Praeger, Jenkins are leaders’ leaders

prageerTwo of Kansas’ statewide officeholders are standing out in their fields: Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger (in photo) is president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and state Treasurer Lynn Jenkins is president of the National Association of State Treasurers. It’s a vote of confidence in Kansans’ judgment whenever their elected officials are looked to for leadership among their peers.

How can you tell that these are Republicans? Three ways:

    1. They are elected in Kansas.
    2. The Eagle does not mention political affiliation in a ‘praise piece’.
    3. The Eagle does not mention how important their gender is to so-called equality.

Nothing like a free campaign ad for Jenkins as she runs against a real republican in the 2nd district.

Herb what a sexist pos you are. That’s reason number 3986 why you should never hold a public office. Calling professional women ‘girls’ is about the most insulting and demeaning comment ever.

Dude are you mental, seriously? Are you that small in your masculinity that you have to berate women who have done better than you?

I’m a staunch dem and I voted for Jenkins. Can’t remember if I voted for Praeger or not. I think I did.

Herb is one of those wackos who write 10-page letters, side to side, both sides of the paper, to newspaper editorial editors and then get mad when the editor edits it down to a couple of paragraphs.

Nothing you can do about them except get a giggle for the day when one of their rambling missives hits the in box.

They can state, Vote for me I am female, yet we have to watch out when we say it?? Gender is not a requirement to run for Office. Gender should not be the issue eitherway. I am not discriminitory nor do I disrespect women!!! I jsut refuse to look at, “Vote for me, I am female”!!! Period!!!!!!!! http://www.wen2k.com http://www.HerbertWest3rd.com http://www.west.herb@yahoo.com
