third (for Shrub’s 3rd term).
Keep paying higher gas prices, keep killing Americans in Iraq, keep bailing out billionaires. McSame’s your man!
