Revealing slip in campaign pitch

klinetiller.jpgA recent fundraising mailer for Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline was sent out under the letterhead of Women Influencing the Nation, a national anti-abortion group. Kline’s campaign manager, Jennifer Giroux, who belongs to the organization, called the use of the letterhead a “horrible mistake.” The slipup speaks volumes about Kline’s one-note activism.

Here’s hoping another criminal anti-abortion group goes the way of Operation Rescue in losing their tax-exempt status.

And, Our Democrat Governor uses Cedar Crest, the Governors Mansion, to entertain late term abortionist George Tiller and raise political funds for the abortion lobby.

Maybe Kline can make amends by donating to the Tiller Incinerator fund.

Someone needs to find out how that letterhead was available in his campaign office in the first place. I know he’ll be fined again for this, but come on people.

Paul- you KNOW that is a lie. That isn’t what happened at CedarCrest and you know it.

F’n POS liars. Kansans for Lie.

One of the things that intrigues me about “Women Influencing the Nation” and “Concerned Women of America” is that they’re organizations run primarily by men. I notice that they don’t list their officers on their websites, but they don’t trust women to present their “women’s point of view.” The reason their letterhead was available for Kline’s use is that he’s a key woman trying to spread his influence by bending his gender.

I noticed that, and once it was exposed that men were the bigwigs of Concerned Women of America- they quickly appointed or elected women up into those positions.

Gee, go figure, a neocon group of men who create a women’s group and then they run it.

Notice how Kline pandered to his hardcore pro-life groups and threw the rest of the pro-death penalty neocons under the bus with the plea deal from the teenkiller in KC. Instead of taking a slamdunk capital case to court, he let him plead guilty for life in prison. And then he calls it a win.

PMOM – it is true about the Cedar Crest event. The organization the Gov gave the event to is pro-abort.

So it is not a lie.

Actually, one of the reasons that I reluctantly support the death penalty is: Because the death penalty might be useful in forcing confessions and plea bargains, and in getting information from criminals about other criminals.

Excuse me, but this is what happened:

    http://cjonline.com/stories/052808/bre_tiller.shtml

“Abortion provider Dr. George Tiller bought his way into a reception with Gov. Kathleen Sebelius last year at her official residence while he remained under investigation by the attorney general’s office.

Sebelius spokeswoman Nicole Corcoran said today that Tiller attended an April, 9, 2007, event at Cedar Crest, the governor’s residence. She said the reception had been offered as a prize at an earlier fundraising auction for the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus.

“Governor Sebelius donates auction items like a dinner or reception to organizations whose causes she supports,” Corcoran said. “We do not control who purchases it.”

Her confirmation came only hours after the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue published 13 photos from the event on its Web site. Troy Newman, the group’s president, said it obtained copies from someone who attended.

Six of the photos showed Sebelius standing next to someone identified as Tiller, and two showed her shaking hands with that person. Corcoran confirmed that the person is Tiller.

On its Web site, the group described the event as a “lavish secret party” for Tiller, his staff and several other doctors who perform abortions.”

That says it all right there. You seem to always forget how that came about. She didn’t throw him a party, she didn’t dictate who won it. If Operation repulsive had the highest bid I know they’d had taken every opportunity to degrade her as much as they could.

Her problem was that she used state resources to promote her own political interests and didn’t fess up until the photos went public.

She can entertain anyone she wants in her home. She can’t use our tax dollars to do it with.

If she’s a catholic with nine kids and is on public assistance, I think we can rest assured that she’s not running anything; she’s being run! The only question is by whom?

When Sebelius was caught giving a party to Tiller that wasn’t a slip up according to the Eagle. And then there was that stupid editorial saying that it was a bad use of the governors mansion. But with Kline it’s a whole different story. For the Eagle, if a person is anti-abortion, implies he is a bad man, a very very bad man. I hope Kline wins, he gives meaning to lives of Eagle’s editors.

Nope, the spaghetti monster isn’t a control freak; more likely it’s her church or one of the radical fundie groups that can’t stand the idea of a woman not being dependent on a man.
