NO JAMES — YOU are wrong this time… I have posted many times here, I have Pittsburgh connections…. I am RIGHT on this one…

Furthermore, AGAIN, please note that McCain says he gave up the names of the Steelers starting DEFENSE… WHEN he was FIRST interrogated (1967 or 68)… So, your quibbling over the Steel Curtain Date, is a moot point… It didnt exist when he was captured, and interrogated by NVA… SO, just face it… McCain was wrong AGAIN!!

He ALSO include a similar story in his autobiography, in which he told the SAME story about the Green Bay Packers… SAME story!! Interesting, eh?? LOL Now the Packers, since they were a successful team at that time, makes more sense than him including the Steelers!!

McCain could NOT have talked about the Steel Curtain of the Steelers when he was captured in 1967/68 — The term, according to the Article I linked, was not adopted until 1972, and the Immaculate Reception… What a catch that was!!!

James, I have no idea where you are getting your information — But it disagrees with everything thats been all over the news ALL day…

The other is a panderer who actually thinks we should consider such folk as McCain and his supporters as marginally sane and able to be worked with.

The name for the ‘Steel Curtain’ was coined in a radio contest in Pittsburg in 1971.

John McCain was held prisoner from 1968 and finally released in 1973.

Perhaps a new prisoner told him about the “steel curtain” or maybe he was pandering to a Pittsburg audience.

Who cares, you were wrong about the ‘Steel Curtain’ date.

Must be an Obama and Obama follower thing with getting numbers wrong.

Foolishness is anything that can be considered horseplay, goofing off, blasphemous, inappropriate, or (rather obviously) foolish.
It can also refer to unnecessary, pointless, or non-beneficial actions and comments of a group of people, as in, “Once this groups of bloggers are done with all their foolishness, they can get back to work. (Not a chance with this bunch)
There appears to be, as always, more foolishness than something of merit going on here.

M-P did you see where McCain got his POW story all screwed up today?? In his book he told about how he gave up the names of his unit as the names of the Green Bay Packers defensive team… TODAY, in Pittsburgh, he told those people he gave up the names of his unit as the members of the Steeler’s Steel Curtain Defense…. Problem is, he was a decade too early!! Steel curtain wasnt there till mid-70’s!! LOL

Maybe now they’ll shut up about the “57 states” mistake of Obama…
